Sup Guys, been spending a lot more time w the OG Scumbag Squad and yooo I’m really happy.
I truly love all my groups of friends. And a lot of them are friends w each other through parties and stuff. This Squad though, they the OGs. So in the past few years, w the Scumbag Squad, it’s been when I see them here and there. You know those friendships, doesn’t matter how much time passed, every conversation and hang out is as if you saw them yesterday. It’s insane years of friendships at this point as far back as 2nd grade. You could also call them my Bucks County White Friends lolol. But yea, mostly cause of Magic the Gathering, just chilling whenever the fuck spontaneously like we’re in high school w no shits given has become a thing again. And I’m glad it has. My house is a constant group chillage. I know I’m immature and I’m fine w that cause dude… waking up to a friend saying ‘yo get up, we’re all downstairs, come hang out’ is a fun way to wake up. Oh I gave my out keys to my house to friends like crazy cause I’m lazy.
I remember in college, my fraternity brothers waking me up ‘yo get up, we’re skipping class, let’s get food’ and there’s just something about that, that’s extra fun.
I don’t care if i seem like a kid. I still get to have that and not everyone else does. And I think that’s pretty cool.
Also we joke in such fucked up ways. I gaggle. These pieces of shit can be pretty clever.
Kk so past few weeks getting in some white privilege by association.
6/19 Thurs got up late and of course the power goes out 10 mins after waking up. What timing… so l texted everyone and ended up hopping in the car w Adam and Brown to find food. Went on a lil adventure spot to spot, making calls to see what places were open. Ended up at Shogun for sushi and hibachi. Breslin, Erica and her daughter Natalie joined and had a really good dinner while waiting for power to come back on. Nice meeting Erica and Natalie as well.
Power came back on and hit home to do work for a lil bit and then just played Elden Ring Nightreign all night. Game is my life. Just tackling the Extra hard boss of the Gaping Jaw all night. Goal was to beat it w Executor, Revenant, Ironeye and Raider and that will be the 4 l work on. Guardian just isnt that much fun. Even w going guard counter builds and stuff. Its very passive and slow.
Friday got up to Brown waking me up that its late and to come down to hang lol. Hit downstairs and yoo from this storm, some of my big ass tree branches fell into the neighbors. Me Jeremiah Steve and Brown worked on sawing branches for the neighbor Heidi. I think l wanna buy an axe to chop up all this wood in the backyard.
AdamW came over and we just all hung out working on Pre-modern Magic the Gathering for a while and playing some games. Brown brought over mad cards and we were just finding relics lol. Crazy how the value of some cards just rocketed up because of different formats. Finding 4 Rhystic Study’s that are $55 each… they are commons too. Finding Lotus Petals, a bunch of them. Def a good nerd night.
Sat slept a lil and then got up for house showings w Julia and Brandon. Saw some good potential homes and we talked bout everything inbetween showings in the car. Hit home to chill for a lil w Eric and Kristine and then back out to more house showings w George and Pirin for a lil. Got home to do more work for both groups. Steve Jeremiah Ryan joined and we decided to watch the new Daredevil. Dude… that cast is so fucking great. Crazy how its back after coming out a decade ago. Wanted to watch more but the guys were beat. Ended the night just eating, smoking hookah and watching a ton of youtube.
Sunday got up late and hit the movies w Ryan Zack and Zack’s dad to see 28 years later. So… l really like 28 days later and then 28 weeks later was a fun movie but def felt different. But then yoo this movie… lol l dunno.. This movie was just all over the place. Im def indifferent.
Hit back and Brown and MattK came to visit to chill. Just bumming, smoking hookah and playing Magic the Gathering w the new Final Fantasy decks w Brown that Jeremiah bought.
6/23 Monday got up working on offers all morning. Hit Chinatown for a quick haircut at Room 209. Longest wait l ever had in my life on getting a haircut. Got bubble tea and Mee Siam from Penang and yooo… still so good. Got my eyebrows did and hit home to chill w Brown. Lit the hookah and bummed for a bit. Me and SteveC hit Brown’s to go through more of his cards to find stuff we need for these premodern decks. Found a bunch of stuff, thank you Brown. Hit back home to play more games of Mtg w SteveC w the Final Fantasy decks. They’re mad fun but easily the Sephiroth deck is better than the Cloud deck. Esp you’re spending so much mana on dropping equipments and then equipping just to have the creature removed. I dropped Cloud twice to watch him get Overkill’ed right after. These moments are fun w Magic tho. I also like the balance and power levels of these decks arent absurd.
Hit my Mom’s afterwards for dinner. Finding more old Magic the Gathering cards to go through. Had a nice dinner w my mom. Nothing crazy. Find more old stuff from room. Old notes passed around from high school. Had a whole shoebox full of them. Going through old yearbooks, reading all the signatures.
Hit home and joined the roomies for watching Kpop Demon Hunters which yooo, l really liked it. The music was really good, the story was fun and what you’d expect. Def adding a bunch of the songs to my spotify playlist. Ended the night playing Nightreign all night.
Tues got up late and Brown came over to chill for a lil. Headed out and hit up Anita’s birthday. Happy Birthday Anita!!! Dinner was at Almyra in Philly and yooo the food was really solid. Got lamb and a kabob that was ridiculously good. Binh got a cake as well. I really like this squad a lot. They keep it more tight but that’s not a bad thing. We hit Bar Ly next for drinks and shots. It was actually getting us pretty quickly as green tea shots are tasty but dangerous. Also really nice meeting Binh’s cousin who was mad cool. Sophia and her group came by Bar Ly by chance and there was a lot of small connections of everyone knowing everyone but at the same time, lm not surprised. It still is a bit surprising how small the world is and who knows who by chance. Hung out late w everyone and dropped everyone off afterwards. Got home to just playing Nightreign all night into weds.
Weds still up, playing Nightreign and watching youtube. Finally knocking out at 2pm. Got up at 7pm to Brown waking me up to chill. Hit downstairs to play against Brown and later Steve in Mtg. Lit the hookah and had a chill night. MattK came to visit too. Just chilled all night and then later on just got on Nightreign allll night again. Each game is just a lot of time and the time flies by SO FAST cause youre quickly optimizing nonstop and rushing to the next place. Any sitting and thinking is wasted time. Im constantly looking at my inventory while running to my next location at once. Watched a lil youtube and slept at 6am.
Thurs got up for house showings w Hong and his girlfriend. I met Hong at my place through Paula years ago when Paula lived at the house. We checked out a few rentals and find a few good options. Esp as some buildings had multiple different units to pick from.
Hit home to chill for just a lil. Got on Nightreign and first game w Raider, beat the new Extra Hard Darkdrift Knight. Headed out to The Lab and took 3rd of 10 players in Street Fighter 6, 2 wins, 2 losses. Thank you for ordering the chinese food Mike. Eric and Kristine came through and introduced them to everyone for the Evo Squad we got going. Def really hype for Evo.
Got home and just played Nightreign all night till 530am.
Friday still up, got Anita and Binh and brought them to the airport. Slept for a lil and then back out at 2pm for house showings. Slept again till 7pm and then got up for Magic the Gathering w the guys for a while. Alex’s friend Ryan, Adam Steve and Brown all came for Commander and Premodern. Whipping out old decks to see new light again. Its crazy how premodern is about 2 years old but its picking up big time cause l think a lot of people miss Magic the Gathering before the power creep got too out of control. Just a full night of games till 1am and then played Nightreign all night.
Sat got up at 11am and hopped in Adam’s car. Me Adam Steve and Brown had a full day out. Hit a huge card shop/hobby shop spot in Cherry Hill and found a good amount of the cards l needed for the pre-modern decks lm building. Got boxes, deck boxes, mad sleeves and a smaller dice box. Hit a korean spot to stuff face w wings and omurice but they didnt do the egg right lol. Oh well. We hit another smaller card shop afterwards but they didnt really have anything and then a final spot for icecream and water ice lol. We’re adults. Its a good life.
Hit back to my place and we finally played Limited Draft w these older cards l won years ago, one set being Magic 2019 so we could enjoy and crack packs. Got really lucky on some money cards. Some dual lands which are always useful. Had fun playing Mtg all night and glad we’re going through everything w Adam getting back into it. Eric and Kristine got back and ended up watching some of the Popstar Academy show. Ended up knocking out at 10pm
Sunday got up early and did real estate work in the morning followed by eating the korean food leftovers. I love leftovers. Watching Ironheart and youtube while smoking hookah and then played some Nightreign for a lil before house showings all evening.
Headed out and first had house showings w Pirin and George and checked out a few spots and followed it with house showings w Brandon and Julie. Whole evening looking at homes. Got home to do more research on the homes that were liked. Played some more Nightreign w Jeremiah and then more youtube food and hookah till 530am.
6/30 Monday got up late and MattK visits. ‘Yo… get up’ exact words l feel like everytime. Just youtube, hookah and played him in Street Fighter 6 against his Elena. Matt is just a smart player in general. Its not just fighting games so I def learn more playing against him. Talking w him, he just gets it so its always fun playing against him in anything.
SO WASTEFUL HE DOESNT COMPETE ANYMORE.
Later on, mad tomato soup w motz sticks and grilled cheese. And yoo it looked good from this IG post that made me want it but then when l made it, it looked like lunch for an elementary school… Was still good though! Late night played Nightreign all night followed by watching Ironheart into Tuesday.
Tues got up late and worked on offers and booked more homes. Just w youtube on the side doing work and chilling. Later Ryan Brown and Adam came over to chill. Jeremiah and SteveC joined and just made food, lit the hookah and watched a bunch of Daredevil Born Again. So glad this show is back. I like my Street level Superheroes. I find it more interesting.
Ended the night w more real estate work, food, hookah and youtube late night.
Weds hit lunch w my parents at Umi. Just stuffed face and caught my parents up w everything going on. Last meal w my parents together for a while since my Dad is going back to China for a while. On my way home, swung by a target and yolo bought a ton of Final Fantasy Magic the Gathering cards lol. Fun cracking mad packs and also got a bunch for SteveC for his birthday. Happy Birthday Steve!! Brown came over to chill too. Played a ton of Premodern games against SteveC and then had work for the evening.
Later on hit downstairs for more games w SteveC and talked bout the game for a while. Then youtube, Nightreign getting 2 wins on the Dark Sov Pest w Executor and Raider and then ended the night w mad youtube.
Thurs got up in the afternoon and did real estate work till I had to go to The Lab. Hit the Lab and went 4 wins, 2 losses and took 3rd of 10 for Street Fighter 6. Had the hookah lit for everyone, sexual harassed my guy friends, talked gaming, Evo and junk all night and had a really good time w everyone.
Got home later to play Nightreign w Jeremiah for a while. Stayed up all night.
Friday early morning, gave Binh a ride to the airport and caught up a lil on everything going on. Hit home to chill, smoke and work on my Slign premodern deck for a while. Slept at 1pm and got up late to hit dinner w my Dad. Just hit my Mom’s house and had a chill dinner w my Dad. Stayed extra long since it wont be till next year till he’s back. Glad my relationship w my parents is so much better now. Cleaned out the garage a lil bit too and it was a nice time w my Dad.
Hit back home and Brown came over to chill for a while. Late night played Nightreign w Jeremiah and watched mad youtube.
Sat got up late and the nerds came through. Adam Brown and Zack were all over to just chill. SteveC came downstairs and hung out till Ryan’s birthday dinner at Nikos. Ryan is crazy bout that place. Happy Birthday Ryan!!! Hit Nikos w the squad and had a really nice but vulgar dinner lol. Just the conversations going on were exactly what l like. There’s too many years of friendships here. Awesome dinner and then hit back to my place to chill. Watching eps of this Netflix show Trainwreck, making jokes and talking bout whatever. A chill background show ya know? Hung out late w everyone but couldnt keep them till 2am lol. Youtube w SteveC, talking deck variations for Premodern and working on the sligh deck w Steve. Another just straight up logically gaming mind. SteveC and MattK are a lot alike in that sense.
Sunday got up late and friends came through. Ryan Zack Brown Adam MattK and Amy all came through. SteveC and Jeremiah came down to chill. Ordered food, Matt and Amy also brought thai curry. And we watched The Ballerina and Squid game Ep 1. Ballerina is so fucking good. I need the John Wick Universe to just keep going. I even liked the tv show though that was much more grounded. Late night after everyone left, just had youtube on while working w ChatGPT on adjusting Magic the Gathering decks.
7/7 Monday still up, eating, smoking, watching youtube and adjusting the Magic the Gathering decks. Finally slept at 11am but didnt really sleep. Just got up at 2pm and continued my day. Took it easy till house showings w Julie and Brandon at 6pm to see a bunch of homes. Hit home to do work for a while and then later the guys came over for more Squid game season 3. Ryan Zack Jeremiah and SteveC joined for 2 more episodes. Did some more work late night before finally passing out.
Tues got up and hit house showings w Hong and his girlfriend in South Philly. Saw a ton of spots but searched through the rain. Got soaked but we atleast found a few solid spots. Hit home to play Street Fighter 6 w RichieL. Been working w him on and off for his Akuma and he just hit Masters which lm happy for him. Played a ton of matches till it was Squid game time. Ryan Zack SteveC and Jeremiah all came to watch 2 more episodes, eps 4 and 5. Making snacks, drinks, hookah and setting up and driving Zack crazy cause l take forever lol. Later on me and SteveC played some Magic the Gathering and then did late night work and deck adjustments.
Weds just had work in the afternoon and took it easy watching youtube and playing Nightreign till the guys came over. Ryan Zack Jeremiah and SteveC joined for finish off Squid game and yooo, l liked it besides the very very end. I think people overreact. We hung out watching more Netflix and youtube late night and just worked on the mtg decks some more w ChatGPT.
Thurs got up and hit up NE Philly w Shemmay to eat. We found some korean spot to stuff face on and went over everything real estate and other junk. Was starving and ate like a mad man. We hit up Hmart next as l needed some junk and ended up buying a ton of shit and then FINALLY - Cafe Clover. So l wanted these taiyaki’s forever now. Its so damn fucking good. Seriously go google cafe clover and go get some taiyaki’s. Writing bout it makes me hungry. Got 4 and destroyed them along w some of Shemmay’s dessert. First time having shaved milk ice whatever but yooo it was really good. In a confusing way but whatever, it was still good. Good hanging w my bestie yayy… No update guys. I always get a few texts ‘tell me some news’ or something along those lines. I’ll figure it out soon enough. Just remember guys, if l ‘die’ and you dont see a body, lm coming back in a few days. Just trying to create vulnerability.
Next hit house showings w Julie and Brandon and saw a few properties. Talking bout anime, other shows and gaming inbetween lol. Next hit up the Lab for Street Fighter 6. Just went 2 wins, 2 losses and took 5th of 9. Good games w everyone and always seeing the squad every week. Hit home to binge the shit outta The Sandman. Such a dope show. Rewatching it cause its great and to recap for season 2 into Friday.
Friday got up late and had a ton of people over to play Magic the Gathering. Alex got some of his friends into and we did a fun Final Fantasy Draft. Alex got some really good cards too. Fun to do a draft. Playing Limited(draft/sealed) is always fun cause there is luck in what you get, skill in what you pick during the passes, skill in the deck creation and of course skill in playing. Also luck in playing since they do draw cards. Had mad fun playing everyone. Went 2 wins, 0 losses against 3 players and was really feeling my deck and asked to play Alex since he had a good record as well. He beat my ass 4 times in a row lol. Felt humbled. Thank you again for bringing them though Alex. Other friends were playing the Gundam card game as well which l had interest in.
Later on after everyone left, cleaned the house, cleaned the hookahs thoroughly and made snow crab legs lol. Stuffed face and watched The Sandman till 815am cause its so good.
Sat slept the day away. Got up at night and just chilled w SteveC and Adam. Making dumplings, smoking hookah and learning to play the Gundam game. Ok so l like it a lot which is bad. I got obsessed. Game is just mad fun, no bullshit. Just some luck and a lot of skill kinda game. Hopefully long term power levels doesnt make this game crazy. Watched some youtube w SteveC before searching for a new PC for a while online.
Sunday still up, just food hookah and youtube combo till 9am. Hopped in the car w Adam Brown and Harris and we hit Collect A Con and found myself some starter decks for Gundam and got 2 of the Aggro Red Green deck and the White Blue deck. There was so much damn pokemon. Had fun card hunting for cards for the premodern decks we’re working on. Brown got me a $25 full foil art lightning bolt that we’ve never seen before. Thanks bae. Had a good time running around. Harris and Adam had to make some sales too which they made out pretty well. We got Wawa on the way back and then hit my place to chill.
Got home to mess w the Gundam cards. Modified the Red Green deck w more of the better stuff. Bummed all evening and played some games w SteveC on Gundam. Worked on an offer for clients and just had a good night w everyone. Ended the night watching The Thunderbolts.
Got home to play more games w SteveC all night and then ended the night w youtube.
Weds still up, couldnt sleep well at all. Just bummed on the PC for a lil. Did some real estate work and worked on the personal to do list for a bit till house showings w Julie and Brandon. Jenna, an old friend is getting into real estate and she joined to shadow house showings. Saw some potential properties and we talked anime and shows like crazy. Good catching up w Jenna again as its been a while. Got home to do real estate work from the showings and then Alex and Adam came over. Kristine came through to chill and SteveC joined to watch youtube and bum. Also watched mad videos on the Gundam card game. We’re all so hype to buy cards lol. Back upstairs later on to do real estate work and calls before finally passing out for real.
Thurs got up late and did work. 5pm got mad slices from peppi’s for me and SteveC so we could nerd out the night. Watching Gundam, eating pizzas and smoking hookah. Later on MattK, Brown and Adam came through. MORE GUNDAM cause we’re all obsessed. Just played games, smoked hookah and took it easy all night. Hung out late and then worked on transferring files to my external drives to prepare for my new pc.
