Sup Guys, fomo been hitting hard.

First off congrats on Vince and Thuy getting married!! Really nice seeing them start dating way back till this point. Kinda always knew they would get married. Im really happy for them and glad they’re back out w us again often as during hardcore covid times, l barely saw them.  I love you guys tehe.

KK so about fomo. There is so much going on. House warming’s. Weddings. Birthdays. Cause of covid, dude. Everyone wants to do everything all the time. And it’s fun but there’s like too much going on. It’s overwhelming. The fomo still hits seeing pics and videos of events where I’m seeing multiple groups of friends together and I’m not there. Some groups I haven’t hung out w in forever that it would’ve been awesome to party w again.

I always talk bout how Philly and nyc Asians that go out alllll have mutual friends. Like if two people meet, if they checked Facebook, they’d have mutual friends. Even at Paola’s wedding, I met people who are friends w my sister. And how it’s funny two groups of friends met each other and became friends separately. I think that’s really cool and it’s just crazy how small the world is because I party w mostly Asians and we’re such a small percentage of the US population so it just kinda makes sense that everyone would be connected.

Anyway, pat few weeks.

10/15 Fri me and Jeremiah couldnt stop watching YOU on netflix for season 3. Knocked out 5 episodes and it was 11am…. Fuck. But l was also too hype for my Halloween event, w ideas and stuff and couldnt get tired. Got up at 4pm to do work for the event and for real estate clients and hit downstairs to bum. Got dinner w AdamW at JB Dawson and we stuffed face w steaks. Talking bout everything and l may get into New World w the Scumbag Squad. I should play something w them in general and this game really has me interested. We’ll see. I need something thats like competitive but not lol. Like just competitive for the sake of being serious but not something l go to tournaments for ya know? A nice middle ground. As for games to play ‘for fun’ l still gotta finish Ghost of Tsushima.

Hit back and dude… my body was aching from lack of sleep. Used the massage gun on myself while watching videos bout AMC and Blackberry stocks and passed out again. Woke up at 230am and hung out w Brando and Alex downstairs for a while.

Chilled till 4am but forced myself to sleep for the big weekend ahead.



Sat got up early and hit Speedway race track. Heng set up a good full day of a joint bachelor/bachelorette party for Vince and Thuy. First was 3 races at Speedway. Had mad fun and l kept coming in 2nd w Vince coming in 1st everytime. They go by your overall best lap. Final race, l was blocking Vince for a while until there was a clusterfuck in which Vince literally just yolo rammed into mess and somehow got out of it lol. Thuy on the other hand would hang on the side and let you pass lol. Played some arcade games but gave the cards to some kids since the credit would expire in 2 days and we werent gonna be back. Note it for the Karma event later.

Afterwards, hit NJ for Sojo spa. Thank you Bobby for driving. I was so dead tired. So, met some girls in line as one forgot her mask. She was pretty cute and it turns out they are from Philly. Ran into the spa, took pics at the infinity pool and saw those same girls again. Had fun running around trying out different things. The rock floor foot massaging thing was ass tho. That shit hurt. Joked around to be a flasher and it stayed funny all day. We were talking so much in sauna’s but yoo… l cant just sit there w a bunch of friends and stay quiet lol lm sorry. Bobby and Sara kept doing different looks w the towel on their head and we were just cracking jokes and laughing in these sauna’s while everyone else is just quiet. Egyptian slave, sailormoon, George washington. I felt bad but whatever, as long as our group had fun, its ok lol. Ended when we found these big massage jets that blast warm water on your shoulders. Stayed there for an hour. Loved it. End of the trip, when we got back to the car, the girls we met earlier were at their car next to us and gave me back the mask. What timing. I bitched out and didnt say anything but totally should’ve invited them out to party w us sometime. I dunno why l didnt. Then in the car Bobby tells me that it seemed like it was easy and l shouldve too and now lm in full regret.

Ended w an amazing dinner at Cast Iron Pot 2. Its a pretty cool way to do kbbq. Stuffed face so hard and had drinks. It was byob. Another table gave us a pretty big soju bottle too as they couldnt finish it and were leaving. What timing. Karma for the gaming cards w gave the kids at Speedway lol. Dinner was dope and l was dead beat. Very happy we got a full day to have fun w Vince and Thuy. Thank you Heng for setting it all up. Got in the car and passed out like crazy. Got home late and just died.

 

Sunday got up for photos for Vince and Thuy’s wedding. Brando was our photographer and yooo he did a really good job. Had A LOT of fun as we just joked around, goofed off, l dunno, it was just fun lol. Did the shoot at the japanese garden thingy around Philly. Good hanging w everyone and then we got pho afterwards. Just stuffed face and then headed out for house showings w Harvey and Sandy. Got home late, hung w everyone as they played D&D for a while and got on COD but no wins, just 2nd and 3rd places. Ended the night watching a ton of YOU. Its seriously Dexter but more for girls lol. Show is awesome.

10/18 Monday was really chill. Just took it easy. Worked in my room all evening as Mondays are my nice productive work at home/no showings day(unless someone needs to see it asap). Later on just got on COD w the guys. Nothing crazy, just games w them and watched Boruto late night.

Tuesday got up and watched Boruto and got mad chinese food. Always solid. Waited in the lobby for the Magfest rooms and yoo… my squad…. Everytime l reminded the group about how we all need to wait in lobby to get a room, no one responded. I felt in the end it would only be me and Bounme actually trying to get a room. Sadly l got a bad spot for once but Bounme got a good spot. We need 2 rooms however. Thankfully, a friend AJ had a group going and Rob already got a room for their squad so AJ waited in lobby for me and got a room for me. Thank you so much AJ.

Afterwards, working on the Halloween event trying to get a venue. The response times of most these managers are so slow. Got on Street Fighter V for a while all night, enjoying figuring out Akira and yoo.. So much going on w her. She’s def a FUN character and l do like playing her. Not sure where l’d put her on the tier list still. Ended the night watching the Naruto movie Will of Fire.

Weds got up late. Worked in bed for the next hour. I love working in bed lol. Ryan and Gunnar came through and we finished up on Alice in Borderlands and started watching the new Baki while eating dumplings and smoking hookah. Good hanging w them as always.

Afterwards got on COD for the Halloween event and yooo…. They did a really good job of it. I REALLY like it a lot. We got a Halloween event win w 0 deaths. We just held high ground and survived. Late night did Street Fighter V w Akira and was in training room like crazy. Its insane how fast breaking down characters can be the more and more l do it. Just knowing what lm looking out for. Worked on her till 930am lol. I know it sounds like ‘work’ but to me its a fun puzzle to figure out.

Thurs still up, couldnt sleep. At 8am, watched Naruto Blood Prison cause lm running through all the Naruto movies lol. Finally napped during the evening and got up at night and hit DavidV’s to watch Dune and hang out. Cracked jokes all night and yoo the movie was pretty dope and now lm mad curious bout the Dune series but yooo its soooo much. I cant read so waiting for ALL the movies to come out(if that happens) will take a while. Ended the night doing late night work.

Friday got up and hit Vince’s to get mad beer to set up for the wedding. Hit the wedding location and help set up, cool the drinks and then we hit the hotel to change. Just had a chill time hanging w everyone as we got ready pretty quick and had some time left over.

Hit the wedding and yoo first off, great work John on being an amazing wedding host. I never seen someone so involved and do just enough but not TOO much to entertain a wedding. Brando did an amazing job also on the photography, for both the pre-pictures and during the wedding. He was snapping like crazy. Dinner was ridiculous as there were so many servings. A LOT of seafood so you know my boner was big lol. Had fun on this find some items game John hosted till Joon shoved me on the floor and bruised my leg. I will seek vengeance when he leasts expects it.

It was dope having a lot of the COD SQUAD come through to hang. Awesome Steve made it and got to meet everyone for the first time besides me. Its funny how long we’ve been playing together that when some of the guys first met for the first time, it doesnt feel like they JUST met in person for the first time. I think thats pretty cool. Whipped out my hookah as the owner was mad cool and let us do whatever we wanted. That venue in general was pretty solid. If l ever do get married, l may just copy what Vince/Thuy did lol.

Had mad fun running around, posing for pictures everywhere. There’s a ton of dumb pics that Brando got that l gotta see too. Music got lit and had fun dancing w everyone for a while and partied till 11pm when it closed up.

Everyone was down to after party even tho we were all beat as shit. Some of the guys did a massive Wendy’s run that ended up taking 40 mins hahaha they got SO MUCH FOOD. Just hung out in the hotel, talking about whatever shit, eating mad wendy’s and smoking hookah till late night w everyone. Thuy was so sad her wedding was over hahahhaaha its so funny cause she seemed so stress before. I told her to just divorce Vince then get back w him and do another wedding. Very happy for Vince and Thuy. We all kinda knew it was gonna happen in time.

Sat got up hung over and had to do real estate work for a lil. Showered up and hit Ngoc’s house warming which we also celebrated Alex’s birthday again. Met some new people and saw some other friends l met through Ngoc a while back. Had fun stuffing face and smoking hookah and bumming while watching some baseball game that a lot of them were hype about. Congrats again Ngoc on your new home!!! Hung out late and hit back home later on to do more work and watch YOU on netflix.

Sunday got up late and did work in the evening and got mad chinese food. Played some Street Fighter V for a while and then played some COD w the guys. Alex and Amanda came over to bum for a while too. Ironed clothes for a while and ended the chill night watching some Girl from Nowhere. Peaceful sunday. Just the way l like it.

10/25 Monday got up early and did work for real estate and booked some homes. Took it easy in the evening and just played COD w the guys till midnight or so. Nothing too crazy. Eating leftovers and junk. Ended the night again watching more Girl from Nowhere.

Tues hit my dentist for some adjustments for my invisalign. Very happy with the progress. Hit back to my area and got a massage as my whole lower back was absolutely dying. Got pokebowl close by after and friends came over for Dumpling Sessions. Just played Street Fighter w Lane, Sam and Jeremiah, making dumplings for a everyone and had the hookah lit as always. Super chill night w the guys. Ended the night again w more Girl from Nowhere lol.

Weds got up late. Really late lol. Hit the movies w RyanW and went to see Last Night in Soho. Was oddly drawn to wanna watch this movie. Def a cool movie and really liked the twist. We hit back to watch Baki and smoke hookah. Did some Street Fighter V late night and then some Girl from Nowhere. Before going to bed, did mad reading and watching on the game Dead by Daylight. Needed a new game to just fuck around w.

Thurs was still up all night. Watching videos about the AMC stock and then it was a new day. Got my eyebrows done and got some Wendy’s and hit home to watch Demon Slayer w MattK and Jeremiah. Finally slept midday.

Got up at night and played COD w the guys for a while. Bought Dead by Daylight and yoo l like it A LOT. I see why this game has such a hardcore following and has been around since 2016 and still going strong. Playing as both Survivor and Killer is both really fun. Its exciting. Scary as survivor w a lot of ‘oh shit oh shit’ moments. Getting all 4 kills as Killer feels so great. Playing as The Oni right now. I’ll see bout other Killers later on. Ended my night watching Explained on Netflix.


Friday got up late. Hit downstairs and watched Jujutsu and then Explained w Jeremiah. Headed out to meet up at Sam and Jon’s place. First time seeing it and very happy for them. A bunch of their neighbors came through and they’re all really friendly. Had some drinks and hookah and then we hit Bury the Hatchet. Yo ok throwing tomahawks and hatchets is actually mad fun. Also throwing the big axe was mad satisfying. Something bout sticking the board just feels great lol. I was def a viking in a past life cause l was on fire lol. Won a lil prize too. The location was mad chill and we had a cool host. Had mad fun w everyone and lm glad l finally got to spend some time w Sam and Jon again(besides Vince/Thuy’s wedding but we only got to hang a lil).

Afterwards, hit a small Halloween party in Manayunk. Just had drinks, smoked hookah and ate mad pizza. Partied till around 3am w everyone hit back to bum and watch more Jujutsu.

Sat got up at 6pm… god damn it. Hit David’s Halloween party which a lot more people than expected came through. Met some new people, had mad drinks and just in general had a really good time partying w everyone. I was just grabbing bottles and sneaking behind people, taking my left hand to cover someone’s eyes and pull their head back and pour liquor down their throat. I was calling myself the Bottle Assassin lol. There was so much Naruto related costumes lol. Part cause we had an Akatsuki squad for Ezoo. Partied till late and it was good seeing the squad as always.
 

Sunday slept in hard. Had a chill night. Did a lil real estate work and then later on jumped on COD w the guys. Posting pics and stuff on Facebook and tagging everyone so they can untag themselves later lol. Stayed up allll night playing a fuckton of Dead by Daylight lol. Dude… this game is mad dope. Watched some Boruto into Monday.

11/2 Monday still up, hit closing for ChrisW. Closing went really well and congrats Chris on your new home. Crazy how long ago we played poker and talked about him buying a house till now lol. Left and hit house showings with WillP and saw some potential investment properties.

Got home to chill. Was so tired waking up early. Got on COD w the guys and played till a bit past midnight then ended the night w some Dead by Daylight.

Tues got up late and hit my office for gifts the team/office gave us for the new office. The new office is really nice. Def really happy. Got some pizza hut and hit home to chill w Brown and watch the Chapelle Stand Up which l really liked.

Later on got on COD w the guys for a while and then bummed the rest of the night. Watching Girl from Nowhere. I love the Nanno laugh. Something bout it even though its so fake.

Weds got up and took it easy in the afternoon. Hit Zack/Marisa’s new spot and played poker w everyone. Had mad fun and was doing really well. Turning $20 to $55 but then l started to play like an idiot and lost it all lol. Welp… Good hanging w everyone though and finishing up Girl from Nowhere w Jeremiah. I really really like that show. Its just fun lol. Watching youtube late night on gaming and AMC/BB stock.

Thurs got up and played some Dead by daylight in the afternoon and later on hit dinner. Got Vince Thuy Nicah and David and then met up w Sam and Jon and had a really nice dinner together at Far East Descendant(Long’s new restaurant). Burch and Yan swung by to say whats up too and also Brandon just happened to be there as that dude is everywhere. Dinner was chill and its good to just take it easy w the squad. Im glad to see Sam and Jon again more often. We got bubble tea afterwards before hitting home. Got on COD for a while and then did some Street Fighter V. Watched some youtube and Netflix into Friday.

Friday still up, MattK came through to hang out and we watched a lot of the Capcom Pro Tour of Japan along w Jeremiah. Finally slept at 230pm and got up at 7pm. ChrisH came to visit as he was coming to NEC for the weekend too. Played some Street Fighter V w him and watched more Capcom Pro Tour. Got chinese food and ended the night w friends over to watch Dune.

Sat got up early. Really early. Smoked hookah and hung out downstairs w Chris and then we hit NEC 2021. Got great parking and got in the venue. Chris did really well making it past pools but l sadly went 1-2 aisdughasihga happens. The venue was REALLY dope though. Love new furniture and set ups. It was just spacious enough that people are banging into the back of your seat. Really well lit, breathable. Furniture was really dope and in general, lm really happy the Philly FGC is getting nicer things lol. Along w Sector X as a new spot, dude, its really nice lol. Got to see mad friends. Just hung out all over the place. Watching friends play in a variety of games. It was cool that the spectator spot could watch 4 games at once. I was able to watch multiple friends at once rather than needing to go to that area. Some friends at other majors, l would totally miss their streamed match cause lm focused on Street Fighter but its cool to be able to see and cheer on friends in other games while also being able to keep up to speed w the Street Fighter bracket.

Friends were winning overall this weekend too.

Afterwards, hit back home to bum for a while. Was so tired from waking up so early. Later headed out to Voix for StevenZ’s bday. A bunch of us met up and had fun drinking and celebrating for Steven. Glad things are going better for Voix. Covid really just hit so hard after Voix just opened up way back late 2019 into early 2020.

Drank a bit too much. Esp for how little l ate all day. Good seeing some friends l used to see at Voix often and catching up big time. Really nice being back there again and partied till 2am.

Stopped by JWL after since cause of Daylight Saving Time gave us an extra hour to party.  Got a table, ran around making rounds saying hey to everyone. It was also Yulia’s birthday and did a shot of tequila at her table. Happy Birthday Yulia!! Met new people at the end of the night and had a fun time even if it was just an hour.

Got home late to chill before going to bed and sleeping hard from being awake all day and so much drinking.

Sunday l slept allll day. Got up later to hang out w Jeremiah and MattK for a lil and was just aching and had a headache lol. Went back to sleep cause lm broken and got up later at 6pm to do work for a lil for real estate. Hit downstairs again to hang out people. Got on COD for a lil and got a win w the squad and was just on youtube nad bullshitted all night into Monday cause my life is random.

11/8 Monday got up late. Did real estate work and smoked hookah and then headed out to get groceries. Trying to buy and cook more. Even though the time may not be worth it. The price of food at restaurants is going up to a point where its like…. ‘Ok now lm just tossing away money ordering out’. I try to do one meal I buy, one meal I cook. I try to keep the price under $20 and if its more than $20, it’ll be 2 meals worth. But now…. Its like just getting high for nothing. And l feel like quality has been going down too.

Anyway, l got McDonalds lol, old reliable. Stuffed face and played COD Warzone w the guys for a while and ended the night playing the COD Vanguard story. Not too bad, nothing tooo crazy. A few quirky things about it and enjoyable.

Tuesday got up for house showings w Tony. Saw some potential homes but the last one was easily the best one. Good hanging as always. Hit home to do more real estate work real quick before Dumpling Sessions at my house. Just Street Fighter V matches w Sam and JeremiahR. Going over the Dhalsim matchup like crazy. Made mad dumplings, smoked hookah. Usual dumpling sessions night. Ended up again staying up all night lol. Me and JeremiahW started the League of Legend show which lm really liking.

Weds slept all day. Got up late and RyanW came through. Made burgers. One w this new tangy burger sauce and another one for each of us, including Jeremiah, that was a shroom swiss burger. There’s so many ways to do burgers. I love it. I really like the shroom swiss but l dunno… I think its just a once in a while kinda burger for me. Ive been really liking it w the poached egg.

We watched a ton of Baki and had a nice chill night. Later on finished up the COD Vanguard campaign. Not bad, nothing mind blowing or ridiculous. Just a game. Ended up staying up all night playing Dead by Daylight while hanging w Jeremiah. Switching to The Cannibal which is working out much better for me. Im just not good w The Oni’s power. The Cannibal’s power is very simple and effective and helps w my hooked camping playstyle.

Thurs got up late and got food from Bonefish Grill. Mehh… never going back. Its just blahhh for nothing. $45 gone for meh. Got on Cod Warzone w the guys and yoo…. Rough night. 2 2nd places, 2 3rd places but couldnt close it out. Happens. Played Dead by Daylight late and fuckk that game is so addicting. Watching and finishing up on Jujutsu Kaisen into Friday.

Friday was still up for a lil bit and slept in the morning. Got up in the afternoon to get work done for friends and hit downstairs to chill. More Dead by Daylight and later on friends came through. SteveC made it over cause l gotta yell at him always to hang. RyanW came through too along w Brando and Alex later. Showing them Dead by Daylight, talking bout all sorts of random shit and got some in my game footage lol. Later on got pizza and garlic knots and pepperoni knots and downloaded Shang Chi. We watched that cause the movie is awesome while stuffing face and smoking hookah. Very chill night. Ended the night w a lot of Dead by Daylight.

Reading articles and what people are saying on reddit and other forums. The community is soooo sensitive on what you should do POLITELY to the opposing side so ‘EVERYONE HAS FUN’ WTFFFFFFF…. It is a Killer vs Survivors game. Why the fuck would the Killer intentionally and mentally take note “I hurt hooked player A once, l should make sure to hook Players B C and D before I hook Player A again so it’s not a bad experience for them’. WTF NOOOOO. People are also mad at facecamping or camping hooked players at a distance w Insidious. EASY SOLUTION - if you know its happening cause you got jumped once, go do generators and win the game. The Killer is banking on someone coming to save the hooked player. If no one comes for a while, you knock out a few generators, then come squad deep to unhook and use abilities to make an escape, theres a HUGE lead for the survivors. The shit lm reading is SOOO Coddling. Like its absolutely ridiculous what people expect…. FROM THE ENEMY!!! Imagine if these people actually joined the military.

The point of EVERY GAME IS TO WIN. ‘No it should be to have fun’. No bitch… Figuring out HOW TO WIN and playing people is the fun part. Winning is fun. In real life, ACTUAL REAL LIFE, when does someone say ‘we got destroyed but atleast we had fun!!’ No… that shit isnt even in fiction.

OK rant over. I just hate babies. Turns out a lot of things l like doing in this game is ‘toxic’. Its me vs 4 people and lm doing what l need to do in order to win. There are counters to each of these plays. And the counter isn’t anything ridiculously hard. All lm doing is countering the VERY BASIC survivors gameplan and typical reactions.

Sat morning, we rewatched the second half of Shang Chi w Jeremiah and Brando since Jeremiah died halfway into the movie. Watched some youtube and passed out at lunch time. Got up at 10pm and hung out downstairs. Was thinking of going out but l was way too beat. Hung out w Jeremiah and Brando downstairs. Watching trailers for EVERYTHING coming out in the next 2 years. Disney is ridiculous w everything Marvel and Star Wars. Stayed up allllll night playing a ton of Dead by Daylight. Dude the game is so fucking good. Its soooo adddiciting. Building my survivor perks up and l decided how l wanna run my survivor.

Sunday still, just playing Dead by Daylight. Watching videos on the side. Had a full day. Got work done. Got grocery shopping done. Made this banging pasta spinach w pesto dish. God lm such a dope chef when l find time. Had a REALLY GOOD FULL DAY. Its kinda crazy like… how productive l can be and how much time l have when l really like, calm down lol. I dont regret any of my past for partying so much but a full chill weekend was nice. This is how you know lm getting old lol. Redbull Kumite for Street Fighter V was up and yoooo REDBULL DOES SUCH A GOOD FUCKING JOB on everything. But yoo, my friend RobTV, lm really really happy for that guy. Crazy we became friends during Street Fighter 4 days from our Akuma Facebook group and then now we’re at the end of Street Fighter V. He was def the most entertaining of the commentators but yo in general, it was just really well done. How they were all so positive, professional, had jokes. EVEN ZHI wasnt bad at all. I use to ABSOLUTELY HATE Zhi’s commentary and was so glad he disappeared years ago. Jeremiah said to give him a chance and fully unbiased, he did a good job. Small clever one time jokes. Nothing ‘too try hard look how up to date w pop culture l am’. But yoo RobTV just brings hype very well. As a player and commentator and just making videos in general, dude its SOO insane how much has happened to him the past few years. Also, him and BrianF on youtube make a very solid entertaining duo on their videos on Street Fighter.

Ended up passing out early at 7pm.

11/15 Monday got up EARLY and had a productive day kinda. Did work, played Dead by daylight, made breakfast and lunch. MattK came through to chill w us for a while too. Very chill full day. Later at night, went to dinner w Chris Jenny and Pui. Thanks for the dinner guys!! We hit Ginza and yooo the food was banging. Lowkey really nice spot in south philly. Had shots of soju and just stuffed face w a bunch of different orders. Dinner was really nice and always good hanging w everyone.

Hit back to play COD. Odd team combo as so many people were to get on, l did the late night crew since l had dinner. Me Kenny Joon and Peter lol… yeaaa what a squad. Well… we actually got a 1st and 2 2nds in 5 games lol. How?! This squad?! Cause Joon has easy lobbies lolololol. That low KD gave us the variation we needed lol. Killing was easy. Just small screw ups or bad circle luck positioning when circle 8 appears and its the opposite end of where we are in circle 7. You know, the game’s favorite move against. Its always literally the opposite direction of us. Not even to the side or diagonal. Just straight of all 360 degrees, you are at the one perfectly wrong spot. Good games.

Ended the night w some Dead by Daylight and watching some of the League of Legend show w Jeremiah. Passed out before 2am, like a contributing human in society.
