Sup Guys, problem solving has been getting quicker as a whole.
A lot of real estate is just problem solving to get to closing. Event planning always has some bumps along the way before the actual event. Gaming in general is just problem solving in a fun way. And then there’s just life problems. I dunno if my attitude towards problem solving as a whole is just becoming more and more positive or what but l feel like… taking care of most problems is really faster than the expected time to solve it.You know how the hardest part of writing a paper is starting. And once you start, its not so bad. I kinda feel like its like that w pretty much everything. Not to dread it, procrastinate and all that shit and just get started. I’ll have 6 things l gotta handle. None of them will have an immediate time limit but should all be taken care of within the week. Then… all 6 can be knocked out in 3 hours. I think this is mostly due to me knocking out stuff in my ‘Real Estate to do’ and ‘Personal to do’ lists on my google docs. I fucking love google docs lol. Its just such a good ass feeling watching that list shrink. Getting so much done. Now the personal to do list is more… things l want to do rather than things l gotta take care of.
Lastly… within gaming. Just thinking out a problem is just getting faster and faster. Its kinda weird HOW fast some things can be solved.
In Street Fighter 6 esp, going into training room, l can knock out 12 questions in about 30 mins. Which is why l let questions pile up since when I do get in the zone of testing and answering questions, I get a lot done. No point situating myself to answer 2-4 questions. I'll analyze something reallllyy basic and take it to a deeper level. Like Why am I throwing a fireball right here? Do I belive, they're going to move forward, hit a button thats going to miss me, to annoy them by occupying space so they're more tempted to jump in or hard read and use an anti-fireball move, just to stop their Drive Gauge from regenerating. Its wild how something so basic can actually get mad deep.
In the Gundam Card Game. I actually dont play much online at all. First, l feel the same way as l did w Samurai Shodown. People online are sooo bad... there isnt exactly much learning. Kinda like hitting a punching bag. You're just going through the reps of hitting something lol. So when deck building and 'playing'... I do it in my head. Whats my answer to THIS at turn 5 when these are the possible big threats at turn 5. When does it make more sense to play the long game and when l should go greedy for the kill.
Lastly w Pokemon, l do the same thing but w my notes since Pokemon is part a massive ass knowledge check. I take pictures of opponents teams and later stare at them thinking... 'What was my opponent thinking when they saw my team' and 'how l would l handle this combination of 2 Pokemon leads if they started with this instead' or 'in this situation can l set up a win and win more situation rather than rely on a hard read to gain an advantage'.
There's 4 THINKING times that you really can just peaceful think. Driving, pooping, showering/taking a bath and before sleeping. I love those 4 times. I dont even mind long drives cause its an excuse to just get in the zone on a topic.

KK past 6 weeks of gaming, partying, gooning n shit.
3/16 Monday night, stayed up late. Going over the Street Fighter 6 balance patch notes and noting what was important into my match up notes. Noted a bunch of things to test out now. Nothing too crazy or overwhelming as Capcom wants to do a few more balance patches a year w less happening each patch. Rather than a once a year, sooo many changes to adapt to kinda system. I like this new system better. 1st it fixes anything too broken sooner rather than the player base dealing with it for a full year. 2nd its less overwhelming in smaller chunks to handle some changes every few months than a shit ton all at once, though once a year. Finally went to bed early morning after watching another episode of Fall Out season 2.
Tues got up and got Anita to get food. She suggested an indonesian spot in south philly and yooo southeast asian food l really think is becoming the best. Within that category you already got Vietnamese and Thai food. Malaysian food is really solid too. Im not hating on chinese and japanese food. Just with japanese food, its sushi and hibachi lol. Oh and some fish. Chinese food has a lot of diversity since the country is so big, you have different styles and stuff from different areas, sichuan food creeping to the top for chinese food for me… but yoo… Vietnamese food got pho. And all the southeast asian spots got spring rolls lol.
Anyway, ordered and shared a few plates and then our fatasses went to Matcha Panda Cafe lol. We left room to eat more though for real. Just had a good afternoon chilling around Philly w Anita. Glad we’re both not sick anymore too. Happy she’s motivated too for her future. Dropped off Anita and headed to Top Deck. Got there a bit early and tried out the new Blue Red Unicorn Damage Control. Will and Kailey said they were trying it out and its very meh. Cool when things happen the way you want it but the consistency of it is so so. In a card game and esp in Gundam where there is a lot of Burst luck, staying consistent is so important. Oh yea, games being Best of One also makes consistency so much more important. Got trashed by Asis and Kailey getting rushed down. Went 1 win, 2 losses with it. Mehh.. Gonna keep using it for a lil just for the hell of it. Not too long.
Hit home to get work done for a lil and then there was sooo much youtube on the Street Fighter 6 update. Ended up on a call w Shemmay for a bit, talking bout all sorts of junk and then made left overs. Ate, lit the hookah and watched youtube for a while on the Street Fighter 6 Balance Patch notes.
Weds got up late. MattK came over and lit the hookah. Just bummed for an hour till Asis came through and we could hit Kryptic for the Gundam tournament. Decided to go w the Blue Red Unicorn Damage Control deck one more time but overall… l def def like my Red White Gquux Blockers deck much more now. Still went 2 wins, 1 loss. Losing to Asis in the finals. Took 2nd of 11 players. Glad Asis got the wins the past 2 days. We stayed and played more games. Playing a few more games w Kai and talking bout the Regionals event. Hit home and played a few games w Asis. Made us spaghetti and meatballs to eat inbetween as l was starving. Ended up on a call w Shemmay bout these other real estate classes we gotta take online and yooo… its such a time sink. Its already enough to take the basic ass continuing education class every 2 years but that they added on all these other classes that is the same stuff every year.

I got it. Smoked hookah and chilled for a lil then headed upstairs to take care of the one ‘class’ l could take care of at the moment. All the rest are online live classes, scattered days and times that l gotta drop everything for. They can be on a weekday at 1pm or 4pm too. Its just a pain if something important falls on that time because this class is rare enough that missing it may be a bigger hassle to find later. Really not happy bout all this obviously lol.
Took care of other junk after the class and stayed up all night.
Thurs morning still up, 6am finding food, smoking hookah and watching some youtube. Played some Street Fighter 6. Small Luke changes but good ones. Just things to remember. Pretty much if I’m combo’ing the opponent in the corner off something simple, after ending w a L Flash, I can L DP for extra damage that changes a 20% combo to bout a 25% combo. Enough that it matters. Played a ton of matches online and then headed out to get Anita and Binh.
Got to their place and chilled for a lil and then took them to the airport. These girls are always flying lol. Got my haircut in Chinatown. Thank you Happy for the amazing cut and then just saw Edwin right outside by chance. I mean, XOX Lounge is literally across the street. Caught up for a while then got bubble tea at Tiger Sugar. Hit home to smoke and watch more of the Street Fighter 6 Balance Patch then slept finally in the afternoon.
Got up later to hit The Lab and oh man l suck lol. I went 0-5 in the Round Robin. I did have last hit final round, final game, set point moments going 3-2 in the Best of 5 but overall. 0 wins, 5 losses. Also we did a fun Alex Only Tournament for the release of Alex. Usually l get really into these and do well in the new DLC character Only Tournament but l didnt touch Alex and just went 1-3. Lit the hookah, snacked on beef jerky and chips and just had a really good time sitting and talking w friends between matches. I really like the just hang out time w them each week. I just like talking lol. Hung out till 1am and then hit home. Me and Jeremiah watched some youtube and smoked hookah.
Hit upstairs to do real estate work. Preparing for my Open House the coming Sunday for one of my listings and getting stuff together for another one of my listings coming up. Late night into Fridaay, more food, youtube, hookah and Street Fighter 6 till 9am lol. Had to just beat someones ass to feel better bout myself. Found an Alex player where l got a lot of games in to learn the matchup. Alex is crazy damage but we’ll see how he shapes up to be long term.
Friday finally slept early morning. Did this on purpose. The whole fucking up my sleep sced cause l knew l’d be up late Friday night for Wes’ birthday. Got up in the late afternoon and got my eyebrows did(girls told me it looked good so l keep doing it), got gas, got liquor. Hit home for a hookah, 3 lobster tails w melted butter and youtube and then hit NYC.
Got Mango and we hit pregame at Kirsten’s. Thanks for hosting Kirsten. Happy Birthday Wes!!!! So pregame was mad fun. Found my sister and other friends. I do miss partying w this squad. I’ve been so MIA from NYC lately. It is a bit of a hike sometimes. Caught up w Jenn who l havent seen in years. Played some beer pong but me and my sister, then me and David lost to Matty and his friend aruighaiorhgioarhgaiorhg… Saw more friends like Abe, Carolyn, Red and others l met at past pregame-club nights. Also good seeing David, Matty and Grace too. Started w soju but l dunno why…. I just grabbed tequila and started pouring shots. This was it was changed the night. So, l ended up drinking a lot by accident. At pregame l mixed up some people thinking they were my friends from Philly. ‘Did you mistake me for someone else?’ so keep that noted.
Got to the club. Got drinks and ran around. Met some more people from Mango. Mango is always w good looking girls, def a good friend to have. Its so easy to meet girls. Let Mango introduce me. Life is so good lol. At the bar, l saw this girl, thought it was the same girl that l mixed up earlier at pregame. Turns out, her and her boyfriend are 2 totally random people. I mixed up asians again…. Laughed bout it though and chilled w them for a lil. Ran around the dance floor w friends for a lil then back to the table to socialize and then found Mango again. Mango and Jenny wanted to swing by another spot to see friends. Went to some other spot, l dunno what it was called. Met some people who were serious dancers and talked bout the competitive hip hop/bboy scene from the past and how allstyle battles changed a lot and junk. Lost Jenny and Mango. Ended up in the women’s bathroom. Ran outside w Jenny’s fur coat to take a photo shoot and then by chance saw Marium! First time seeing her in forever. Caught up a lil before Jenny and Mango found me. Mango said she should drive… and yea l had to let her drive for sure. Got back to her place and just passed out hard.
Sat slept all day. Got up late and ate, chilled w Mango and Maddy as they played Split Fiction and Mango let me borrow some of Chris’ clothes for the next event l had, since my white polo was stained and l didnt realize it. Thank you guys!! Glad l got to spend a good amount of time w Mango again too as l havent gotten to chill w her as much since she left Philly.
Got Allison and hit up Jasmine’s birthday. Happy Birthday Jasmine!! So was taking a selfie w Jasmine when a girl asked if l wanted her to take the pic and l knew l knew her for a reason besides seeing her before and remembered CindyL messaged me that she was her sister from a previous picture l posted a long time ago. Met Jenny and Harvey and chilled w them a lot of the night. Ran around, doing shots, meeting mostly new people. Some old friends came through too and glad l got to catch up. Of course Jasmin is still making food for us. The sushi and pizza combo was amazing. Also the person making the mix drinks was really good. It didnt taste like there was any alc in it at all, which can be dangerous. Met some people through Allison too. Glad to be there for Jasmin’s birthday and really happy for her for her success and squad she made in NYC. I def wanna do another poker night w her and her friends. I know its tough getting a poker squad together. Everytime l did Poker w her and her friends though, l had mad fun.
Afterwards, took Allison back and also glad l got to spend time w Allison for 2 nights. I use to visit her a consistent once a month. Plus there was always something going on. As long as she’s good, lm doing just fine.
Drove home but first hit my office for the open house package and then hit home. Got home late. Smoked hookah and watched youtube and then slept really late.
Sunday got up and did my Open House for Danny. Got there w some people already checking it out early. Afterwards, hit Giant to get mad food and hit home to clean up the house a bit more for Gundam night. 330pm till 330am again… just made friends coming over for Gundam. Jasper made a huge noodle dish and yooo… it fed so much people. Thank you man. Also awesome that KeithM came through and brought his friend Dom. First time hanging out w Keith in forever. Helped him build a Blue White The-O deck which is a solid deck. A bit complex so he’s not just playing mindlessly. And its also a competitive deck, within the Top 3 or Top 5 of the Meta in my opinion. More friends started to come through later in the day and just had a good time hosting and playing games. Hookah was lit, plenty of drinks, food and snacks for everyone. Everyone was meeting and playing everyone. Just a really solid fun night. I do need to do it on a sat night so more people can make it out.
Late night, got Anita from the airport and got 4am Tacos in South Philly, catching up on everything. Im glad lve been chilling w Anita and Binh a lot more again as l feel like l was MIA from them for a lil bit too. Thinking of all my groups, outside of my gaming groups - Philly FGC and Gundam Squad, l have been pretty MIA from a lot of other friends.
Me and Anita stuffed face at a spot and yooo so good to be eating legit tacos. Dropped her off close to 5am and hit home to hookah and youtube before passing out.
3/23 Monday got up late and just worked on a ton of stuff all night. Some work, some gaming notes and finally got hungry at 9pm lol. Was craving hot dogs again and made hot dogs and lit the hookah. Watched 3 eps of Copenhagen Test w Jeremiah and some youtube on Pokemon Champions. Very hype to get back into Pokemon VGC (official tournament standard being doubles) and dive into the mindgames of Pokemon Doubles. Its just very clever. Took a break and bummed for a bit and then later on back to more videos on Pokemon Champions. Stayed up late chilling.
Tues got up late, lit the hookah and watched a lil youtube before hitting Top Deck for the tournament. Didnt do so hot, going 1 win, 2 losses gahhhh lol it happens. Good hanging w the Gundam Squad for a while.
Afterwards, headed out to get congee from Yi Jin Rice Roll. Im not a big rice roll person. I retried in there not too long ago. But yo, their congee is solid. Got congee for me and Anita. Anita got sick again. Swung by Anita’s to chill for a lil. Just eating congee and talking bout whatever. Hit home to bum w hookah and youtube and then late night got a lot of work done. Was mad productive, up all night. Its just sooo good to work on whatever with NO DISTRACTIONS late night. Multitasking just isnt a good thing to be doing. Sure everyone thinks they’re a good multitasker but its better to get in the zone on something and get a lot done.
Late night focused on Pokemon lol. Dude… I went in. Just 8 hours of watching videos, working on my team with ChatGPT, understanding some stuff a lil better and really zero’ing in on certain moves and strategies to see all the options to stop it. There’s always something MORE to learn ya know? There was a good amount of ‘ohhhh l never thought of doing that’ moments. Noted everything cause you guys know how l am w note taking. You guys should see my Pokemon Champions Google Doc.
Weds just still up working on Pokemon till 2pm… Dude.. l got so much done. Im very happy w how much l learned. Slept at 2pm but then woke up at 530pm as MattK came over. Cause lm such a good friend, l got up and chilled w Matt for a while. Hookah food and youtube for a few hours cause Matt loves me. Later on Gabe got me an Incineroar lol. Thank you homie. Worked on my to do list notes for a while and then late night, lit the hookah and watched youtube on Pokemon and Street Fighter 6. Mostly anti Alex tech.
Thurs got up early. Got Anita and dropped her off at the mall before getting Chloe. Got slurpees cause theyre so damn good and it was so hot out. Dropped her off at the airport and then hit Zack and Marisa’s for poker w the squad. Got snacks by the grocery store close by. Had a solid group as some of Zack’s family joined along w other friends. Yooo l couldnt get a hand. Fold or play, it was just all trash for so long lol. Later on, started to make a come back but ran outta time before getting back to neutral. Mad fun times w everyone tho and thank you guys for the food!! Also just good spending time w them as l havent got to chill w them in a while now. Got home to eat hookah youtube combo all night.
Friday still up from Thurs as l thought l wouldnt wake up in time to get Anita to drop off to the airport. Got McDonalds and just took it easy w the food youtube hookah combo. Slept at 1230pm lol.
Sat got up at 2am and was up all night working on Pokemon. Played some Resident Evil 9 again on Insanity mode with no infinite ammo. At 11am hit Top Deck for the Gundam tournament ST09 event. This event, we got the Elite Starter Deck 09 which the deck is Purple, White and Red. I decided to just stick w Purple White after a few days ago looking over everything.
Sitting w Kai(Advant), he said ‘open the Freedom LR+ so l can buy it from you’. I misplaced my Paid Slip and got passed over when receiving decks and then the dude next to me saw it and told me. So I got my deck late and in a different order. Opened the Freedom LR+. Dude… it was fate lol. Sold it to Kai for $100. The way l see it, l shouldnt even have it but a mistake got it to me. Plus Kai really wanted it so yoo.. I’ll take the $100 l was fated to get lol. Then l won the event. 4 wins, 0 losses. So I rocked 8 pilots, 4 bases and yooo it was just smoooth. Just mad low units, a nice curve. Getting my links as l needed them… 4 games in a row. Of course, l had to still play it right but it was a very solid edge to have the hands l had. Took 1st place outta 20 players. Got the EX Base Winner’s Card worth $240 but the price dropped harshly since. Also got the EX Base promo which are all around $50-$70. Dude… mad fun day lol. Just wins all around. Kai also went 4 wins, 0 losses and got the other EX Base Winner’s Card and EX Base promo.
Afterwards, hit house showings w Angie and Holly and saw a spot w potential but needed some things to work with. Good seeing them again and then hit Harvest to get burgers and then hit home to eat hookah and youtube. Working on gaming notes, mostly on Pokemon and slept late. I was up for a lil over 24 hours.
Sunday got up mad late. Hit Philly Game Shop for the Gundam ST09 tournament and tried to win again lol. Went 3 wins, 1 loss, losing in the final match gahhhhh it woulda been so dope to win twice. All 4 Starter Deck Events, I entered 2 of them and always win 1 of the 2. I cant complain though winning one of each and having a 50% tournament win rate at Starter Deck events. Im just a well rounded fundamental player lol. No but seriously, l kinda am :dusts off shoulders: <- am I old? Took 3rd of 30 players. Good hanging w Asis, Ming and Jimmy along w a lot of the Philly/NJ players. Watching other matches while l was done my matches, just talking bout future cards and the current Starter Deck we were using. Mad fun.
Hit home to eat the other Harvest burger, hookah and watch youtube w Jeremiah for a while. Later on SteveC came down to watch Dexter and Daredevil. Afterwards, organized allll these Gundam cards l got over the last 2 days into their places and then hit upstairs to work on my notes for a while. Just getting small stuff taken care of… or just putting my screenshot notes into my actual Personal To Do and Real Estate To Do notes lol. Later on, cleaning up my new Pokemon notes into the new Google Doc l’ve been working on. Nice to have everything, new clean and organized. This one labeled Pokemon Champions. The old notes have soooo much that may not apply to Champions so l figured l’d make a fresh one. Plus there’s so much more now l never thought of adding, category wise. Ended up staying up mad late chilling.
3/30 Monday got up to MattK waking me up to chill. Hit down to smoke hookah and chill w him and later on Jeremiah and SteveC joined the bum session. We made food later on and then played some Gundam w SteveC. Glad he’s back though he’s just kicking my ass right off the rip. Wtf… He build the Blue White The-O deck and his version just beats my ass. He also was interested in the Blue Red Midrange Control deck which l built and he was beating my ass w that too. Afterwards, me and SteveC finished up Dexter Resurrection. So fucking good. Crazy how Dexter came back over the last few years w New Blood, Original Sin and Resurrection. Late night got Anita from the airport from her trip. Hit home to bum late night.
Tues got up late and just got to Top Deck in time for the tournament. Sadly didnt do so hot, going 1 win, 2 losses. Quick games and good spending time w the squad. Right from there, hit Newark airport to get Chloe and bring her back. Lots of driving. Got Wawa on the way home and bummed late night. Just stuffed face, hookah and youtube. Later Jeremiah joined me to finish up The Copanhagen Test which l really liked. Stayed up all night playing Resident Evil 9 Insanity w no infinite ammo and yooo… this game is mad fucking hard. Until you get the blood collector to make ammo, ammo is REALLY scarce. After you can make ammo, its still really hard but you can be a lil loose w the shooting.
Weds still up, watching youtube and smoking hookah. SteveC came down and as l was going to go to sleep, he convinced me to play more Gundam lol. We ended up playing Gundam for a while and chilling all day. Making food, watching videos on Gundam and bumming. Finally went to bed at 430pm
Thurs woke up at 330am. Just took care of my notes, watching youtube on the side. Sent out listings to friend’s looking to buy, organized notes of my friends on what they still need to do for real estate classes. Jenna, Ngoc and Shemmay all joined our real estate team over the past few years, just making sure they’re good and up to date. Organized my shit coming in, food l need to buy, errands l need to do. I cut my notes or cleaned my notes really well. I like having my shit written down so l dont have to worry bout remembering ya know what l mean?
And it looks clean.
630am, figured out food, flipped on youtube and lit the hookah. Re9 insanity. Brown dunkin chill. My house hookah YouTube. Brown joins me running errands drop off mail. Bjs. Dominos. Eat watch scream 7 w Jeremiah and brown.
Hit upstairs to take care of mad real estate work all day. Later on MattK and Amy came through to chill for a lil. Just bumming. Ended up sleeping early since l got up so early.
Friday got up in the afternoon. Food hookah youtube combo and then later decided to hit Top Deck for Gundam w Asis. 1 win, 2 losses gahh lol. Back home for more food hookah youtube and then got back on Resident Evil 9 for Insanity mode. Game is so fucking fun. Watched some more youtube, bummed on my pc and then did the food hookah youtube combo one more time till early morning.
Sat still up bumming. Just slothed till 2pm, studying Pokemon and Gundam on youtube. Passed out at 2pm and got up at 10pm. Stayed up all night working on Resident Evil 9. Finally beat it on Insanity difficulty again but this time, no infinite ammo. Chilled into Sunday morning bumming on my PC.
Sunday still up, l hit Gundam Kitchen for the Newtype Challenge tournament. I went 4 wins, 1 loss, making into the Cut to Top 8. Within Top 8, it was Best of 3 with sideboard, but l didnt have one lol. I was so outta it, I totally forgot to think of making one. I beat my last 3 opponents - winning my first Newtype Challenge tournament. Very happy I finally did it. Had a crazy close one against Ryan(Moopie) who took 2nd. Got the Lockon Top 4 card and the Dynames Newtype Winner Card. Also got $60 in store credit. We take those.
By the time l was getting out, it was too late to make it to Philly Gameshop for their Newtype Challenge tournament. Asis made it over there though and got another Top 4 which lm happy bout.
Picked up Anita and she suggested dry pot which l dont think l ever had. Yooo, its insanely good. I just wish l loaded up more. The sauces is what really finished up the dish. Next we hit Hey Yogury for yogurt bubble tea. We were thinking of a more sit down dessert place but we were pretty stuffed. Good chilling w Anita as she’s always down to chill. I kinda wanna hit Hmart and see if l can make dry pot at home. Just make a big batch and eat it throughout the day. I need more money so l can just move into Chinatown and just eat really good all the time.
Hit home and Matt Amy and Jeremiah were just chilling. Bummed w them in the living room for a lil before finally passing out cause l was up so long.
4/6 Monday got up late and met up w my Mom and Grandma for a day early birthday dinner. We got Thai food close by and stuffed face. I really think slowly, Southeast Asian Food is now my overall favorite food. When categorizing, l feel like you either go by individual countries or you break down by region. As a whole, southeast asian is just really damn solid. Viet, Thai, Malaysian, Cambodian, Filipino. Got my fav soup of all time, Lemon Grass Tom Yum Soup. So damn good. Thank you for taking me out to dinner. Good to catch up w family and then hit home. Matt came through to hookah and chill.
Later on got a lot of shit done upstairs and played BrianP a lot in Gundam on the Mobilesuitarena website. He’s using Blue/Purple Plurple Aggro and l brought up the regional winner deck list that just past. He input that deck list and yooo - he started beating my ass lol. Good playing w Brian and then bummed on my pc more before hitting downstairs to eat hookah youtube again.
Tues yayy my birthday. I dunno, usually l celebrate it multiple times w different groups but there was just a lot going on every weekend and l was feeling lazy on planning. I just kept my actual birthday mega chill. Also.. the birthday messages. Thank you all for the messages guys. I love attention lol.
Bummed and later on hit Top Deck w Asis. 2 wins, 1 loss, taking 5th of 12 player. We got chicfilla on the way back. Hit back to my place to just chill and eat w Asis and Jeremiah. Late night, me and Jeremiah played Pokemon allll night into weds lol. Mad chill, mad fun lol.
Weds still up, got Binh from the airport and dropped her off. This squad always be flying. Or atleast it feels like that. Caught up in the car ride back. Got home to obsess and play Pokemon all day. Later on Brown and MattK came over to chill all afternoon. Straight up bumming and talking bout tons of stuff. Ended the night w some more Pokemon before finally passing out before midnight. Pokemon kinda got me obsessed.
Thurs got up early and just got on Pokemon w Jeremiah…. All damn day lol. So we were going in on it and got into the zone hardcore. Just playing w my team, tag teamming what l’d choose and then later on playing w his team. Its just mad fun to play w a friend. Its also just cheating by using 2 brains on the game. We literally played all day and night. Oh l did do some real estate work inbetween.
Friday started the day w mad work calls. W the 2 new listings and potential buyers, things are picking up again finally this spring. Afternoon did a lil Pokemon Champions and hookah w Jeremiah and then headed out to Barclay Prime. Shemmay wanted to take me out for my birthday and wanted to do it big. We hit Barclay prime and had a really nice meal and yoo the venue is super nice. But the seating was my fav part. Oh and picking up a knife was fun too lol. Got some appetizers and steaks. Had fun doing a lil photoshoot in the venue lol. She did wanna kill me when l asked the waiter for a pic and he took it over another 2 people eating. They laughed but Shemmay wanted to kill me lol. Sorry!! Dinner was banging and my steak was really good. Just wish I coulda had more but yooo… this place is mega fancy. Thank you for the really nice birthday dinner Shemmay. I appreciate it.
Afterwards hit home and played Pokemon Champions lol. I went fucking in. Mike came through too to bum. Jeremiah was w me and we worked on both my team and his team on games and team building. Pokemon is this never ending puzzle that everyone still tries to ‘figure out’. Ended the night w some youtube.
Sat got up and early and did more Pokemon w Jeremiah and Mike. Allison and Eric swung by as Allison was showing Eric Philly for the weekend. Always good to see my sister, even if its for a lil. Later on, had people for Gundam all night. Big Gundam training night. Tons of friends made it over. People brought mad drinks and had all tables filled. Introduced people best l could and just got in mad games. In general, just nice having our Gundam community together for hours together in a more chill environment. Of course, at locals, people will give advice and stuff after a game is over. But at a house, advice is given more often midgame since this, to me and most others anyway, is just training and learning. When you’re only playing people in tournament, they’re not gonna help you out till maybe after the game is over and there’s def more to go over if you do it midgame. RyanW came by too to chill. Ended up doing a bunch of shots cause the Kryptic hoods are always like that lol.

Sunday got up early for some reason. Hit Top Deck for the Newtype Challenge tournament and went 3 wins, 1 loss, taking 6th of 20 players. Hit back home to chill w the house. Kristine was making strawberry lemonade soju cocktails and yooo they were banging. Thanks for the Pocket Sand magnet and sticker Jeremiah lol. The thing w Pocket Sand is… Luke’s fireballs in Street Fighter is ‘Sandblaster’ which is pretty much ‘Pocket Sand’. No idea why the UFC like fighter is throwing sand but l love that fireball lol. Took it easy all afternoon w Jeremiah, Bianca, Mike, Kristine and Mike. Later on Ryan came through and we rewatched Predator Badlands. Its a solid fun movie and l always gotta watch movies like that twice to really let it sink in. Afterwards, passed out early.
4/13 Monday got up early and worked on real estate for a while. Made a nice breakfast and took it easy for a lil. Hit Office Max to laminate the matchup typing chart from Pokemon cause its so annoying constantly unlocking my phone, going to photos, finding the photo, clicking and then zooming when l need to double check something. Trust me… l know it seems ‘extra’ but its not. Its saving me time. Got Taco Bell and took it easy in the evening w some real estate work here and there. Pokemon ranked matches later on and then in the afternoon, AlexL and MattK came through to chill. Alex got me a ton of sushi for my birthday lol. Thank you Alex. Was nice to go in on sushi and chill. Later on we watched this action movie on Netflix Humint… but there was over a full hour of NO ACTION in the movie. The action was great when there was action but dude… over an hour… the plot wasnt that crazy that we cared lol.
Later on played JustinJ in Pokemon and beat him 2-1 then played Asis and lost to him 3-5… HOW THE FUCK Asis so good when he’s NEW TO DOUBLES… I gave him a link to my google docs and l know he watches mad videos but still… 3-5 on the first night playing against each other. Ended the night by going in on Pokemon Champions ranked w Jeremiah’s Team. Fun tag teamming his game till 7am.
Tuesday hit Shemmay’s and we were undecided what to eat. Ended up w Honeygrow and yooo… l cant make it at home the way they do it. I really try to cook a lot of stuff l really like so l can eat it whenever l want and also to save on costs but Honeygrow is just something to buy. We stuffed face and hit back to her place to work on real estate stuff for a while. Im glad she cleaned up her desktop. My OCD was going nuts. Her IG compared to her life its deceiving. Got a bunch done and then headed to Top Deck for Gundam. Went 2 wins, 1 loss, my classic lol.
Got home to clean, eat, smoke and watch youtube on Pokemon Champions for a while. Did work upstairs for a while and then late night ended w more food hookah and youtube.
Thurs got up and got picked up by Dave. We got Kia(Advant) and hit Norfolk VA to our air bnb. Thank you Dave for driving, kinda, he has a Tesla and was playing Gundam w Kia in the car on mobilesuitarena lol. And thank you Kia for setting up the air bnb and putting together the work. Tho it was a 5.5 hour drive, it went pretty fast. I napped part of it. We just had really good conversations. That long ass bridge was also cool to drive on. The view was just nice. Got to the airbnb, settled in and played Gundam. Just straight up chilling and snacking. Cooked some chicken, thank you ChatGPT. Watched youtube and hung out late. Had a hard time sleeping though w the traffic noise tho.
Friday got up at 1pm. Took a shower, figured out lunch and just bummed w everyone all day and all night. Later on, tons of friends made it through. Def nice to spend time together in a nice airbnb, playing games and being sloths. Nothing crazy. Rell making people drink Jack Daniels and yooo… no joke, cause of Rell, lm actually able to handle Jack a lot better lol. We prob shouldnt be drinking before a big tournament. But Rell truly dont give af.
Sat got up and we hit Gundam Regionals. Traded in my Top4 Lockon and U+ Show of Resolve for a Top4 Haman. I wanted it forever. Found mad friends. Also found Joe and Raks and caught up w them. Tournament time… blahhh dude… l had a really close game but lost my 1st game. The burst RNG was so not on my side. I got one burst, a single close combat at the very last shield… ughh.. Game 2, again, bursting Improved Techniques on my Rick Dias right off the bat and other burst shit but somehow l still pulled out a win. Also, he busted all my shields, 0 bursts. Dudeee…. 3rd game, against Blue/Purple Plurple Aggro. Got ran over, only got 1 burst being a close combat for my 5th shield. The RNG was just not helping. A single Striker Pack burst makes SUCH a difference.
Welp 1-2. Dropped and wanted to maximize prizing from side tournaments. So when they had 8man tournaments… They had a 8manA and 8manB… its literally ONLY those 16 people… theres over 600 people here. Yea, most are still in the tournament but 16 people is nothing. Me Kailey and Ryan(Moopie) got in and got another event pack and world champion pack. Then when we sat, l brought up a screenshot of how we were suppose to get 2 event packs for participating and got us all another 2 lol. So instead of 1 event pack that we shoulda got, we got 3 event packs and a world champion pack. Ok… the swindling was making it worth it. Got that EX Resource l wanted really bad thats price has been ranging between $90-$140. Kailey was beating ass in side tournaments. By the end of the weekend, she was 9 wins, 2 losses… and got 3 EX resources!! Asis Dave Brandon(Bunnichi) and Justin were all doing really well. Brandon eventually came in 9th place outta 600+ players. Very happy for him. I know he really works hard at it.
Me on the other hand, lm stealing swiss cheese for me and Moopie when the burger vendor wasnt looking, waiting in line for another side tournament for 3 hours and plotting how to weasel out more event packs and world champion packs lol. The event itself though, kinda disorganized. Some of the judges were dicks from stories l was hearing and there was some hardcore people trying to snake wins by technicalities by trying to get their opponent disqualified however they could. Scum players… l never ran into that in our scene in South Jersey/Philly. I get this is a Regional and you’ll never see these people again but dude.. Integrity is important.
Afterwards, me Brandon Kailey Justin and Alvin ran around trying to find food but yooo the waits were long everywhere. We found a bbq spot that was REALLY fucking good though. And yooo this ‘everything cookie’ Kailey found… l went back and got 2 more. Actually while writing this… l have one left. Im gonna mix it in my vanilla icecream and be so fucking happy.
I understand fat people. Im not one of them. But l understand.
But yoo for real the bbq was really good. Afterwards, hit back to the airbnb and chilled all night. Nothing nutty, just a big hang out. Knocked out on and off. Got stuff for Kia as he was hurting and yoo l felt so bad he had to drop due to his pain. Esp all the work he put in. Later on Brandon and Kailey gave him a Top4 Kira which was really nice of them. Those are swimming in cardboard wealth. Had another rough night of sleep. Honestly… having a cotton blanket too also just gets too hot. Then the traffic noise… l just need my own bed lol.
Sunday got up and was iffy on going back as the side event chaos is SOOOO bad. Its like truly disorganized. But everyone else was going so l went. When we showed, we saw other friends and cut line a lil. If we didnt, it woulda been waiting in an insane line only to play Literally several hours later. So l had to find a 2v2 partner and Seven was w us and we decided to team up. My Red/White Gquuu Blockers and his Blue/Purple Plurple Aggro. Dude… it flowed pretty well. A nice blend of aggression, blocking, pinging and bouncing with some suppression to close the game out. 10 shields is nuts but yea, it def seems like its more of a midrange game. Me and Seven won our 1st and 2nd game, lost our 3rd, won our 4th and sadly lost our 5th. Had we won, we woulda got 3rd of 30 teams but we ended up placing 8th. Due to our breakers(our opponents previously didnt do so well). Its ok, def had a lot of fun. First time for both of us doing 2v2 and also cool to play w a friend in Gundam. Also Seven is a cool dude and got to play 5 long games w him. Def down to enter a 2v2 w him again. Possibly Gundam Kitchen every 3rd sunday. Brandon and Alvin took 2nd place in the 2v2’s which lm happy they got and also happy we didnt run into each other as there was a fair amount of friendly fire. Me and Seven beat 2 teams of friends from Philly/South Jersey.
Afterwards, we went out to get Bojangles and yoooo this place is dope. Shoutout to Roger aka Mr.Chow on the heads up bout this spot. This is why we're friends. So Rell Chuqi and Gato happened to go in RIGHT as we came in lol. Got a ton of food and yoo the sauces were pretty solid sizes. I was really really happy bout the sizes of the sauces. Chicken was solid, the sides were standard and good for what you’d expect, biscuits were good. Just a nice meal w the squad before heading back. Got to the airbnb to pack and check on Kia. Thank you again Kia for all the work to set this up homie. Appreciate you!

I know Flesh and Blood is a really good card game and also way less expensive but l know if l get into it, l’ll get DEEP into it. I CANNOT just ‘play for fun’.

Played JustinJ in Pokemon for a lil. Had to humble him lol. But yoo l’ll give him credit, he’s still a good player. Just records wise, lm better lol. I always give him shit cause he’s always screaming how he’s God, saying anime lines and shit lol. Its fun to not be friendly. Though l did cross the line and he ended up fighting w Kumar lololol. I felt bad. But yea, l shouldnt split us up. Us blacks gotta stick together.
Later on watched 2 episodes of Daredevil w SteveC and Jeremiah. Hit upstairs to do mad work and bum for a bit and then ended the late night w more food hookah and youtube before sleeping at 7am.
Tues got up and the dryer vent cleaner came through. Turns out there was a bird’s nest in there… Ughh $375….. That quote that ‘$100s are just kid’s $1s’ is so fucking true. Just hundreds on this and that and aioghaoihga… its like… if l leave the house, lm spending $100. Food, gas and entertainment, you’re looking at $100 atleast. And then any repairs on the home or car… a few hundred. Im starting that Onlyfans l keep talking bout. I’d sell hard drugs but lm too extra and would get busted by the police and go to jail. I do wanna do another trick room team though but lm not sure. Also a weather team. But Im still also fixing up my main team… ughh my brain… its overloaded and this is just within Pokemon Champions. Hit upstairs to bum for a few hours. Organizing alll my notes off my phone. I love when my photos is barely anything. Its just notes. All photos l take, l load them onto my PC. Im not one of those people who have 5000 pics on my iphone. Later hit downstairs for that everything cookie + vanilla icecream combo. More food, hookah youtube till 8am.
Weds slept the day away. Got up and just did real estate work and then hit downstairs to watch some Gen V w Jeremiah. We gotta catch up hardcore cause the final season of The Boys is airing and we dont wanna get spoiled. Midnight headed out to get Anita from the airport and caught up in the car ride. Got McDonalds and hit home and cleaned like crazy. Just OCD cleaning. Uploading photos on facebook and taking care of emails.
Thurs got up early and hit Chinatown for my haircut from Happy at Room 209. Got a quick cut and got some chongqing chicken from Emei before hitting home to do work. Got on calls w friends/clients and ate a lil and decided to buy Pragmata which everyone is loving. Capcom is on fire w Resident Evil 9, Pragmata and how well the Street Fighter 6 DLC characters are doing.
Kumar was down to play some Pokemon so hopped on w him for a bunch of games. Really good playing w him again after a few years since the release of Pokemon Scarlet Violet. Took it easy for a lil bit and then hit The Lab.
Ive been so MIA from Street Fighter 6, The Lab and the FGC in general, so l had to go just spend time w them and play some games. Somehow l won the tournament. This happens a lot when l take a lil break, l come back not doing as much dumb shit. I dont think lm a bad player at all but l do have dumb yolo, hard reads that arent w the risk reward. Just, in a lot of gaming, l go for hard reads that lm sure of, even if the risk reward isnt worth it. Ehhh l was still kinda playing stupid but more so LESS stupid l guess is the best way to put it. Had mad fun playing games w everyone and chilling. Snacking on a ton of shit, smoking hookah and talking w the guys bout all sorts of shit. Ended up playing Steve’s Alex afterwards and yoo he’s got a solid Alex. Ended up beating my ass pretty bad lol.
Hit home to watch Gen V w Jeremiah for a lil and then slept at 4am.
Friday got up late and snacked a lil, smoked hookah and got ready for NYC. There was a vote on the color theme which ended up being pink that morning. So hit the mall and found a pink button down. Sadly it was large and the only other size was XS so it was kinda baggy on me. Not really my style either. Hit Philly got get Anita and Binh and then drove to get Marium. We got some Shake Shack on the way and yooo… l use to talk a lot of shit on Shake Shack on their portions per dollar but… ok their burgers are pretty solid. The milkshakes tho… are so tiny for what you pay for. Im sure they’re solid but….. I dunno. I just wish their portions were a bit bigger. Got burgers and fries and got some more for Marium. Got Marium and hit pregame at Wes’ place. Car ride was mad fun and lm glad Marium really likes Anita and Binh.
Thank you Wes for setting up the night and hosting pregame. I still believe every 3 months is a solid amount of time to go. We do this Maru Pilgrimage bout twice a year. But people are always down to go more. Not a cheap night but for the amount of fun we have, the split is worth it to me.
Pregame was mad fun as always. Set up the hookah, cracked some sojus and just had fun socializing w everyone for 2 hours. I love pregame so much. Just a house party before the club. Got to meet some new people and lm glad my sister Allison came through to chill. Edwin and his friends made it over too. Just a good time acting stupid, playing paparazzi, getting to know some people l just met and catching up w other friends l havent seen since the last Maru Pilgrimage or the pilgrimage before. Took a few big group photos and then headed out to Maru.
Got our fav table spots, right infront of the DJ. Allison’s friend Sue was there at a promoter table too. We got 3 tables and had fun dancing on the sofas all night. Rotated on and off it so others could dance up there as there is only so many spots on the sofa. Anita and Binh also had some friends there by chance who l got to meet. Marium was on the sofa a lot lol. At one point, having her go from one sofa to another, she walked on the table and someone seemed nervous but l told them ‘she’s been doing this shit for 10 yrs’ lol cause when l met Marium, she was dancing on a table at JWL right next to a hookah and l was nervous she would knock it over or fall over. Esp doing this in heels is mad impressive. We partied pretty late and dipped when the group was dwindled down pretty deep. Afterwards, said bye to the remaining squad and we headed out. Got gas and food at a rest stop on the way back and then Edwin happened to stop at the same rest stop. Got food and chilled. Good to have a lil break too. Got home w the sun coming up. Lit a hookah, grabbed snacks and watched some youtube.
Sat slept in hardcore. Woke up to chill w MattK Amy and Adam. Lit the hookah, got food, did some youtube and chilled all evening and night. All morning plans were ruined. No Kryptic for the Gundam tournament. Im dumb thinking l could’ve pushed through to still make it. 3 hours of sleep just isnt functional regardless what l wanna do.
Stayed up allll night just taking care of small things. Cleaning out my notes hardcore. Getting a lot of the notes taken care of. A lot of the remaining notes and things to do are more for fun, not mandatory things. Food to make, people to help train in Pokemon Champions/Street Fighter 6 and friends to visit l havent seen in a bit.
Sunday morning still up, hit Top Deck for the Starter Deck tournament. Heard there’s new promos and winner’s card for them. I am a CHAMPION at fundamental most things lol. So far, every Starter Deck Tournament l’ve entered, l’ve won in one of the two l enter per Starter Deck Event. This was only a single Starter Deck tournament, w starter decks 1-6. You dont pick but the value to enter was already worth the starter deck and then there’s promos and prizing. Got Starter Deck 5 - Red/Green Clan which lm comfortable with cause l ran Clan for a lil bit. Went 3 wins, 0 losses and took another 1st, getting an additional promo EX base. I got a bunch of these now. They’re all worth between $30-$55ish last time l checked. But one of them l really like and started using it.
Next there was 2 GD04 release tournaments. The gap between them was 3 hours tho and was pretty tired from staying up all night. Decided to just do one of them. Bought 2 boxes too and another starter deck cause they were giving more EX Base promos w a starter deck purchase. Went 1 win, 2 losses in that. I suck lol. Good playing and hanging w everyone though. Glad Keith and Dom came through too. Im glad they’re really getting into it. Nice seeing Keith use the playmat l gave him too so its getting use. Hit home afterwards and slept early.
4/27 Monday got up early, opened up the Gundam boxes, took pics to trade w friends and worked on deck building. 4 decks lm focused on.
In order of priority and tournament viability:
Red White Zeong Blockers (a Kira pilot build and a Marida pilot build)
Red Green CB
Red Green Clan
Red Green Zeon/Neo Zeon Tokens
Thinking bout them a lot, l feel the Clan deck will still be on step under Meta still and that the Token deck has too many natural counters in people’s decks in general. We’ll see if someone does really well w it to copy. I decided to put all my focus into the Zeong Blockers and the CB deck. Working on that on and off throughout the day, literally just thinking bout turns, plays, flaws, the positives and negatives having something in the deck or not.
Had some pizza, hookah and watched some youtube for a lil. Did real estate work midday but there’s only so much l can do till clients are free later on. Watched some Gen V w Jeremiah and then hopped on Street Fighter 6 w Rich. Played my Luke against his Akuma and took notes on some flaws in his gameplay so l can go over with him later. Played for bout 2 hours and then MattK came through. Had Matt take over to play him, lit the hookah and watched some youtube. Ended up passing out early.
Tues l slept in hardcore… woke up at 5pm. Felt great though lol. Smoked hookah and played SteveC in Gundam w our new decks. Tried out the Red Green CB deck and l like it but it def has flaws and l dont see it being Top Tier. Not yet anyway. I’ll see what others build and try it out. Still, not sure if l’ll use CB for tournaments. Asis swung by too to drop off Justice Gundams l may use in my Red White Zeong deck. I decided not to use them yet, opting for Freedom Gundam instead since it is Kira pilot focused.
Hit Top Deck and went 3 wins, no loss, taking 1st place outta 10 players. Good playing w everyone and lm glad Rell came through here for once. Got an Archangel Base Winner Card too which is EXACTLY what l wanted since l run one Archangel base. I saw it the night before and was like whoaaa… that’d be nice to win that since l use it lol. The winner and promo cards for various events though are kinda ass. There is a lot of stuff that isnt actually being played, so its JUST a trophy. Before when it was cards people were actually using, it was just cooler cause then you’d shove them in your deck. Oh well. Had fun, hit home and made leftover chinese food Subir brought us. Thank you Subir. Lit the hookah and finished season 2 of Gen V w Jeremiah so we can catch up on the last season of The Boys.
Hit upstairs to do made work. Still lots of small stuff for real estate for my PA and getting my NJ License. Writing down and figuring out what food l need and junk. Its weird, l got so much food but lm kinda sick of everything l got. Ended the night watching a lil more youtube and Invicible, eating more chinese food and smoking hookah.
