lm not saying to turn a church girl into a drug dealer but l just mean what people do under temptation is interesting. Its interesting to just see how people think and what an 'innocent' person would do given the chance. Also l just get annoyed when people brag about how noble they are when IF they were given opportunity, they may not do what they brag themselves to be. Bragging in general. Announcing to the whole world you donated money and did a good thing and making sure everyone knows you volunteer and stuff..... ughh it drives me sick. l prob sound like a dick but whatever. If you do something good, good for you but the second you want everyone to tell you how great of a person you are for it... youre just a dbag.
l've been cranky lately.
Tues l kept playing Mortal Kombat X since Monday night and watched my roomates Brown and Joss go to work at 9am lol. Yooo.... if l find time to play.... lm playing a lot. Playing for 1-2 hours is just a tease and 2nd... any competitive game, its pointless to play for such little time and learn very little in general. SteveC and ScottD and a few others are into the game to talk about it w. Sub-Zero Cryomancer seems to be my guy but lm not 100% set yet. Kenshi interests me a lot.
Slept all day and got up later and met up w Long to pick up money to pay out all the organizations, promoters and gogo dancers and also just to talk about DNA and just talk about stuff in general. We got ramen at this ramen spot not too far from his place that was mad good. Checked out his new restaurant location and lm really happy for him and hype when it opens up. Promoting that place will be just as important in the future. On our way back, we stopped by Yakitori Boy and met another one of the owners and GM and hung out w them for a while. Saw friends come through and caught up and also may have a new potential client of a friend of one of the guys l met.
Hit back and took care of my work b4 passing out.
Weds got up early and took care of some work but l've been very good keeping my work load light just being ontop of stuff. Watching Sub-Zero combos and its crazy how much l need to learn and be able to react too but lm still not sure if he will be my guy and how serious l plan to take this game. It is fun figuring everything out tho. Quickest punish, quickest punish using 1 meter, max damage punish, max damage punish using 1 meter, best long range punish, best long range punish using 1 meter. The thing about Netherrealm games is that its competitive popularity lasts about 2 yrs. Its kinda rough to commit to something so hard knowing it wont be around in 2017 when lm so use to something like Ultra Street Fighter 4 which has been still the #1 competitive fighting game since 2009. In a way... taking a break from competitive gaming and playing 'for fun' games wouldnt be bad since lm so busy w work lately and when l(hopefully) close on all these friends who are looking, maybe l'll have more time to take things serious again. Ontop of really taking Magic the Gathering Modern format more serious... aorighaoirhgaoirhgaoirhgaoihrga.... its such a game of time management and l've always loved having my days full of stuff but now its a game of keep up.
So got my oil change and me and SteveC hit up my office to print proxy Magic the Gathering cards lol. Steve felt so awkward as other agents were around as we're printing out Magic cards lol. Hi SteveC.... you ctrl+F faggot lol. So me and him got burgers at Red Robin to go and hit back to cut up new decks, eat and smoke hookah and play. Def a really really fun weds. Built this new crazy deck idea of just control w fat ass creatures. Breslin and AlexL came through too and the 4 of us just played a lot of Magic the Gathering. Steve trying to get me to check out Legacy but ahhh lm still learning whats typical in Modern. The reason me and Steve get along so well is that he takes gaming serious too and does multiple games like l do. Glad AlexL came through and lm gonna keep dragging him out. Always a chill guy l've known from Vee's family and l always knew he gamed too. Full night of Magic was really nice.
Thurs slept alllllllllllllllll day and got up for house showings w Esteban and Joe. Checking out a variety of areas to give them an idea of what their money get them in different areas. Joking and catching up about what we been up too and its crazy how many of my old party friends become clients lol. Funny how Partying was actually an investment for my future because of all the friends l've made over the years who now use me as an agent. For my future, l must keep partying lol. But for real..... if lm always out, l meet people who will one day be buying a home. After house showings w them, l had house showings w Weili and Emily. Checked out a spot but not so hot. Next up, more work. Got EmilyD and checked out Sweet Endings to do some scouting for a friend. Not sure about its size... its so small but yea, we'll see. Lol lm dumb.
Ended the night playing Mortal Kombat X all night lol. Ok l swear... l dont have much time to game. But l guess this past week l did lol.
Friday morning when l was still playing Mortal Kombat X, Billy hits me up asking to see houses soon lol. Oh man...... so it was like 1030am and l was gonna go to bed soon but yolo. lm an awesome agent so l booked the homes and stayed awake to see homes w him and checked out a ton. Saw some potential and was pretty tired on the road but not at a dangerous level. Trust me... driving tired is very very dangerous but when it comes to being able to work/party off no sleep/food.... lm quite a champion. l know its not good for me but its good to know that if l need to get something done, l can. Besides.... l should be awake to see homes midday normally anyway... not sleeping lol.
Afterwards.... l slept lol. So only slept 330pm-730pm and got up and took care of my guestlist and hit up pregame at Weili/Emily's. Sameer joined me and Brown to come out as he's back for 3 weeks and l rarely get to see Sameer when he is home. Its always been like that because me and him are very similar and usually have our weekends figured out. Big pregame and had fun gambling tho somehow AdamZ was winning all the money in Yolo Poker. But all the times he lost lol.... l guess its karma. Very fun times as always at pregame as its always a mini party. l always joke how we seem like the 'bad asians' cause we're just drinking smoking and gambling.
Next stop Rumor and got our squad together. More friends met up w us there and had a nice group of 17 friends total. So we just ran around room to room dancing and acting dumb. The music was on and off in each room so we kept adjusting to if we liked what the DJ was playing. lm glad as the weather is getting better, more friends are coming out again. Its nice to go squadron deep. When you're surrounded by friends on the dance floor, its really just the best feeling to let loose and act silly. Partied till 2am and afterwards, me Brown Sameer and Emily got food at David's and got a bunch of food family style and stuffed face. Got a fortune cookie that rephrased the night lol.
Sat got up and brought Emily back home to start. Next up, my office to print out more Magic the Gathering Proxies. Followed that up w getting the Big Dinner Box from Pizza Hut and then Steve came by to hookah and cut cards. We played some Magic as more of the guys showed before it was party time. Rich got me a selfie stick for my birthday. Thank you Rich!! Its fun to wave around and pull apart and put back together. Had fun playing Magic w the guys but then people started showing up to party lol.
So party time and def had the best party we held at Brown's new place. l think a lot has to do w the weather. So it was pretty much Beer Pong and tons of drinks in the kitchen/dining room. Mortal Kombat X in the living room and hookah outback. So just a lil above 50 people total came through. For not throwing a college 'rager' w 3 kegs and jungle juice and us being 29 yrs old.... l feel 50 people is still a very good turn out. So tons of the typical party squad came out. Friends from Brown/Joss' workplace and just other friends of friends made it out.
ALL MY FRIENDS LOVE MY BUSINESS IDEAS FIRST OFF but l gotta be careful to copyright it. l really do have a lot of good crazy ideas that l have no idea where to start, no equity to invest and no time to even work on it lol. One day.... l will yolo one of my ideas. Anyway, l knew Mortal Kombat X would be a fun lil hit in the living room as everyone can button smash and play each other for fun. Beer Pong and shots in the kitchen/dining room was pretty much the big drinking area and outback was to cool off and hookah. Party went from 9-3am ish. Its funny how all house parties, nothing really happens if you really think about it but its just a really good time to socialize w tons of friends. Ended the night stuffing face w chips and dip and smoking hookah w the few straglers that came through. We go clubbing quite a lot and just having a good house party night is much more rare now that we're older but lm glad everyones not too busy or too cool to still come out. House party options were every Friday and Sat 17-25 and it was a matter of picking where you wanted to go. And tho its not like that anymore.... lm glad its still happening as if we were 10 yrs younger lol.
Sunday slept late and then got up and had house showings w Billy and Lien and their family. Relooked at some places and it was a good time chilling w them as always. Afterwards, played some Killing Floor 2 w Scumbag Squad. The first one was dumb fun and its still what l need right now. A 'for fun' game. And tho.... its not exactly my thing.... playing w the guys makes it fun. If l were to play it alone, l just wouldnt play it. Playing w the guys and freaking out together is what makes it fun like most games that arent fun to play alone. Def had a lot of fun playing and until work dies down a bit, l dont really have the time to take a game TOO serious right now. lm just doing Mortal Kombat X when l have time but still havent TRULY decided on my Main. Kenshi - Balanced, is a possibility.
Later, Vicky stopped by to pick up some things and talk for a bit. Yeaaaaaaaaa..
Afterwards, ended up staying up all night slowly taking care of work stuff and other bullshit l like to do late night like catch up on Fighting Game news on Shoryuken.com and Eventshubs.com.
Monday still was up from Sunday and also watched a fair amount of Daredevil. Sooooo good. l love how all these new Superhero shows arent corny w the costumes and the names being so 'To the comic' and rather people are more known by their normal name and wear altered clothing rather than colorful spandex ya know?
Got mad groceries and slept during the day time like a vampire. Ended the day w some Killing Floor 2 w the Scumbag Squad lol. Def a good time just playing w friends as always. Its straight forward, its social and its crazy how a video game being $20 or being $60 can entertain me for so many hours. Always a good investment.
Tues slept all day from staying up late. Worked all afternoon and night as l kinda blew up my PC a bit in the morning spilling a full glass of water on it.... ughhhhEOAIGHOIERGHOSIRE.... but yea... just ate Taco Bell(thank you Joss for delivery) and did work in Brown's room and watched some Daredevil. We didnt cuddle but l bet it couldve happened if l wanted. He has yellow fever incase you arent friends w him on facebook.
Ended the night watching History Channel and reading up on gaming news and reading my Game Informer. l need to be informed!!
Weds hit up my office to meet up w Mary and her daughter to talk about a new program(that l really should be using) that will make organizing business easier. l write shit down on paper like crazy and screenshot on my phone every bit of work l have to take care of and for all the million of small things l have to do for work each week, l keep track of it pretty well.
Next up, finally got my haircut. l been looking sloppy for over a week as my timing to get my haircut has been off. l love getting my haircut. l feel just very clean knowing l look good again lol. Hit back to my place to pick up old pics. l was curious to look back and grabbed my Yearbooks and photos l took between 8th grade-freshmen yr of college. Physical photos. Really fun looking back w Brown and Joss.
SteveC came through and we smoked hookah and played some Mortal Kombat X going over Kenshi-Balanced. Def interesting and l enjoy him but l dont think he is too powerful. The best way to explain this game is that everyone has TONS OF CRAZY ABILITIES TO KILL and everyone is also wearing shorts and nothing else and totally vunerable to everything. Its highly offensive and defense options are simply - block high, block low, duck, backdash, EX move. This game is different than Injustice in that some things cover only up to 2 defensive options rather than sometimes up to 4 of the 5. The more lm playing it, the more lm getting it.
Later on started on Magic the Gathering and Breslin, Jay and Rich came through to play. Had a full night playing Magic and it was a good time. Messing w my Affinity deck as usual. Still loving it and thinking bout making tweaks. l actually plan to buy up all cards and all tweak varitations l may want to do for the sake of having options. Deciding on tweaks based on metagame is massively important entering any tournament and if something becomes popular and theres tweaks to be made, l want to have the cards to do it and not have to adjust to what l did and did not buy. Money shouldnt be a factor in my tournament results.
Anyway, got some good practice in and we really need to start playing w sideboards in since thats 2 of the 3 games in a tournament. Glad the guys came through def tho.
Worked on my dead PC and it was back alive but gfx card was dead lol.
Thurs morning had house showings w Jeni and her Mother and checked out a ton of homes in Montgomery County. Been a while since we did house showings lol as they were one of my first clients but went into saving mode since. Saw some homes but nothing too awesome. Spent the evening playing Mortal Kombat X and chilling and working on Kenshi. Afterwards, more house showings w Breslin and saw some potential options. Fun looking and was pretty beat from no sleep and early house showings.
Next got Emily and then we met up w Brown Hack SteveC Ryan Kev to see Avengers 2. Dope movie and fun watch but l guess the epicness of THE AVENGERS isnt there because its Avengers 2 ya know? Still good movie and all but it didnt have mad hype behind it. Good times being out w everyone tho.
Afterwards, me and Emily hit Giant and got mad fruit as we both eat very unhealthy lol. So we had a big mixed bowl of fruits and just stuffed face and it was good but more so mentally good that l eat fruits and vegs randomly rather than often. Great way to end the night lol.
Friday l wanted to be a bum but she was hype as it was her birthday yayyyyyaoih4goehrgoaihg.... so got up, ate a good breakfast and smoked hookah as it was nice out. Hit the Oxford valley mall to shop around for a lil bit and then Hmart, Rite Aid and Giant to get food and junk.
Later on took a nap and we kinda ended up passing out deep into the night lol. No partying for us lol. But our options werent anything too crazy anyway. So we got up and headed out to get food at Buffalo Wild Wings and stuffed face. Def a good meal and l love eating wings in general in so many ways.
Ended up relaxing and watching the First and some of the second Harry Potter. We are gonna run through all of them lol. l need to watch things back to back as time passing leave things in a blur and also... binge watching stuff is always fun. Its fresh and you get more out of it because there was no waiting between watching each episode or movie.
Sat got up and ate and took Emily back. Got back to the house and Josh and EricM came through. Set up hookah and me Brown Joss EricM and Josh smoked and chilled for a bit before Rita's party for the Mayweather Pacquiao Fight. Played some Mortal Kombat X and then we headed out to Rita's. So her place is getting ridiculously nice. They have just really really good taste. l mean, l guess if you shop around enough, you're eventually gonna find some mad cool shit. Its crazy how nice you can make a home.
So lit the hookah, put the beer in the fridge, ordered pizzas and started watching the fights. Made small bets on each fight as we all didnt know any of the fighters besides the main event. Stuffed face, had drinks and it was a good time to be set to watch something as a night. The only time l really do something similar is for the Super Bowl and thats it. The fights were ok to watch but yeaaaaa its kinda dry lol. Is it bad l wanna see someone get destroyed?! Won some money but gahhh the main event was not what l expected. Still a good night w food drinks hookah and friends. By the time we got out, it was too late to go to Coda. So hit back, played some Mortal Kombat X and me and Eric ate food and caught up a bit more. Glad he came out again. He better come out more.
Sunday got up early and hit up my office to get balloons and signs and set up an open house. Went well but sadly all people viewing had an agent. Still helped out and hopefully found a great buyer for my team. Got Pizza hut and hit back to eat and chill and Breslin came by to help install the GFX card he loaned me. Def awesome of him to do that for me. Now lm back to having duel monitors. 5 days w a single monitor was quite a pain.
Played Killing Floor 2 w Scumbag Squad. Fun having all our doors open as me Brown and Joss are all in the same game along w Matt Hack and Scott. Def fun playing and l like that the game is hard. Tho not that strategic. Its more so strategic in ammo conservation and knowing when to use grenades and not getting flanked. Played for a while and lm glad Joss and Brown are gaming more often now.
Spent the rest of Sunday night chilling and taking care of work. Sced house showings and sending out emails.
