KK so past few weeks.
7/18 Friday got up in the afternoon and worked on my new PC for a while. I’m really happy with it but honestly, l’d prob be happy w any new PC cause I just use my PC for basic shit. Google docs, internet, work. Nothing intense like gaming or video editing.
Later on Gunnar and Ryan came through and we hit Jack’s chill guy’s night at his place. Jack cooked and smoked a ton of banging food and yoo.. The queso was ridiculously good. He makes me wanna buy a smoker. It seems fun to get all the stuff together and throw in for a big batch of queso dip. Jeff Mally and Eugune came through as well. Just had a solid night talking bout all sorts of stuff. Stuffing face, smoking hookah and having some drinks on the side. Sitting around talking bout whatever is simply just one of the most fun things to do w the right people. His son is getting so big too but lm kinda sad he’s getting shy. Good seeing Caitlin too. Hung out later than expected which is a good thing cause its tougher to get together. Thank you for hosting Jack.
Got home late and just worked on the PC again all night. Installing all the apps, deleting junk from old folders. Mega late night, food hookah and youtube combo.
Sat got up and hit house showings w Julie and Brandon. Jenna joined to shadow again and saw two properties, one of which was really good. Had fun talking bout tons of junk in the car inbetween showings and its fun to have Jenna shadow along for showings.
Later on, hit Best Buy for PC parts and then got Taco Bell. Ate and bummed and then worked on the PC for a while till playing Gundam w SteveC. Always solid games and l always learn something new. Since we’re practicing, its good to just show him the options lm thinking bout and go through it with him to see whats the most optimal play. Headed out to DavidV’s birthday party afterwards.
Happy Birthday David!! Good seeing the squad again and l feel bad not being around much lately. Ripping Pokemon cards, smoking hookah, talking mad Gundam w Nurdeen, taking shitty photos of my shitty friends, brainstorming manipulation ideas on Shemmay and explaining to everyone its ok because l have black friends. Wholesome party. Partied w everyone all night and just happy to be w them again at David’s. It just feels right. I sell great party houses heads up everyone.
Late night got home and SteveC was still up and we have a problem so we played more Gundam at 3am lol. Late night, youtube eat hookah combo.
Sunday got up late and tons of friends came through to chill. Ryan Adam SteveC Jeremiah and MattK all at the house chilling for a while and then we flipped on the Karate Kid Legends movie which was a fun movie if you’re a Karate Kid fan. Oddly… l watched nearly everything Cobra Kai, the Jayden Smith Karate Kid but l never watched the old movies. May have to run through it one day cause there are so many re-occuring cast members.
Later on, me and SteveC did crack cocaine which was playing Gundam. Late night, lit the hookah again and watched Sandman and then later on did real estate work.
7/20 Monday MattK came through to play the Gundam card game for a while. He made proxies and caught on to this game really quick. That brilliant mind that doesnt compete anymore. Still such a shame… Played a bunch and then hit Best Buy to return PC parts, got more Taco Bell cause thats the move and then hit home to eat and work for a while.
Late night, got Anita from the airport and caught up on everything. Talked bout everything and had a smooth ride back. Got Wawa and hit home to do work for a while and then playtested decks on https://www.wingtable.net/gcg which is so amazing. Using https://exburst.dev/gundam/tournaments to pick decks people are using in tournaments and then going right into Wingtable makes testing really easy. Played into Tues.
Tues still up playing Gundam on Wingtable and then hit downstairs to watch some Sandman and some Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia. New season of Its Always Sunny is amazing. Show always has been. Finally passed out in the morning then got up at 2pm to do work. Got on calls for a while. Brown came to visit and we played Magic the Gathering Premodern. SteveC joined too. Watching and playing various match ups. Had Brown use Stiflenaught on me so l could get use to that match up and learn what to sideboard in. Def 2 different games within a game. Def good training from 6pm-11pm. Late night just did mad cleaning and then hit the youtube food hookah combo.
Weds got up and MattK visited to play some Gundam. Played for a while and then played w SteveC as well. Let the guys play each other while SteveF came through. First time seeing him forever. SteveC told me he knows how to fix appliances so l had SteveF come through to get the dishwasher fixed. Thank you SteveF!!!!! Didnt wanna let it sit broken for too long. Last time that happened, it was too gross to fix and just got a new one. Later on hit Wawa to get burgers and just ate and watched youtube and then knocked out really early. Was awake for like 8 hours total.
Thurs got up early all productive and shit. Booked homes and worked on Gundam for a while. Smoked hookah and chilled for a lil and then hit Chinatown for my haircut at Room 209. Afterwards, got chongqing spicy chicken from Emei and then checked out some homes for Allison as she’s looking to do investment properties. Took videos and found some potential.
Hit home to chill w Brown for a lil. Working and playing Gundam till my next set of house showings. Headed out to see homes w Julie and Brandon and found 1 really great one to make an offer one. Hit home to chill and play games w Brown and Adam some more and then back out again.
Hit the Lab w Kristine and went 2 wins, 2 losses in Street Fighter 6, taking 4th. Just a chill hang out w everyone and glad Kristine is getting to know the squad much better now. Hit home to do real estate work and then ate, smoked hookah and watched youtube.
Friday morning headed out to Top Deck w Adam and SteveC. Brown was gonna come but he got held up w work. Got as many packs as we could, paid off a dude to pay more packs in his name for me, hit Round 2 for more cards and then got sandwiches at a spot Adam really likes. Hit back to Adam’s to eat and open packs like kids.
I really miss getting mad hype for a card game. Deck building and adjusting is so fun. There is a lot of fun stuff w card games outside the direct game. Opening packs, trading w friends, deck building.. But we kinda skip trading as we’re just giving each other what we need. And Brown is balling out and getting multiple copies of everything lol.
Hit back to my place to organize cards for a while and then Brown came w all his cards as he got a ton from Doylestown after l made calls. More deck building, deck adjusting and playing.
Later one, me and SteveC watched some Dexter and youtube. Working on this WB Unicorn Control deck late night then more youtube food and hookah before sleeping.
Sat picked up SteveC from his parents and we hit Top Deck for the Magic the Gathering Premodern tournament. Also bought more Gundam cards lol. I took 2nd place w my Sligh deck. The very traditional build. Beat a Goblin deck 2-1, then lost to SteveC 1-2 and then beat my last opponent 2-0. Was mad fun and you know, tournaments are intense and its so fun. Top decking a lightning bolt so my Fireblast and Bolt could do exactly 7 for the win against the Goblin Deck in the final game a turn before he won was truly pure happiness.
Next hit Brando’s birthday and SteveC got to meet a lot more of that squad. Happy Birthday Brando. Got Brando a bunch of stuff for card games since MattK got him starter decks. Got to catch up big time w House. I miss that guy so much. There was mad games going on. Magic the Gathering, Mario Kart, a lil Street Fighter 6 tournament which I took 2nd losing to MattK, played the horse racing game as a drinking game and then later on the crab fish gourd game where Ngoc was dealer and took everyone’s monies but mine. I profited a lil. Good work Ngoc hehehe. The board was great as Ngoc drew in all the pics on paper plates. She made it worked and it worked well! I was calling it the Ngoc Invitational but she wanted to keep it as the Ingersoll Invitational lol. There was mad food and had a really good time w everyone. Also cool meeting Sam who had a solid sense of humor and was really outgoing. Fun teaching some of the guys Gundam and hung out late.
Hit home w SteveC late and we just bummed and watched youtube for a lil.
Sunday got up at 2pm and hung out w Brown and SteveC, playing mad Gundam lol. Im addicted. Building decks and then had to go to house showings. Jenna joined to shadow and plus, it’s cool for her to see the house buying journey. Got Brandon and Julie and we hit a bunch of homes. Jenna picks up pretty fast and its cool to have her on the team. House showings went well and afterwards hit home to do more work on some of the homes we saw. Played some Fortnite w JulianD(to differentiate from JulianB Brown’s kid). Got him the battle pass and played a few games. Ended the night w youtube food and hookah.
7/28 Monday got up to work on real estate for a while and had youtube on the side. Adam Brown Ben and SteveC all hung out all night and we just played maddd Gundam lol. Game is addictive. Had mad fun w everyone. Ended w 7 games against SteveC’s WB Zero deck as I felt that would be popular the next day for the tournament. Late night, did Street Fighter 6 training and then ended w youtube and hookah.
Tues slept in and packed for Vegas. Hit Top Deck for the Gundam tournament solo and had a 8 player tournament. I took 1st w my altered Zeon Rush Deck.

Weds morning at 6am, rode w Ryan to the airport. Appreciate it homie. My flight was at 9am. KyleM was on my flight and we caught up and hung out. Later on, found a ton of the guys who were on the same flight. Flight was smooth but couldnt sleep on it. Got to Vegas and it took a bit on getting the rental car and getting established.
Thank you Aaron for setting up the trip again. This air bnb is so great. We hit this burger spot called Fuku burger and yooo it was so banging. Its this Fuku sauce that makes it extra good. Used ChatGPT to remake the sauce. Hit back to the air bnb to bum, headed out to pick up the hookah’s at Aaron’s sister’s spot and smoked, drank and ate all late night w everyone. Just a big ass hang out.
Thurs got up to hookah and play games. Lit the hookah and was just on Street Fighter 6 on and off. Smoked hookah in the hot tub, hung out in the living room, kitchen. Just bouncing around. We celebrated Scott’s birthday too. Happy Birthday homie!! They came out w a WWE themed birthday surprise which was really dope. Later on was our…. Cosplay Event Party lol. Invited mad friends who were coming to Vegas for Evo and other Vegas friends in general. Plenty of food and drinks for everyone. Burgers, hot dogs, wings, ribs and tons of liquor all over the kitchen. Our kitchen island is so damn amazing. So got the set ups going, friends came through, just doing introductions and shots. Lit the hookahs and partied till it was our main event. Jinx came through w her friends and yooo so good seeing her again and catching up. It doesnt feel like a year went by. Met her friends and did more shots. Lud Jake and their crew came through and did my best doing introductions. More friends came through and also met other people who were friends of others that I was meeting nonstop.

There was HANDSTANDS…. And SPLIT HANDSTANDS and yooo… the cosplay was awesome. It was a lot of fun and turned out better than l thought. Cosplay show had 2 performances by our guests. It just got more hype as it went on. Mad laughs, dope talent and had mad fun in general. Chilled w Cat for a while and got into a deep talk bout ICP and then later event planning as she does events as well that sound pretty wild. Partied late and kept the hookahs lit. Food was getting destroyed. Wings and ribs were gone first. Our drinks were getting destroyed too. 430am me and Cat lit the hookah and jumped in the hot tub, talking bout all sorts of stuff till the sun came up around 6am. Dope way to end the night.
Friday got up and there was breakfast made. Hung out w everyone for a while but didnt wanna eat too much. Slept a bit more and then got up at 2pm to get ready and smoke hookah for a lil. A bunch of us headed out and had fun running around, taking pics, buying mad keychains lol. There was so many good art keychains. Plus, l like stuff like that to label my stuff. I got so many Luke keychains too. Almost every one there is but there’s a few ugly ones. Mad people were taking photos w Kristine’s Chun-Li cosplay. There was sooo much cool shit to buy. Being Evo and that Street Fighter has the most entries every year, the Street Fighter merchandise was insane. Also found an artists who art was just beyond ridiculous. He also had playmats and l was bugging out but l already ordered 2 new ones for Gundam. Ran around watching friends play their matches, cheering them out, talking w them after each match. Trying to keep track of their next opponent and which character they play and any other info l could see like ‘this guy never jumps’ ‘this guy eats throws’ ‘this guy seems bad, you got this’ ect. Rich and Me hit the Victrix section to feel out the new Victrix stuff. They got the BFG Reloaded Controller which is an upgrade to my favorite controller, the BFG. Rich decided to get it as he needed something like this.
7pm my First Pool. So as always as something for Evo, you never know who you’ll end up facing at any point. Well besides making it outta pools and now you’re just facing killers.
1st match - Played against a Guile player and just bulldogged him cause it’s Guile and if we get back to neutral, he’s at advantage. Just wanted to constantly have buttons on him and put him in oki. Beat him 2-0
2nd match - Played against a Ryu. Made a few mistakes but he also didnt do optimized stuff and was leaving extra damage on the table. I just maximized when I did get in and though we went back and forth, the damage difference was higher on my end. Beat him 2-0.
3rd match - I saw this Ed player had just beaten SherryJenix on stage. I thought I was gonna face Sherry who has a better Luke than me. So I felt a bit shitty knowing I was going up against an Ed who also is warmed up and beat a better Luke player than me. Just went in bulldogging again. Didnt wanna do neutral as his pokes are longer. Just getting in my poke range is harder. Then throwing a fireball I have to be further out than normal and its a bit of a meh situation. Just went in kinda dumb and bulldoggish again. Beat him 2-0.
At this point, I was making it out of pools regardless of my 4th match. 4th match was determining who makes it outta pools on winners side.
4th match - Faced a patient JP player. Dude had me locked down. Guessed wrong on oki a few times and just felt like ass. Lost 2-0.
Was still hype that I made it outta pools. Got my free chipotle card for making it outta pools and then saw and caught up w ZackK who use to be a tournament organizer in Philly but now works for Evo. Showed him my chipotle card for making it outta pools and he gave me another. Turns out, he’s the one that networked Chipotle w Evo so he had a ton. Great catching up w him and its crazy cause he was one of the first people I met when I first started entering fighting game tournaments in general.
Ran around Evo for a bit longer. Shopping around. The lines for using Sagat, 2XKO, Marvel Token and other stuff like that were way too long to wait in. Hit back to the air bnb and had a chill night. Just food, drinks, hookah, some Street Fighter 6 practice and chilling w everyone all night. Working w Rich on his Akuma and his new controller. So glad Andres was w us too for the weekend. We just dont get as much time to chill together and I really love that dude. He laughs at everything too lol. Don Julio tracks on repeat.
Sat woke up and did shots of Don again. Take off the edge. Anything can happen still in pools. Just anyone I’m facing now was also in the Top3 of the 17 player Day 1 Pool. 86% on the Street Fighter 6 competitors were fully eliminated by Friday night so each match was gonna be tough.
Got to my Day 2 Pool and played an E.Honda…. He got me. Just not enough practice against the match up and got hit by some E.Honda stuff like Headbutt blocked yolo OD Buttslam and Rush - Stomp cancel command grab. Lost 0-2.
Ahhh and that was my Evo run. I’m still happy with how I did though. Me and Kristine hit a bagel spot right outside of the convention center to eat a solid meal. Ran around w the squad, buying more keychains for myself and friends. Kristine trying out leveless controllers as she has interest in playing Street Fighter. Took a lil break just watching matches for a bit and then eventually hit West gate to play Craps. So… my $340 went to ass. Shit was just not rolling well for me and Kristine. But atleast she learned how to play the general game. I didnt go over allll of the side bets you could make but most of them, you need a higher bank roll to even play.
Back at the air bnb, just hookah and hot tub for a while and then later on we went out to a spot called Area 15. It wasnt bad but there was just ok games. VR games, laser maze and stuff. Think fun levels of Mini Golf. We browsed outside of it too and found the John Wick experience was right there but they were closed. Apparently if you’re a John Wick fan, you’ll love it so I was mega sad when we couldnt get in. Got poke bowl w Kristine at one of the spots inside and then met back up w the squad who were playing various arcade games.
Got back to the air bnb and just chilled all night. Hookah, snacks, Street Fighter 6 and watching UMVC3 on the projector. Hung out late into the morning.
Sunday woke up to hear Don Julio blasting. Vada has been playing it on blast nonstop all weekend but there’s a hype ass intro. Having us drink Don Julio all the time too. Jinx came through to cosplay along w Kristine. Lit the hookah and hung out w everyone for a while. Sunday being the chill day. Berto drove us to Evo and yooo Berto(our butler) is such an awesome guy. Who goes out of his way to make sure our trip is amazing. He said he chills w bout 30% of the people of the air bnb cause some arent fun to chill w. I like having him around him. Its one of fun person around. But he also cooks for us, washes all our towels and stuff.
Ran around Evo and yooo people were nonstop asking for pics of Jinx and Kristine. Gabe showed me the spot for Evo moment 37 to take a pic w. Found a Char Zaku airtag. Later on hit the Arena for finals. Got in a bit early to get seated. Got on the stream by chance walking by. More seats opened up and texted the group. Me Rich Andres Eric Jinx and Kristine all got to sit together after Tekken was over and some seats opened up in a row close by. Watched Street Fighter 6 Top 8 which was a lot of fun. It is nice being there in the moment w the crowd and hype. But honestly…. After last year just watching w everyone in the convention center cause the arena was packed, I kinda like that better. No hassle of finding seats w friends. Saves some money and the hype is still there. Had to debate w Andres of this overhype fake girl who l heard didnt know the players then immediately is screaming her life out for Fuudo. I dont like inauthentic cheering. You’re just trying to fit in and be cool. And really annoying bout it in the process. Like bet $10 on a player if you dont know either players and have no reason to be hype. That way, you are invested and its fun. Thats what I do for Football and UFC. I dunno shit whose who but betting $10, $20… $100(I won on the last Superbowl) and then random other side bets(Jaleen got me monies too) makes it way more fun. Not to promote gambling. BUT GAMBLING IS FUN. Just dont over do it, thats all. Its like fent lol jkjkjkjkj dont do fent.
After Finals, we hit back to the house and stayed up all night. Playing some Street Fighter 6. Making mad food. Hookah was lit the entire time and Vada just passing around the Don Julio and playing the 2 Don Julio tracks nonstop. We hung out for insane hours but I didnt want it to end. We had such a solid squad and this is only once a year. Mad laughs, esp w Andres there lol.
Im also glad this trip l got to know some of my more casual friends on a much better level since we were living together for days. Brandon and Austin are 2 dudes I’ve always gotten along w but we became much closer because of this trip which is really cool. Chilled till the sun came up and finally knocked out.
8/4 Monday got up and said late to most the guys. Took a nice squad photo w the fake animals lol. Thank you again Aaron for setting this all up. Me Kristine and Eric shuffled to the other airbnb and went back to sleep. Got up later and we ate and then said late to Berto aka B the Butler. I liked just calling him B cause Berto was just too much. We hit Resort’s to gamble and play more craps. Found KyleM by chance again and slowly won $276 from… playing properly lol something l should always actually be doing. Had the board flooded w money while l was doing well 2 times and the 2nd time… the money just came rolling in. Though I was down, esp w close to $100 on the table, this guy just rolled for a while and brought me up over $350. He eventually crapped out but that was fine cause the profit was already so good from pulling me well out of the red into doubling what l walked in with($240). So walking out w a lil over $500 was a nice way to end the trip. Gambling at the end of the trip and gambling late night is the best times for me to gamble luck wise. Kristine and Eric pced out to their flight and l’ll see them back at the house in a couple months. They’re so nomadic and gonna be all over the place for a lil bit. Hit the airport and got food, met up w Kyle and just bummed together for a while till our flight. My seat got moved for more space right behind Holland. Didnt have good sleep though.
Tues morning landed and SteveC got me as he was dropping off his sister and Mom. Thank you for the ride Steve. Got back home to do mad work, organize my notes. 6 days away is a long time for me to be away. Soooo much notes backed up to clean up and put in the right places though l do enjoy it. Got Chipotle(thank you ZackK) and then got food at Giant. Hit home to eat and watch youtube.
Booked a ton of homes for friends, took a nap then hit Top Deck w Brown Adam and SteveC and entered the Gundam tournament. No practice or thinking bout Gundam for a full week. Went 1 win, 2 losses. Gahh. But also, people been adjusting their decks and play testing. Its ok. Had mad fun w the Scumbag Squad and lm glad we have this together. Its just stupid fun. Also my playmats came in. Im so fucking cool. Took 6th place of 15 based on the OMW which is still ass cause its really tied for 6th-12th or something besides the few people who went 0 wins, 3 losses.
Hit home to chill and play more games w SteveC. Uploaded pics and sent them out to everyone from Evo. Stayed up late night watching youtube, eating and smoking hookah.
Weds got up in the afternoon and did work. Worked on Sagat for a while and he’s fun but not my style. Its just VERY neutral heavy. I like a bit of variety and well roundedness which is why Luke fits so well. Thats also why Akuma fit well in the past in Street Fighter 4 and Street Fighter 6. Ed in Street Fighter 5 just fit me for high pressure. Zangief and Cammy l always just enjoyed playing. Played some Elden Ring Nightreign w Jeremiah and then later on MattK came over to play some Gundam w me and SteveC. Brown came through later for a bit too. Played a ton of games and lm glad MattK is really into it too. Later back to Street Fighter 6 w Sagat on ranked for fun. Ended the night w youtube food hookah and working on Gundam deck adjustments.
Thurs got up late and did work in the afternoon. Some youtube and hookah before hitting the Lab and didnt do so hot lol. Went 1 win, 2 losses and went 3-3 in the Sagat Only Tournament. Im ass but its ok, l know lm so much more invested in Gundam right now but l still truly love Street Fighter 6. Actually going 1 win, 2 losses in both Gundam and Street Fighter 6 kinda says I suck right now. Whatever, l just got back from Vegas.
Hit my office for Shemmay’s cutting board for a client’s closing gift and then hit Taco Bell to pig out. Hit home to bum all night. Eat youtube hookah and Gundam Deck adjustments all night.
Friday got up and Brown came through to chill. Building more decks to test, play against and feel out. 3 decks total. SteveC really liked the White Blue Rebuild Midrange deck to the point where he switched to that as his main deck. We played a ton of games till l had to go for house showings. Jenna came over and then headed out to get Julie and Brandon to see homes. Had a chill day house showing and also, thank you Brandon for the Paramount+ account and anime suggestions.
Got home and got right back to Gundam games w Steve Adam and Brown. Later on Jeremiah Ryan and Zack came to chill and we hung out late. Ended the night watching youtube and doing Gundam testing on wingtable.
Sat got up late and just worked on real estate for a while. SteveC and Adam came back, thanks for the hoagie!! Stuffed face and back to playing Gundam. My crack. Later on, party time for Aaron’s birthday. Got Binh Addison and Anita and we hit XOX. Got soju and hookah for the squad and met some of the girl’s friends. Introduced the girls to Aaron’s birthday squad. DJ was maddd on point and played hype tracks. He did well adjusting to the crowd. Don Julio playing.. Lol.. it’s a positive memory track. Happy Birthday Aaron!!!!11 Brought out a sign “Happy Birthday Aaron Da Gawd!! Long Live Cammy”. Danced w friends, did shots at the table and at the bar, thank you Edwin for taking care of so many of us. It was just nice being back w the guys so quickly after Evo lol.
Afterwards, we hit Manny’s birthday at May’s. Happy Birthday Manny!! Just caught up w the squad, lit the hookah. Had cake and drinks and just chilled w everyone for a while. Stayed till 4am ish w everyone. Glad to still find time for everyone. The girls said there’s another after party so we hit that up. Met their friends, lit the hookah which was a hit w this squad. Met a bunch of them, found out who we knew in common and just smoked and had good conversations w this group. Really nice welcoming squad. We hung out till the sun came up.
Dropped off Anita and Binh and really glad we got to have a lot of time running around Philly as this summer, I havent gotten to chill w them that much. They’ve been flying back and forth and l’ve been nerding out.
Sunday got up and hit house showings w Pirin and George for a few homes. Nice to be house showing again now that Evo is over. Saw some potential homes and then hit back home only to go right back out for house showings w Julie and Brandon. Nerding out in the car and checking out spots. Afterwards, got Chipotle(thanks Evo) and then hit home to do real estate work for both couples. Ate and rewatched some of Old Guard since SteveC never watched it and we were watching the 2nd movie later on. Ryan came through and we watched Old Guard 2. Still a solid movie but ahhh… if you know. Adam came through later for games of Gundam. Hung out, played Gundam and made more deck adjustments cause lm crazy.
8/11 Monday got up early and did work. Organizing notes, working on various junk and then took it easy w some youtube. Got Chipotle cause its just easy and then played SteveC in gundam in the afternoon. Adam came over for games too later on. I gotta play against his GB Zeon Aggro deck as l need more practice against the fastest aggro deck of the game. Brando came through too and had him use SteveC’s WG Zero deck for a while. He currently only has the 2 starter decks so l wanted him to use something more meta. Esp for the tournament the next day if he joined us. Ended the night… adjusting my deck lol.
Tues got up late and MattK came over to build his Breach deck. Thank you for bringing Burger King Matt!! He has I think 5 proxy decks and his Breach deck is his favorite. We used a mix of my cards, SteveC’s cards and Brown’s cards so his deck would be built. SteveC was using my WB deck and then we brought SteveC’s WG Zero deck for Brando. Brown came over, SteveC came down and we headed out to Top Deck. AdamW and Brando met up w us. Solid Squad of 6 for the tournament. I went 2 wins and lost in the final game as l was getting no pilots and no Big Zam. Gahhhhhhhhasdhfasdiufhaosidf so clooseeeeeee… I just want the win for bragging rights. Brown is hardcore collecting and so l woulda gave him whatever I got to help w his collection. Plus lve been taking so many of his cards lol. The guys were all popping really nice cards too from the free pack but Adam got one of the biggest chase cards worth $180 ish lol. Mad fun time w everyone and it was really cool to have 6 of us together for this. And also, you guys know me, l like mixing my squads together.
This is the Gundam Squad. Well BenW and Alex were missing but in general you know what l mean. New squads always forming. We got Gundam Squad. We got Lapdance Boiz. I like labeling my groups if you cant tell.
Hit home to chill w the guys for a bit. Lit the hookah and chilled w everyone. Late night on my PC just bullshitting for a while and then late night made shitty salsa and then watched a ton of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury which lm enjoying. Better animation being on the ‘newer’ side compared to stuff from like the 80s and its a lot of fights. Cool to see stuff that l know from the Gundam card game to better get it ya know?
Weds slept in, hit Giant to get mad food and fix this salsa that was too salty and too spicy and also get stuff for creamy alfredo pasta w broc. Played some games of Gundam w SteveC. Trying out one of the Zaft variants and its ok… but its also not that fun. So… ehh, l’ll try out one more variant later. But theres other things l need to test. SOO much testing to do… Made my pasta and salsa, did work and took a lil food youtube and hookah break. Back upstairs to my room late night doing work and working on this blog for a while. Cleaning my notes up. ALLL CLEAN ALL ORGANIZED. Played mad Gundam on Wingtable late night into Thurs. Testing RG Zeon Midrange. Its not bad but not great. I played top winning decks against my current RG Zeon Rush and its a lot better.
Thurs still up, heated up more pasta broc and lit the hookah to watch more Gundam Witch before passing out. Got up in the evening and MattK was already. Smoked hookah and played Gundam against his Breach deck for a bit before hitting the Lab. Im glad Matt is back to competing. Even if its just for a few weeks right now.

Hit the Lab, lit the hookah and said yo to everyone. MattK was entering Street Fighter 3 3rd Strike and Street Fighter 6. I was just doing Street Fighter 6. Cause of Gundam, lve been lacking so bad in Street Fighter 6. I gotta really make the match up guide part of Luke vs Sagat. Sam also made it through which lm glad he was back again. With MattK coming back to competing for a lil bit as well as SteveC, Adam, Brown, Brando and MattK also doing Gundam card game tournaments… ITS JUST FUN. Fun to talk strats, get hype bout future content and events. Its just a lot of fun.
Took 2nd place in Street Fighter 6. Winning my first and second game, losing to George(Geobraun) and then winning in loser’s finals and then losing to George again in Grand Finals. Its the collusion since George and Pirin are looking for a home, lm helping him w the downpayment. But I told him, second we get an accepted offer, I’m beating him lol. He beat my ass both games to be real. Hung out for a while after, talking a bunch of stuff and then me and Matt hit back. Chilled for a lil, made sausages and lit the hookah and watched some youtube.
Hit upstairs to book homes for the next few days, send out seller’s disclosures and other real estate work. Afterwards, labeled my Elden Ring Nightreign youtube videos as l had so many uploaded without labels. Not to make it big on youtube but my library on things to look back on. Its nice. I’ll still occasionally watch my gameplay from old games.
More youtube and hookah for a bit. Taking notes on fighting against Sagat to test out in training. Watching stuff on Gundam card game and then ended the night playing Elden Ring Nightreign again finally into the morning. Got the Libra Everdark Sovereign w Executor but failed 3 times w Raider in squads of 3.
Friday got up at 230pm and hit house showings w Jeremiah. We saw some potential homes, all w their pros and cons that he’s learning how much there is to factor in. Hit back home just to head back out. It was SerenaM’s birthday and we caught up and figured out to get Harvest as a little belated birthday dinner. Happy Birthday Serena!! She’s always been a night owl too so she was always someone up late to talk w lol. Got a really good dinner, caught up on everything going w us and talked bout doing hot yoga as everyone is saying stretching is the bare minimum l need to do for myself. I wanna just get stretching back in and then eventually just some running. After dinner, dropped off Serena and hit back home.
Saw Zack pulling in and then Brown was outside by chance when I parked. Went to his place for minute to chill and then back to my house. Ryan Zack Adam and Jeremiah joined to watch Alien Earth. I watched everything Alien except Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection. I like it so far. Something l’ve always liked bout the Alien Universe was how there was always an AI that was deeper than just an AI helping out. Now it gets a bit more complicated.
Ended the night w some youtube before passing out.
Sat got up early, did work for a lil and played a bit of Elden Ring Nightreign till AdamW got me for the next Gundam tournament. So we hit up Round 2 and I went 2-1, taking 2nd place of 11 players. Had fun, met some chill people and we got some good promo stuff. Got $10 store credit, so pretty much my entry back lol. Thank you Adam for driving. We got Taco Bell on our way back and got a shit ton. Brown and Julian came over first. More Gundam games and messing around. Ryan and Zack swung in for a lil before their run to just bum. Brando Matt and Ben came over a bit later from the Ren. Fair and yoo it was just a full ass Gundam day. SteveC was away and felt fomo when he found out. It just kinda happened. Gundam all day, all night. Vincent(Brando’s cousin) came through too to play. Hung out mad late, ate more taco bell and watched more youtube and smoked hookah till knocking out late.
Sunday got up and hit house showings w George and Pirin. Saw a few really good homes but it came down to 2 that were mega close. Fun day showing w them. Got Mission BBQ and hit back to eat w MattK. George and Pirin made a choice of their fav, wrote up the offer and later on, we got it!! Very happy for them they got their top choice. Played some games of Gundam w MattK and AdamW for a little. Adam headed out so me and MattK played Street Fighter 6 for a bit. Brown came over for some more Gundam late night. Ended the night watching Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Still one of the best comedies.
8/18 Monday got up late and worked on real estate for a bit and then headed out to house showings w Julie and Brandon. Saw some homes but nothing special. Got Wendy’s and then got home to chill for a bit. MattK came over w printed Proxies of Red/Green Zeon variation decks l wanna test out. Chilled for a bit and then later Adam Steve and Brown all came through to chill. Just lit the hookah, talked Gundam, played some games w SteveC before going up to bum. Bullshitted online a few hours away somehow as always. Ended the night making food, smoking hookah and watching Gundam Witch.
Tues got up and MattK was already over. Booked some homes for the next few days for friends and then hit downstairs to chill w Jeremiah SteveC and MattK till we hit the Gundam tournament at Top Deck. Its crazy how this has become a new community so quickly outta nowhere for us. Saw friends we’ve made from playing before and had fun playing. Won my first game against Coral who is one of the best players there. I beat him in the first tournament for 1st place, lost to him one time after and this was our 3rd time playing. Played SteveC next and yooo he got me at the end. Got to end game but couldnt finish the game off. Won my final game against a dude using a similar deck to mine. Went over his deck for a lil. Got more sleeves cause l have a problem. Hit back, got gas and hoagies from Wawa on the way back and chilled at home. Brown came over too and we all just bummed, ate, smoked hookah and played Gundam for a bit. Ended the night w MattK watching youtube on some Street Fighter 6 then knocked out early. Really short Tuesday.
Weds got up early. Super productive. Booking more homes and other work for clients. Working on getting my NJ real estate license. Made breakfast, watched some youtube and then got on Fortnite w the my friend’s kids. Gifting skin bundles, messing around in open servers and playing this Default or Die where you gotta fake like a NPC. Later on, back to work for a while. Ran out w SteveC to Walmart and Target looking for Gundam cards like we were kids. No luck. Got groceries cause l got no food. Actually l got a ton. Just wanted to make smash burgers w the fuku crack sauce from Vegas. MattK came over to watch EWC Street Fighter 6. Lit the hookah. Organized proxy decks.
Followed the night by playing an insane amount of Gundam. Ok so this game - it SEEMS like the well built decks play themselves, like the decisions are obvious. But its actually wayyyy deeper than that. Its really well designed on being easy to understand but the actual decision making goes a fair amount deeper as you realize more things. There is always a lot of play lines(options) as what you do, the order of what you choose to do, what you predict, there’s so much to factor.
Played sooo many games w the Zeon Rush Midrange Build. So Red/Green we all thought was suppose to be the Super Aggro deck but its not, thats actually Green/Blue. Its that deck is also insanely powerful. But it seems Red/Green Zeon is suppose to be played much more midrange. Has some early aggression, mostly midrange and a bit of top end. Shambloo being an end game top end as he links w Marida, Char and Full Frontal but I dont see anyone using him. He would be a 1 of in a deck for me as you’d NEVER want to see two in your hand.
Anywayyyy played an insane amount till late night.
Thurs morning, well 4am, got Anita and brought her to the airport and talked bout a ton of stuff. These girls are traveling like crazy. Hit back home to watch Alien Romulus and eat then finally slept.
Got up late and hit house showings w Julie and Brandon. Saw a few homes but only really liked one a lot. After house showings, changed at home and me and MattK hit The Lab. I did bad lol 0-2? I can make Day 2 at Evo… but sometimes… l can suck a lil much lol it happens. Good being everyone at The Lab and then hit home to chill. Made food while SteveC and MattK played some Gundam. After eating and readjusting my deck, played Matt a bunch against the GB OYW Aggro deck. Starting to understand this match up more after 25 matches lol. Def helps learn. Late night just bummed in my room.
