I think how someone gets too busy is when they get some free time, they find something to do. They get use to it and then when they are back to a normal sced, they’re busy now cause they got too much to do. I’m losing tv shows/movies. I barely have time for shows besides maybe 1-2 episodes w roomies on some nights. Somedays I’m getting soooo much done and it feels great. But l gotta preplan everything. It is kinda sad when you gotta like plan weeks ahead of time and pencil in your friends to hang out. Remember 4th grade after school ‘yo Zang lm coming’ ok cool. Make ramen, play video games, talk about girls. Actually not too much has changed lol.
But anyway, keeping up w everything is rough. W work.. W gaming… w spending time w everyone which l’ve been slacking… w staying up to date on tv shows and movies which lm also slacking in… Its weird, I’ve been single for over 2 months now and l thought ld have more time for myself but lm still working on things nonstop. I wish there was like just 4 more hours in everyday.

KK so past few weeks.
1/17 Thursday got up in the evening and Domkey came through to pick up stuff. He ended up hanging w me and Jeremiah for a while til he had to go buy snowboarding stuff. Did work at home all evening and later on hit COD BO4 but got no wins. We havent played in forever. Later on played some Resident Evil Remastered and Chris Brando Jeremiah stayed to hang out and watch.
Played some Street Fighter V for a lil and then made ramen and watched Planet Earth and some Mortal Kombat 11 footage. Chilled and worked on our DNA Nightlife Chinese New Year event.
Friday got up late and did work for a lil before getting chinese food and watching some Game of Thrones. Rewatching the last season to get hype. Brown came by to chill for a lil. At 11pm, headed out to Johnnie Walker Lounge. Met up w TinaT and went in and found friends. Angie got a table and met her friends and JennyJ came out of hiding!! Partied all night and just had a good time dancing and then ended the night dropping off Angie and then hanging w the roomies. Played Overcooked 2 for a while and ate before knocking out late night.
Sat got up in the evening and played Street Fighter V and then we watched Punisher season 2. Just 1 episode but then went back to sleep. Was so tired. Got up again and hit Min’s House Warming Party.
Ran in doing shots, socialized and its kinda weird but nothing really happens. Its just one big social drinking event and its so fun. But towards the end of the night, we started getting crazy. Dance off’s and also watching girls do kpop dances to the music. Was def entertaining. Ended up getting home at 6am after dropping off Jess and Angie and watched American Horror Story w Jeremiah. Just ended up bullshitting for a lil and then left at 9am for the Magic the Gathering pre-release tournament.
Sunday got to Oxford Valley Mall and there was 50 players. I didnt read up about the set at all but honestly… it doesnt help that much at all. You learn as you go and a 2/2 for 2mana is still the same thing as ever. So l ended up going Red/Black and had a good amount of removal, a few tricky finisher cards which was an Act of Treason ‘steal your opponents creature and swing with it’ and a simple 3 cost spell giving all my creatures +2/+0 which is good for that final all in swing when they think they can live.
My first 3 opponents were players l know of from before who are pretty good. Beat all 3 and though l felt unlucky l had to go up against a good player right from the start, it was actually good because swiss tournaments keep factor of everyone you beat and lose to on how well they did against who they played and its very detailed. Lost my 4th match, won my 5th and then lost my 6th so it was iffy if l made it into Top 8. I DID!!! JUST made it because though l was 4 wins 2 losses like a few others, the players l did beat were overall higher ranked than the other players against the other 4-2 record players. Also my last match, l lost 2-1 rather than 2-0 which helps. It was by a very small margin that l made it into Top 8. From Top 8 everyone wanted to go home, some had plans and l just made dinner plans so the 8 of us split the 80 packs evenly all tied for 1st-8th. I take pre-releases way too seriously lol. But l nearly always make it into Top 8 at pre-releases. If its 40 players, if its 85 players… l’ve been playing Magic the Gathering way too long not to make it.
Hit back home to change and wash up and then got Michelle and we hit dinner at J.B Dawson’s. Got the Filet of course and aioerhgoaihrgoai so good every single fucking time. Had a really nice dinner and hit back to chill w the guys as they were playing board games. Smoked hookah and introduced Michelle to the guys and then we knocked out pretty early cause l was up for an insane amount of hours.
1/21 Monday got up in the evening and me and Michelle hit a pho spot by her house. Really nice up to date modern spot and the pho was really good and yooo their spoons were just a lil deeper that made a huge difference. I really liked it. Liked it so much, l stole one.
Dropped off Michelle and hit interviews w Vince and found more great potential for Voix. Through our team, we’ve def found really great potential the past few weeks. I’m really excited. Afterwards, got shisha and then hit back home to play COD BO4 w Vince Goof and DavidH/Morris. Got 1 win and then watched some Netflix and ate pasta and had hookah. Ended the night w gaming news into Tues.
Tuesday had work all evening and then more interviews w Vince at 6pm. Our interviews are really chill and it def helps get to know potential staff. We got the same goal of wanting to hire people hype to work, who like their work and are cool to just hang w in general. When you stick around work when your shift is over because you like being there, that’s a really good sign you got a good job. We got KFC afterwards and ate at his place and hung w Vince Tomy and Elwyn for a lil before hitting home.
Hit home for FGC night and just bummed w the guys. Was so beat. Played some Splendor and had a win in the 2nd game going midgame route. Seems to be the best route but some say few endgame cards is best.
Hit my room and got a TON of work done. Setting up interviews, real estate house showings, DNA nightlife Chinese new year event and other stuff. Went back down to watch American Horror Story w Jeremiah and then back to my room for more work. Got sooo much done in one night. When it’s nice and peaceful and l have all the time in the world to myself.
Caught up on some gaming news and ended up looking back on a ton of old facebook albums. Crazy how much happens in 3 years so quickly. It doesnt feel like 3 years for everything thats happened. Feels about 2 years. Time flies faster every year.
Weds got up late but our meeting was cancelled as a few people couldn’t make it. Did real estate work and at 8pm hit COD BO4 w Goof Peter and Vince and we got 2 wins.

Def had a lot of fun getting these wins. Same thing as always. Having a full team at end game and a lot of communication. You dont NEED mad grenades, a crazy shooter and level 3 armor. Just good teamwork and some guns. For real. Its crazy some of the wins we pulled in the past. That one game me Vince and Luminar won when we had no scope further than a 2x lol.
Afterwards, hookah and food w Chris Brando and Jeremiah and watched some Entourage then played and finished Resident Evil Remastered thanks to ChrisH’s guidance. Shit gets sooo confusing. Ready for Resident Evil 2 Remake. Chilled w ChrisH as he did Street Fighter V trails then into the room to work all night into thurs on various things.
Thurs got up and got Vince and we hit Mayfair. Got some pizza and set up for interviews and met a group of 3 friends who were really outgoing that seem to be a great fit. Def seem like popular girls who have party people.
Later on hit COD and we sadly didnt get any wins. Still rusty off that time off playing. Later on played Resident Evil 2 Remake w the Jeremiah Chris and Brando. Im freaking out all the time so l cant pay attention like that. Game is mad fun tho. Watched some Curb your enthusiam and then packed for friday.
Friday got up and hit NYC to get Paola and then get my sister Allison. We hit up AC and we went from having 2 rooms to 3 rooms to 1 room AND A SUITEEEE AWWW YEAAAA!!! I love having a suite. It’s too fun. Me and Allison were flipping out. Its just so fun to have that.
Later on friends started showing up…. SOMEWHAT ON TIME!!!! Yayyyy longer pregame!!! God l love pregame. Pregame is just more time to spend w everyone and a good time for everyone to meet everyone from different groups so when we go out, we’re on big group. Introduced friends to friends, did shots, lit the hookah. Same stuff as always but it doesnt get old. I just like being in a room w friends. A really nice room w a nice bar and pool table lol.
Pregame was just too much fun. LaurenS even made it through and its been forever since we chilled. Shots at the bar, people playing pool. Friends meeting friends and getting ready together. I really loved it. We hit downstairs to get stamped real quick then pregame round 2 where we really started to drink. The suite just gave us so much space. Later at 1am we went downstairs and got our same hot tub. It was nice and hot and we just jumped right in and started dancing. Chingy was the special guest but it wasnt really all that great. Got the bottles and was just dancing in the hot tub the whole time. We partied till 230am but then got in trouble for having over 7 people in the hot tub lol. Security guards were yelling at each other if we were ok or not but by the time they let us do whatever we wanted, they killed the mood and we were just getting wings for the after party.
Ended the night w hookah and mad food. Had $75 left over from all the money people chipped in for tip and room fees and threw it to wings and we stuffed face. Everyone was figuring out where to sleep. The sofa actually became a pull out. Good find Paola. Chris slept on the pool table. Got a lil bed delivered to the room and there was more sofa space. We didnt go to bed till about 530am.
Sat got up and took Paola and my sister back to NYC. At the rest stop, Lauren happened to be there too and we ate and talked bout the night. Dropped off everyone and hit my office and printed things out for my Open House for sunday. Got home to change really quick then right back out to get Julia Jordyn Halle and Angie. We hit up JohnS’ pregame and played some beer pong. Julia was saying she’s really good so we teammed up and beat 6 games lol. Some of my old fraternity brothers Connor and Steve came through and Steve was salttyyyyy lol. We did get a weird ass like battle axe 5 cup rack hhahaha. Afterwards we hit up JWL and split bottles. More friends made it through later and we pretty much had a massive group between 3 tables. Introduced friends to friends and had fun dancing all night. StevenZ came through and got us another bottle too, thank you Steven. Glad he got to meet the new potential bottle girls.
Ended the night getting mad halal guys and hitting John’s to eat and hookah before dropping everyone off.
Sunday hit my Open House. Same neighborhood where l sold Ryan’s for the most that neighborhood ever saw before. Which is how l got this new listing. Gameplan worked perfectly which l hoped for since l talked a big game of how l was gonna get it done. Open house was flooded, people were saying they need this house to me infront of other buyers and it got everyone panicked. Had a really great open house and had atleast 8 offers coming in.
Hit home to organize some of the offers already received. Some before the Open House. Some handed me a physical written offer at the Open House and some emailed me a few hours later. Played games for a bit and we got a win on COD BO4 using the outlander and medic/consumer trick where l dont fight the last team if its just me… l just heal faster and take less damage outside the final circle to win.
1/28 Monday got up to reply back to some offers. There were a lot of strong offers and other agents were saying they were going to adjust their offers more…. We really told everyone ‘send your BEST offer and we’re just picking the best’ but with so many adjusting their offers, it was worth to see their changes.
Later on JennaZ came through and we got JB Dawson’s and stuffed face. Got the filet oscar cause I pretty much always order it though l do wanna try new things and yooo god damn l love that place so much. Good catching up w Jenna and we chilled a lil longer before l had to head out.
Had to reply back to offers again and yoo.. People were so aggressive. Sent back emails and then met up w Vince for Voix interviews that went well. Found some potential and others that are prob best suited for other roles within Voix. We’ll see how training interviews go really. Hit home to do more work and then hit COD BO4 but we didnt get any wins. A ton of 2nd and 3rd places and gahh it was frustrating. Played some Resident Evil 2 Remake w the roomies before knocking out.
Tuesday got up in the evening and sent out listing to clients before picking up Vince and Steven to meet up w Nic for our managers photoshoot for Voix in Center City. The photoshoot was pretty fun and it turns out Riza was one of our photographers. Had a fun shoot and yooo l look so nice suited up lol. Maybe l’ll get use to it. Well I kinda have to come March.
Afterwards, we stuffed face at Tai lake and yooo Fried Scallion Lobster yooooo SOO GOODDDD!!!!11 Got a ton of food and yo… l love left over asian food simply to put on white rice. Everything is good on white rice. Thank you for dinner Steven.
Hit home for FGC night and just chilled. Was totally outta it. Just the same hang out as always and l love its at my place so l dont gotta drive. I drive enough lol. Watched some Punisher and went to somewhat clean my room. From all the running around, its been getting so messy. Watched some Vikings before knocking out.
Weds got up and we picked the very best offer w the least amount of risks. Very happy for my clients and we got EXACTLY what we were looking for. Def need to hit up this neighborhood with my reputation to get another listing. It’ll be my third sale on the same street. Its a popular spot. Duplexes are just popular in general. Did a conference call with the Voix managers all evening and had a productive call. So excited for the next month coming up. We’re really building a great team. The last in person meeting we had was really nice as we kinda all just hung out for a while after the meeting was over and got to know each other and you gotta like your co-workers or work kinda sucks.
Afterwards, worked on an offer for DavidP and worked w the team on that for a while. Late night got on COD BO4 and we got another win… being dirty again w my trick. That time off COD BO4 for a few weeks def hurt as we’re not getting 2-5 wins a night as we use to but its now 1 win or no wins. But whatever, l’ll take each win. Played some Resident Evil 2 remake w the roomates and then Punisher again before bed.
Thurs got up and hit interviews with Vince again. Interviews are going so smoothly since we’ve done so many now. People are so nervous and I forgot what it’s like to interview lol. We try to make people relax but l do get they are applying for a position.
Hit home and me and Vince got on COD BO4 w the guys and yoooo YAYY 4 wins!! 2 on Ambush and 2 normal Blackout game mode. We had one dirty win hehehe because thats the best way to do it. The last win, l was gonna cheese it too but then all of a sudden, it was only me vs one other person who l heard walked into the shed next me. Went in a blasted him for a win. AN HONEST WIN - CAUSE WE HONEST….. SIKKKKEEE!!!!

Friday got up in the evening and got an accepted offer for David. Very happy for him and he made my life really easy finding exactly what he wanted. Congrats David! Afterwards, got Julia and hit Chris’ pregame and had a good time meeting new people and drinking and we hit up Noto next door. Got the stage table for AnnaP’s birthday. Happy Birthday Anna!!!! The signs were ridiculous… Queen Claire lol. She does that humor of being a princess and its always funny. Had a good time drinking and dancing w friends up there and partied till closing. Thomas Gold delivered well and the music was on point since he got on.
Ended the night going to Ken’s seafood. We were gonna do Gardendale but then Dean called saying ‘Ken’s instead?’ YESSS FOOD YAASSSSS!!! So we stuffed face hardcore. Family styled the food and yooo…. God damn… l love food. Stuffed face and sang karaoke and yooo… AngieL got pretty drunk and just started taking beers outta the fridge. Left the fridge open. I’m like ‘yoo dont we gotta pay for that and shouldnt we be asking the servers?’ but apparently not lol. Angie does what she wants. Made us drink more and yoo… l dont even understand what she was saying at the end of the night lol. Dropped everyone off and tho l was awake for under 12 hours, l knocked out from all the drinking.
Sat got up late again and did real estate work and printed comp lists and double checked on all these college organization for our Chinese New Year - Year of the Pig event. Got to Stat where me Long and Emily ran the door and yoooo… the rush of people at 1045pm was crazy. These college kids are insane. So they pregammed really hard lol. Music got better as l told the DJ to play EDM. His friends were requesting One Direction and shit and l was like ‘No look at this crowd. We are here to satisfy this crowd, not your friends. No One Direction.’ god damn…. So then these college kids got hype and the turn out was as big as Halloween due to us making it the Official After Party for Asian Expo. But yoo… they really drank. There was a bit too much puking incidents on the dance floor. I didnt see all incidents but l heard it was killing the vibe of the dance floor. Halloween you guys were soo good!!! But had fun w Emily and Long running the event and got great feedback overall.
Afterwards, dropped off stuff at Long’s and stopped by JWL at the end of the night to say hey to friends and Anna for her bday and then we hit up Pho 20. Chris Rich and Steven met up w us and we destroyed this pho. I’m glad lm eating pho more often lately. Pho and lobster are two of my favorite foods l dont eat enough of.

Sunday at 9am went to BJ’s and got mad food and cups and stuff. Hit home to do work and then kinda just bullshitted till 1pm and then FINALLY went to sleep. Slept on and off as my phone was going off. I dont like to miss calls ever so dont silent it just incase.
Got up at 630pm and watched the Superbowl w the guys. Bet $50 against GregM from KU days and $5 against ChrisH since he just wanted to bet something. GOOOO PATRIOTSSS!!! Hahhahaha so Patriots made me some money. They also made me money in 2017 and 2016. I didnt bet on them last year cause l didnt want to bet against the Eagles and have everyone hate me and lm glad l didnt since they lost. Me and other friends who bet on Patriots all giggled about ‘being a traitor’ but moniezzzzzz… I only won $55 though. 2016 l won $200 by betting $50 on coin flip and $150 on the game. Seak and her friend came through too to smoke hookah and chill. Guys were playing all sorts of games and hung out till 1am. Bullshitted online, re-reading my old Yelp Reviews lol… somehow time passed till 5am… This is why l sleep late.
2/4 Monday got up early and had a productive day. Got my oil change, an estimate to fix my rear mirror that car hit last week for $300 ughhhh but whatever, cant do anything bout it. Hit the mall to return one Express shirt, got a tempered glass screen cover, got more Magic the Gathering cards to host a Sealed 6 player Round Robin and new really big deck box that l plan to hold only rares in there. Got gas, got more food, nail clippers.
Hit home and hit up all clients to check up on them, booked homes for weds for Veronica and Thursday for Chris. Made calls to double check on interviews. And calls about a Subtle Asian Dating event for Thursday night at Johnnie Walker Lounge. This new event app is co-hosting and l reached out to them to get more info. Will see if maybe its worth getting really involved in it or just to help out to boost DNA nightlife and Voix and other friend’s business. We’ll see.
Friends came through and we made steaks l got and stuffed face. l hopped on Street Fighter V for a while. Doing better. But damn the game is giving me mad Master players now. Starting to drop combos which is bad. Got on COD BO4 and we got a nice clean win middle of the night. Mad some motz sticks, smoked hookah and watched Punisher till 3am before knocking out.
Tuesday got up early and hit home inspection w David and his girlfriend. Had a smooth inspection and got viet food right next to the new spot. Viet food soooo good. Broken rice and that sauce they give you w pretty much every dish is so good. Im gonna have to check HMart if they sell broken rice too but l dont think they do. After inspection. Hit home to chill w Chris for a lil as he was playing Resident Evil 2 remake and then was gonna go back out for interviews. They got postponed though so just played Street Fighter 5 online till friends got here for FGC Dumpling sessions.
The guys came through and just had a good time playing everyone in Street Fighter 5. Raul even made it out and made sure he got mad matches in since he drives mad far to come chill. Made mad motz sticks and had hookahs lit. Played and watched documentaries on Drugs till 130am and then knocked out..
Weds got up for house showings w a new family and saw 3 great spots but 1 was clearly the best. Def a fun evening and made calls to get the applications in. Headed out to get shisha and hit my Voix meeting and soooo hype for this place to open. Meeting was fun as always and smoked hookah, ate pizza and laughed a lot. Afterwards, hit Long’s to get payment for the Chinese New Year event and hit home to chill. Lit the hookah and me and Jeremiah smoked while watching ChrisH play till 330am lol.
