Funny we all start the year hung over.

So to start off the new year, I got a 4th career. Well 3rd 5th or 6th depending which of what I do you consider consistent work lol. But of the serious career paths I’m doing, I’m now Director of Entertainment of Voix Restaurant and Karaoke Lounge. I’m excited to do what I’ve always been doing but on a larger scale more consistently than just Halloween, New Years and pool parties. We have such a solid team. I’m excited to see where we’ll be a year from now.
On another note, lately l’ve been going crazy. I talk to myself outloud. Then l start giggling. I’m mixing up people’s names nonstop and with my schedule so packed, l’m taking things day by day. Always preparing for the next day late night. Thank god for a calendar right?
There’s a good amount of changes and lm kinda worried. I use to do this thing where I’d ask God for something as long as I’d have a clear view of the sky. And in college… it worked…. ALL THE TIME. It was god damn ridiculous. I’d ask for the most shallow shit and I’d get it. But l stopped because l thought, maybe lm only given a limited number of wishes and lm blowing them all now when l should be saving them for you know… the rest of my life when l really need it. But now…. I’ve been getting what I wanted and then regretting it. It’s like the Butterfly effect or any other story where people get greedy and it comes back negatively to them.
Overall I’m just done wishing for things. Praying and chasing after things in life. Like I’m so dumb for not reality checking myself how good I already have it. I do whatever I want. I have more fun than anybody I know and my friends are amazing. Asking God for more is just being selfish. Oh yea, lm Agnostic, l dont tottally believe in God but l dont disbelieve either. It’s kinda like a jar of money and the question is ‘do you believe there is $100 or more in this jar?’ and lm kinda like ‘l dunno and lm not gonna spend my life trying to figure it out’. Prob not a good analogy but you still get the point.
K now lm ranting. Back to my point. I’m greedy and I want more though l already have so much and I gotta remind myself that. Yea I got goals for 2019 but I’m not going to get upset anymore for not accomplishing goals and make myself bummed out while forgetting everything else. The goals for 2019 are gonna be enjoyable to chase and in the end, just like all other goals, everything is gonna be fine regardless what happens.
Now that l’m done being mad emo… The past few weeks starting with right before New Years Eve.
12/28 Friday was still up all night from thurs and then in the morning l hit house showings w James’ parents to check out potential in Brewerytown. Its crazy how fast that neighborhood is changing but it’s not going to last past 2019. Just like Fishtown, there’s going to be a 2 yr window.
Hit Min’s place afterwards to look at small repairs needed at his place since it is under warranty and went over everything. We got food and had a hoagie as a little break. Finally went to bed at 5pm at Min’s and got up later to hit up Johnnie Walker Lounge for Dean’s birthday. Just had a lot of fun socializing and dancing w everyone. Happy Birthday Dean!!! Partied till closing and then was convinced to hit Gardendale. Me Tina Min and Angie checked out Gardendale for the after party for Dean’s birthday and just hung out w friends for a while there before hitting home.
Sat l slept till 8pm….. Yea… So got up and hit Serena’s pregame. Good to pregame w all of Vee’s family again and got to catch up w a lot of friends. Had drinks and then we hit up Johnie Walker Lounge cause we’re asians in Philly and thats what we’re suppose to do.
They got bottles in the center table and then Zack and Marisa got bottles at the table on the right walking in. Introduced a ton of friends to each other and just had fun dancing all night again. A little rough to smoke hookah in mini breaks while dancing lol. Took AMAZING pics of everyone of course and just had a good time partying till close.
Afterwards, dropped off Min and then dropped off Angie and hit home to watch American Horror Story w Jeremiah. Lit the hookah and made some food and bullshitted all night. Worked on my punish guide for Street Fighter V into sunday.
Sunday got up in the evening and had the guys over for games. Just Splendor and Dice Thrones. My sister came by and dropped off a nice Christmas gift of a basket for being not smelly lol. Thank you Allison. Made some stir fry and just had a nice full hang out. Played some Street Fighter V and ended the night w rewatching Avengers Infinity War.
12/31 Monday New Year’s Eve. Started off the night w Street Fighter V. TinaW came through and we got food at a spot close by before the party. Stuffed face and then hit Vince’s New Year’s Eve Party.
Got in and l was forced into this flip a coin onto a pizza box and whoever’s name is lands on has to do a shot unless you land in the spot where it says 1 shot or 2 shots or whatever. It’s really simple but l did my shots only to see Vince moving the coin and going ‘Rob it landed on you’.....

Plenty of drinking games going on as that’s what Vince is all about. Playing Rage Cage is always fun but EVERYONES always screwing up the game lol. I think cause you’re brain is freaking out when you’re up. Lit the hookah, socialized, found the hidden pizza room, gossiped and talked shit and just had a really good time w everyone.
Ended the night w Black Mirror’s interactive episode that had a cool concept but overall it was pretty meh for Black Mirror.
Tuesday hit BJ’s for mad food and then hit back and did a ton of work while watching Game of Thrones on the side as it was just on HBO. Later on the guys came for FGC night as always and just played a lot of Street Fighter V and Splendor. Ended the night w American Horror Story.
Weds had a project meeting in Philly in the evening for a lil. Def the best meeting yet and glad a lot more was getting done. Hit house showings w the Seo’s and checked out a rehab home in Brewerytown they were excited to see.
Hit back home pack a lil more and get gas and we got the Magfest Squad together. We hit Bounme’s in Baltimore and had a chill night playing games, smoking hookah. Taught Bounme Dice Thrones and also played some Street Fighter V. Knocked out watching Crazy Rich Asians lol.
Thursday got up and got our room at Magfest at the Gaylord Hotel. Got burgers and yooo… totally worth it to set me for the day for running around. We checked out the vendors for a lil to see if there was any cool shit to buy and then hit back to the room to chill, hookah and play some Nidhogg 2 to practice. Not really practice but just refresh ourselves w the game.
BOUNME GOT WALKIE TALKIESS YOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!1111 So we were fucking dying just acting dumb on these walkie talkies. Acting mad Secret Service like. We couldnt stop laughing.
We hit the Nidhogg 2 tournament and they do things differently. So… last yr, if you won, you got a prize and you kept playing until you either lost or won 3 in a row. Winner stays, winner gets a prize right? I’d rather just do a double elimination or even a single elimination tournament but whatever. But this yr…. Loser stays until 4 losses. Winner has to leave. Everyone gets a prize of a random coin amount. WHAT?!! So you can lose 4 times and get lucky and pull a $20 magfest coin while l could win and get $1 magfest coin?! SO DUMB!! If anything. Just do 1 game, winner gets a prize, both leave. It was such a participation award competition. I get Nidhogg 2 is a fun game not meant to be taken serious… BUT WE’RE FUCKING TRYHARDS AND WE CAN TO STOMP FELLOW NERDS!!!!111 Whatever.
So we all won our match and we were talking so much shit on walkie talkies to whoever was playing. It made it so worth it. Jeremiah, Plural and Bounme got a $1, l got a $5 and Brando got a $10.

FOUND RANDOM PEOPLE on different channels of the walkie talkie and they came through to chill and met the guy who does the serious Snorlax costume. They use walkie talkies to talk to him while he’s in suit lol.
We later on got Fantasy Strike and me Jeremiah and Plural played a lil. I just wanted to find something simple and abusable which l found a character who puts you in blockstun into a simple left/right 5050 which l could also back off incase of a Super or DP. IT WAS DUMB!! There was 11 of us for the Fantasy Strike tournament, some talking bout how its their main game. I had under 20 minutes with it. Plural took 3rd while me and Jeremiah took 5th and 6th….. Dude… we should not be beating most the people there for a game we JUST downloaded and started playing. Yes we have a serious FGC background but still bruhhhh aioshgoaihgoa lol whatever.
Hit a concert but it sadly ended as we got there and then hit Pose Lounge which was meh. We swung by Josh’s room to say whats up and met people and had a drink and then hit back to the room to play Splendor and chill.
Friday got up and hit the buffet that wasn’t too bad. Stuffed face to get my monies worth and also so l wouldnt be hungry for the rest of the day. Lit the hookah and Clarisse came to chill. Bummed for a lil and then back out and played Magic the Gathering going 2-1 in Sealed on the newest set. Ended up playing White/Black cause of the cards l was given. Didnt have any useful rares or bombs.
Later on more friends came through to chill. Some were playing Smash and just had a good hang out and drank before going out to Pose Lounge and the concert hall. Pose was ok again and then the concert hall was kinda hype. But honestly… I dunno, it felt off. So we went back to the room to really drink and then headed back out. There was a circle and me Goofball and Jeremiah jumped in there to start and then found people to dance w. We invited some of the people we met back to the room. One was StellaChu who turns out to be kinda a big deal in the cosplay scene. Talked bout cosplay and anime for a while watched videos till 5am.
Sat got up to get lunch and found Hack and Betty yayyy!!! Hit the room to chill and it was pretty cool to hear the orchestra play music right outside our room as always since l always request as dead center as possible. They were playing music from Undertale and Game of Thrones and yoooo…. I think that’s mad cool. It’s just so different. It was nice hearing a full orchestra play it live and it was right outside our balcony.
Practiced some Street Fighter V before the tournament and lit the hookah. Hit the Street Fighter V tournament and beat an R.Mika playing, Urien, Balrog, Plural’s Urien thanks to a lil friendly assistance lol and then was in Winner’s Finals against Alex Smith who beat me w his Juri and then lost to Ceroblast’s Kage in Loser’s Finals. Ceroblast ended up winning the event.

Afterwards, we played some Indie games and yooo… there are a lot of really cool indie games. So typically indie games are creative but they dont like last LONG long term. They’re good fun for a month typically but they usually only cost $10-$20. Striker’s Edge, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime and stuff like that. They’re just cool fun games. Turbolance which is just 4 player motorcycle jousting and then At Sundwon which is mad cool. Different weapons, hiding in the shadows and killing each other. Just look it up. It’s out on discord but lm waiting for it to come to ps4 to have it for FGC night.
Later on hit back to the room to chill. Matt(Plural) made reuben sandwiches and yooo soo good. It was funny since we were using the stove l use for the hookah and he was making them in the bathroom. But a meal is a meal and the traffic and wait times and pricing of food at Magfest was ridiculous.
Later on we hit up a party Phong gave us the heads up about. Got in, cracked beers, met people then it got busted lol. But yea, the stick bodyguards at the front of the party was prob drawing some attention.
Miki, Tida and other friends came through to the room to drink and chill and we started talking bout the Magfest Orgy that was rumored to be true. We did some digging and we were getting closer to finding this orgy. I was totally down to FIND the orgy rather than party because dude….. IF WE FOUND AN ORGY that story would live in decades later.

^^ That shit wont die!! It’s like the night when someone shit on the floor at that Halloween Party and we tried to solve who it was. That will always be talked about. That shit happened in 2010 and its now 2019. We did get closer but it seemed to be too late as the trail got cold.
We ended up hitting the concert and ran around and danced w randos lol. Fun times hahaha. Had a late night hang out and just ate ramen and smoked hookah till 5am. Def a fun way to end Magfest.
Sunday we packed and left Magfest. Thank you for driving Jeremiah. I got the worst sleep by sleeping between Matt and Bounme both snoring. No rhythm either. My mind was scrambled. Next trip, they cant sleep till I sleep first lol.
Hit back home just to go back right out for house showings for a while and then hit a meeting w Vince to go over the project and chilled w the House of Zhou watching the football game then Golden Globes which was mehhh… Who really cares who won what for what honestly lol. Y’all act just fine. Movies are dope blah blah. Hit back home to do work like crazy since l didnt do any work weds-sat. Got so much done while having Bond movies on the side as they were just playing on tv. Did more work while watching I love Lucy on the side. Crazy how old that show is but it just works. Did work allllllllllllllll throughout the night and felt really good about it.
It’s good to feel responsible. Especially cause l did nothing but play video games and make sick jokes on walkie talkies for 4 days.
12/7 Monday l slept till 10pm…. Got up and started my day.
Tuesday is a good start. Fuck Monday. So did more work till 6am working on stuff for real estate, DNA Nightlife and our new project. I loveeeeee working late night. Just quiet. Have some show on the side and just get stuff done with no time pressure. Just gotta get what l need to have done with no rush. Its just relaxing. Had Game of Thrones on the side and at 7am or so, started playing Hitman 2. Game is still highly entertaining.
Later on at 1pm, l got food and visited Rita and newborn Julian. Stuffed face and chilled and later Julian went to nap so we got to whip out the hookah lol. Had to visit asap before Rita goes back to work and it’ll be so hard to find time to chill. Glad she’s adjusted a lot to the family life though. I just want Julian to grow up a lil more so l can play w him. Right now he just looks at me like lm an idiot.
Hit Wells Fargo and then hit home to watch more Game of Thrones while doing work. Took a lil nap and then got up for FGC night. Same thing every week as we just played mad fighting games and there was a good amount of Magic the Gathering. I do wanna get back into Magic the Gathering but yoooo my entertainment time is filled and l can barely keep up w all the games, movies and shows l want to be up to date on. Had a good night as always and hung out till 3am.
Weds hit house showings lunch time w David and John and checked out a really interesting property. 3 car garage and office with kitchen and bathroom downstairs then upstairs was a 2 bedroom home. The location was great too. Having garage parking though is massive in Philly though. Especially when youre paying over $400 a month for a parking spot in a parking garage. House showings were fun and good to catch up w David and John. Afterwards, hit back home and chilled w ChrisH and we just played some Street Fighter 5.
Hit a meeting all evening and worked on a ton of stuff lm very excited for. I think we’re gonna def be ahead of sced at our rate. Got home late to bum and do work and had Game of Thrones on the side. Emailed the Fung Bros seeing if we can do a philly asian party video or something and dm’d some famous IG girls lol. This is what l do what lm being productive.
Thursday hit house showings w the Seo family and saw one property with potential but the rehab costs would only equal the price of getting the same home fully finished. Hit back home to sleep more and then back out for house showings w ChrisC in Brewerytown. Saw a lot of great spots and its crazy how fast it’s building up.
Afterwards, we hit Andy’s as Erica set up a surprise party for his birthday. Had a big solid squad for food, drinks and hookah. Anna brings out board games which you think party and board games you think of something very wholesome. It wasn’t wholesome. The Taboo game we played was vulgar as fuck as we split into teams of guys vs girls which the losing team did shots each round. EmilyD got my phone and started making dumb messages to girls on my dating apps…. And she was getting responses…. Addie pulled down my pants while l was standing on a stool on video, Andy got caked and JohnV got caked twice and the third time just cake got all over the piano. The place got pretty trashed in general. Erica’s pinata filled w juuls. It was a mess lol. Fun times!!
Afterwards, pced out and swung by Johnnie just for a drink and hookah for those who wanted to stay out. Dropped everyone off afterwards and hit home to do work with Game of Thrones on again on the side. Re-watching the last season just as a refresher though l just rewatched all of it not too long ago.
Friday got up and yooo Ancient Aliens allllll day!! So just had that on the side while l peacefully worked all evening. Got my Street Fighter 5 rank back up to Diamond but yoooo l dunno what to do to level up again. I got a list of things to test though. Played w Kage for a while who is mad fun but yooo… he’s so stubby. Great walk speed, damage, normals, specials… but yoo… getting in is rough.
Later ChrisC had a pregame at Goldtex so we hit that up and friends came through to drink. Even CindyZ came out for the first time in forever. We hit up Johnnie and had an interesting night lol. Round 2 for Andy’s birthday. Just danced w friends, smoked hookah and had a good time being w everyone.
Ended the night bumming w the roomies and smoking hookah while watching Josh play Red Dead Redeption 2.
Sat bummed and watched Jeremiah play Dead or Alive 6 beta and ChrisH was playing Street Fighter V. l was so dead. Had food and smoked hookah and then hit Min’s for a small pregame. Got Angie and Emily and pregame was a lot of fun.
Hit up Tango first to visit Kenny and we smoked and played Liar’s Dice/Bullshit for shots. Dark liquor always kills me so l lost and then quit lol. Watched friends play several rounds and just had a good time chilling there. Afterwards hit Noto and met up w some friends and other new friends and just had fun dancing and acting silly. The crowd wasnt too huge though since it was snowing. Partied there till closing and then got Halal Guys and had a chill after party at Min’s where we just ate, talked bout the night and smoked. Def cool to always meet new people and got home late.
Sunday got a lot of work done during the day and friends came over in the evening to watch the Eagles game and played games ourselves. I started Undertale because its known as an amazing game and I love the music but l dunno… its not really me. I quit after a few hours into it but the guys enjoyed me watching it. We’ll see, maybe l’ll give it a second shot.
Switched to Hitman 2 and did a suburban level a few different ways then Resident Evil Remastered finished downloading. Bought Resident Evil Remastered, Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil 4 to hype myself up for Resident Evil 2 Remake but I dont think I’ll finish all 3 before RE2Remake comes out. Got a lot done though in my play through and just enjoyed the guys being around to hang out.

1/14 Monday hit up my listing appointment to go over everything w a new client who found me since I was… just the agent that sold a home for the most this neighborhood’s history has ever seen… no biggie. So went over the gameplan with how l’m gonna do it again and then got a cheesesteak before hitting back home.
Ate, worked and kept Planet Earth on the side since they’re playing it so much to hype up Dynasties which is the new 2019 Planet Earth. I love these shows. Just learn and see cool shit about animals. You can just throw it on and do whatever. Like write in your blog lol.
Later played Resident Evil w ChrisH and Jeremiah and then hit up interviews for Voix. Oh yea… guess I can announce it but I’m Director of Entertainment of Voix, a new restaurant karaoke lounge opening this spring in Northeast Philly. So interviewed friends and their friends for potential bottle girls and had a good chill time doing interviews alongside Vince and Steven.
Afterwards, hit Min’s place to work on something to write up to post about renting out his bedrooms of his new home. Worked on that while talking bout the past weekend and smoking hookah. Good hang out. Next got my sister’s macbook from Nicah and then got food and hit home where the roomies were just chilling so joined in on that. Watched funny videos, smoked hookah and bummed. Ended the night watching more Planet Earth and eating ramen.
Tuesday got up and we had a photoshoot at my new listing. Afterwards, back to sleep cause l’ve been getting no sleep. Got up in the afternoon to do work and then friends came over for FGC night. Just played Street Fighter V on and off and made nuggets, fried dumplings and fried wontons for everyone. Chill game night and hung out late.

Weds got up and got Steven for a marketing meeting in Center City. Went over a lot of stuff for Voix and I’m really hype as each meeting gets me more excited than the last. Afterwards, hit Steven’s and worked on multiple things for Voix till the rest of the team showed for our meeting. Our meetings are pretty fun. There’s just the right amount of productivity with joking around mixed in. It’s like going to the library with your fraternity brothers. You get your shit done and you enjoyed the company.
Hit home afterwards and watched Redline w Chris and Brando. Was gonna do COD BO4 for the first time in forever but the guys were getting off. Watched Curb your Enthusiam and then some Entourage. Ended the night doing work.
Hack is so gay.
