Sup Guys, it seems everyone is getting a new job and is much happier.
A lot of friends this past year have gotten a new job and are so much happier right now. Some are being paid more, some less but what really matters is that they are happy at work. Everyone who has switched jobs to something they enjoy is so much happier regardless of pay.
I’m writing about this because if you hate your job… find a new job asap. I’ve had some friends search for 6 months and it sucks to come home and job hunt when you’re home and tired, I’ve been there. But it’s so worth it.
I’m really lucky l found real estate and nightlife and wouldnt know what ld be doing if not this and I’m really thankful for that.
Sunday ended the night playing more Monster Hunter World along w a bunch of other bullshit. Bummed till 10am reading gaming news and stuff and knocked out.
4/15 Monday got up at 8pm… yeaaa… did work and played Monster Hunter for a while. Killing Tempered Monsters Solo. It’s my goal to kill all Monsters solo in their strongest form.
Ate w Jeremiah downstairs and hung for a bit and then caught up on gaming news and played Street Fighter 5 into Tues finishing up my Punish guide finally because Ed’s punishes are very specific to range and how negative they are.
Tues still up playing Street Fighter 5 into the morning. Headed out to run mad errands. Got my windshield crack fixed after over a year cause it didnt pass inspection, then got sticky tape from home depot and then got my car re-inspected to pass inspection. Got Subway and hit home finally to eat and watch Dope on Netflix. Took a nap then up for FGC night.

Made mussles w sauce w a ton of stuff l read to put it and it was mad good. Played a TON of Street Fighter 5 feeling myself going 9-1 MattC, 10-0 Brando, 11-6 Jeremiah. But l know they can all stomp me in all the other games lol. I wanna add Nidhogg 2 into the mix. We played and hung out till 130am and got no noise complaint yayy!! The new foam pads are helping l guess.
Ended the night watching Alien vs Predator while catching up on gaming news, setting up my new Alexa thanks to Mike and Sam and watching Dope on Netflix while eating. Testing Shimmy ideas and counter hit set ups for Ed that are simple and straightforward. Slept late.
Weds got up at 4pm and hit Philly w Vince and Thuy for ALL YOU CAN EAT CRAB LEGS at Tavern on Broad. YOOOOOOO…… it was banging. Huge crab legs came out fast and we destroyed 6 big plates full. Had about 13 clusters and it was a really good time in general. We hit back to Nicah’s to play 13, hookah and digest for a while afterwards. Hit home to do work and watch Alien Convenant and then played a ton of Monster Hunter while reading gaming news. Got an AMAZING Great Sword from the event going on. Very happy.
Thurs l slept on and off and got up late. Got Nicah from the train at 530pm and hit giant to get mad food and did work. Hit Vince’s for poker later on and me and Nicah lost $45 total. We havent played in forever though. It was Omaha that was killing me. Second we kept switching to Omaha, thats when losing is losing big. God damn it, l wish l never brought up Omaha.
Hit back to my place to eat and watch Dexter and messed w Street Fighter 5 till 8am lol.
Friday got up late and did work all evening. Hit Best Buy to get my GOD OF WAR PS4 PRO BUNDLEE OMGGGG hahaha and then hit Philly. Got Andy Erica and Sam and we hit AC and set up pregame.
Got food and got ready and friends slowly made it over. Had a really fun pregame and hit down to get stamped then more pregame. Finally went down again around 1am and got our bottles and hot tub and partied in the hot tub all night. So at first, it was chill and after we killed 1 bottle, we just snapped lol. Water was fucking everywhere, dancing and splashing, pulling random people into our hot tub. I felt bad, one girl fell in but then banged her head on the railing. Was just doing shots from the bottle and partied till 3am. Got pizzas and wings for everyone and we stuffed face and smoked hookah till 430am. Def a lot of fun but was so tired.

Sam drove us back to Philly as I was mad sleepy. I coulda done it but it was nice to have someone else drive. We got McDonalds at 6am and then finally went to bed back at Nicah’s.
Sat got up late and me and Nicah got Penang. ALWAYS a solid choice. So cheap, so good. But then again, it is just noodle dishes and stuff, nothing too costly for them. We got bubble tea at TeaDo then hit pregame and played 13 and hookah. Met up w everyone at Suga as Paola was playing there and got a crowd over. Did shots and danced all night and got sweaty fast. My legs were sticking to my jeans. Just had A LOT of fun dancing though and we had a really solid squad. Partied till closing and thank you Paola for hooking us up as always.
Hit back to Nicah’s to play 13, smoke hookah and eat meatballs w red sauce. Stuffed face and god it was so good. Hit back home to do work, set up the new ps4 pro and read up a lil on the new Magic the Gathering set into Sunday morning.
Sunday finally made it to a Magic the Gathering pre-release. Theres only 4 each year and something has always come up lately. I always do well in them nearly always placing in Top 8 out of the 40-80 players that show up. Only twice l feel like in the last 4 years l didnt make Top 8, just missing it. So forced Red White as always and Breslin laughed at me for doing it but l think honestly… its more about how the colors play than what cards you get overall. White and Red BOTH have the best 2 and 3 drops. Solid 2/2 and 3/3s w haste, first strike, lifelink. They’re solid ground troops. Then Red and White BOTH have great cheap removal. 1-3 mana costing blast spells or exiling creatures that give me problems right out of the game. Then Red and White BOTH have cheap great combat tricks. 1-2 mana drops that buff and both colors are first strike focused. When playing Limited, l think First Strike then Flying are the most powerful abilities. They just set the pace. If l got a 3/3 First Strike(which l did) and they got a 3/3, l can swing in for free constantly or just sit him there knowing you cant attack anymore. It’s great. I control the pace. Usually lm swinging w it when a combat trick behind it incase. Anyway.

So took 3rd place and was kinda bummed. Looking at the other table playing of who l woulda had to play, it woulda been a tough game as well as they were playing similar to me. All 2-3 drops of solid ass 2/2 3/3 creatures. Its honestly a simple, straight forward game playing limited. Stick to the basic rules of having lots of 2-3 mana creatures, a lil removal and combat tricks. 17 lands of the 40 card deck.
Hit home afterwards to do a lil work then passed out after being up for 27 hours.
4/23 Monday got up at 630am and started doing work. Booking homes and starting the week off normal. Played some Street Fighter 5 just testing all shimmy possibilities. Some God of War later on before napping. Got up for my house showings. Check out some potential but nice cheap homes are always in a rough area. Got chinese food and went to Nicah’s.
Hung out w Nicah Andy James Erica and Christie. Inshal came through later for DNA payments and smoked hookah and ate. Just a nice evening hang out. Later on visited my grandparents outside of Chinatown for a lil since I haven’t been able to visit much lately. I wanted to visit w Allison next but we’re just always out doing something that it’s hard to coordinate a good time.
Hit home and did work. Ate chinese food while watching Netflix’s Dope and played God of War till early morning.
Tues got up in the evening and did work nonstop till l hit Hmart to get mad food for the next 2 days of events. Got Nicah at the train station and hit Giant for more food and then hit home to set up FGC/Doki Doki night. Tons of friends came through to play different fighting games. The same Top 3. Street Fighter V, Dragonball FighterZ and Tekken 7. Set up Doki Doki on Jeremiah’s stream and yoooooo shit went down and yoo the story is really good. It’s a sad cute twisted story in the end. Also watched more videos on things we missed in other playthrough’s and what has a rare chance of happening. Just fun twisted shit but overall… the story is pretty damn cool and makes you think and feel after the game is over. And I like the ending song.

Stuffed face w dumplings and shrimp and had a really fun night w everyone. I’m glad the set up in the house is getting better and better each time. I wanna buy more and more stuff to make it better and better. The sound proofing pads, the TVs and gaming monitors, the seating, the food and having set ups ready to go. It’s just nice. I really love having friends for everything lm into. It was just seriously a really fun night.
Later on me and Nicah watched Edge of Tomorrow which l saw before and really liked. Nicah realized its from a Manga she read a long time ago and Edge of Tomorrow was a film adaptation of it. Ended the night trying to go to bed but Nicah was being annoying for lil 40 mins omggg….
Weds got up and we hit Philly. Dropped off Nicah and hit my house showings w Will and found a great spot to apply to. Hit back to Nicah’s to hookah and hang as Andy was playing Zelda and then headed out to JohnP’s.
Brown Jenny John Diep Me and Nicah all ate hotpot/kbbq and omggg so fucking good everytime but so damn filling. I ate so much and was still hungry. Partly cause l only had one meal Tues and didnt even eat yet on weds. Afterwards, played some Pump Up, lit the hookah and ended the night playing pool and watching a gross ass video on youtube lol. Good times as always w them.
Hit back to do a ton of work for my 2 closings coming up and for all the renters I have. Its insane how many renters I have. But I’m glad to be finding people a home and renters eventually turn into buyers. Playing the long term game. Loaded files from my PS4 Slim to my PS4 Pro and caught up my gaming news. Ended the night w some Monster Hunter World and then testing some stuff to punish the new character Falke.
Thurs got up for work in the morning and then dropped off Nicah at the train. Hit the Warwick Township for paperwork and stuff and then got my haircut. Hit Toys R Us seeing if there were any crazy sales since they are going out of business. Really sad Toys R Us is closing down. Got Taco Bell and ate while watching Dope and did more work in the evening.
Hit The Lab later on and played in Street Fighter 5 but only Julio and Nick could make it. Both using Falke against me. Beat Julio but lost to Nick. Falke is def interesting. Hung out for a while after my matches until it was time to hit Philly.
Nicah wanted to see Cheat Codes since last time Noto was packed and wasnt letting anyone else in. Had a pregame w Sam and John at their place for drinks and hookah and hit Noto and yoooo… music was on point. We had a lot of fun and partied till closing. Later on we tried to get food at Halal Guys but they were closing at 2am instead of 3am or 4am… l know its Thurs but they use to still be open late. Then we hit Taco Bell and they closed at 2am… GOD DAMN IT THURSDAYYYYYYY!!!! So then we just got Wawa lol. Ate at John’s beofre hitting back home to sleep.
Friday morning got up and hit closing w JeffP. Closing went really smooth and lm really happy for him. We had a fun hunt together and got lucky with this one beating out the competition.
Got pizza and hit home to watch Ancient Aliens and eat while doing work. Took a lil nap before heading back out to Philly.
Got up and Jeremiah rode w me and hit Nicah’s to get Nicah Andy Roy and Erica. Also got ErickaS and got tickets and hit pregame. Joined pregames at JohnS’ place and smoked hookah, had some drinks and played beer pong going 1-1 gaioerhgo.. Short lived. Later we did me and Nicah vs Andy and Erica lol so…. Nicah……
Hit Noto for Audien which l knew would be huge. Sold some more last minute tickets and got drinks and hit VIP w friends. SOOO many people were there. Danced all night and Zedd made a surprise appearance where the crowd flipped a shit. I already knew about it since a friend texted me about it. Partied till 2am and had a lil after party. The 6 of us ate made meatballs and smoked hookah and hung out for a lil before hitting back home. Got home to read a lil gaming news and shower and slept.
Sat got up early to help Adam and Danielle move. Not too much stuff. Talked bout a ton of shit and they got us made chic filla. Always nice. Stuffed face and helped move the last few things before heading out to Best Buy to check out their stoves but nothing too great. Hit home to play Street Fighter 5 and read gaming news. Was sucking in Street Fighter 5 for a bit. Even ranking down to Ultra Gold for a lil. It’s been a while since I did ranked. Over a month maybe?
Afterwards, hit Nicah’s w my sister and Jenna and made food and lit the hookah. Friends came through to drink and had a fun pregame. We were just gonna stay in and chill but then decided on Johnnie Walker. We kinda figured everyone else would be going as well since everyone was at Noto Thurs and Friday night. We were right.
Johnnie was packed and mad friends came through. We were 30 something deep and just had a lot of fun dancing everywhere tho l got sweaty fast. Nicah got pretty lit and l like how she dances like a complete whore lol. Just had a really good time being there w everyone and pced out at closing. Made shrimp fried rice afterwards and smoked hookah till 4am before going to sleep.
Sunday got up and hit house showings w Mike and Sam. Saw some potential and there’s 2 we’re gonna really keep our eye on. Had a fun time showing w them and hit home to do work while watching Hitman’s Bodyguard on the side. Ended the night playing a lot of Street Fighter V and God of War.
