Sup Guys, it’s weird I know but being at a house party or club/lounge is actually where I feel most relaxed.

Something about the atmosphere puts me to ease. Probably because I’m surrounded by friends just looking to have fun. And the music is loud and hype. You’d figure I’d be going apeshit but I guess age is catching up. Well besides the last Johnnie trip, I was an animal.

You’d think being at home would be most relaxing but l need people lol.

KK so past 2 weeks.

6/17 Monday was still up all night reading gaming news and bullshitting around. Dunno how l kill tons of hours late night each night like this but l do. Did work in the morning and hit Wells Fargo later on. Got some food at Giant and ate and watched Ancient Aliens. Good start to a week.

Finally bed time. Got up in the evening to get dinner w my parents for a late Father’s Day dinner. Took a while but l l dont hate my parents anymore. Dinner was nice and stuffed face w a nice steak. Happy Father’s Day Dad.

Hit home and Brando, MattK and Chris were playing Lovers in Dangerous Space and hopped in to help them out. Game is still fun. Played for a while and then later bummed. Played some Street Fighter V and then we watched some Planet Earth.

Late night made lobster tails and stuffed face while watching Ancient Aliens. I love this show.
 


Tues just took care of work in the evening into FGC night. Friends came through and just played some Street Fighter V against Erico’s trash ass Zangief and against Titus’ Alex. Im jkkkk Erico’s Zangief isnt too bad. Bummed w the guys talking bout a ton of nerd shit. Ended the night staying up all night bullshitting away and ordering close to $600 worth of shit on Amazon cause l got $500 in Amazon Gift Cards from Wells Fargo Credit Card Rewards. Yayyyy stuff!!!

 

Weds got up in the evening and drove Chris to the train station. Hit Hmart to get some shit and made bulgogi w rice. Made a ton as l knew the guys would want some. Brando and Jeremiah came to chill. Stuffed face w bulgogi watching Jessica Jones as the new and final season is out. Sad Netflix is ending that whole Marvel line. I’ve always liked it.

Did work for a lil and then jumped on COD BO4 w the guys and we won 2 games. Sometimes things just go so damn smoothly in that game. All bout that final circle. Later cooked more. This time a lemon buttery garlic shrimp broc pasta. Thats long named dish. Ima call it yumyum shrimp pasta. Hung w the guys for a lil before they went to bed.

Ate more cause lm fat while watching some Jessica Jones and just organizing my room a bit more. Feels soooo good having so much organized. Also a lot of my real estate to do list and my personal to do list is shortening. It feels REALLY good cutting down these lists. Like yes it keeps me organized but also, its kinda stressful always looking at these lists. Seeing them short feels nice. Getting done all my shit. Watching Insidious the last key on the side and reading gaming news and watching Samurai Shodown footage into the morning.

 
Thurs was gonna be a productive day but l couldnt get outta bed. Slept till 6pm wtffff dude. Got up to quickly catch up on work but luckily…. A LOT of shit is already done. My to do lists being so little feels sooooo good!! Most the stuff still on there is like long term stuff, like getting invisilign, car wax and trying to pop out a lil dent. Like important stuff is done. I LOVE having to do lists on my google docs. Anything l gotta worry bout, l write it down and forget bout it till l got time to work on the list.

Hit downstairs to play COD BO4 and we were getting sooo many 2nd places. 5 of them in the first hour. Then we started getting wins again. We even lost to someone hitting and outliving us w outlander and possibly consumer on. Then we went for it and then just killed everyone two games back to back. Good games w Peter Beezer and Vince. Brando, MattK and Alex were also over. Made them bulgogi and rice and we lit the hookah as they played games on the big tv. Hopped on Street Fighter V and was on a tear. Played against my friend RobTV against hit Necalli as well. Glad to see he’s really blowing up over the past 2 yrs. Got a new highest ranked amount of points and l just like… get it. Match up knowledge and more footsies tricks is all lm trying to learn. This is gonna apply well to Samurai Shodown.

Playing SamSho w Jeremiah and loving it. Then lots of testing. Figuring out the purpose of each button, each special, the general gameplan ect.





Friday got up in the evening and took care of some work. These closings need to come sooner. Packed my stuff and me Jeremiah Vince and Thuy headed out to Maryland. Got popeyes and hit Goof’s for a chill night. Alice and Amanda came through and we played The Resistance which was a lot of fun. The girls played us soooo bad in the 3rd game when they were all spies. Alice and Thuy’s fighting continued and also the 2nd mission where Amanda and Thuy were both on it and only one put failed totally lead to my groups of where the spies were totally off. Had a lot of soju and of course the hookah was lit. Def a lot of fun and glad Alice and Amanda drove so far again just to see meeeeeeeee… They said it was for Jackie but after The Resistance, l cant trust them. Jackie made it over just as Amanda and Alice were leaving and we played Jackbox 3. Jeremiah won a lot. Faker and Murder mystery being the main games of the night. Ended the night chilling and catching up on my gaming news before sleeping.

Sat got up at 10am and lit the hookah and we watched Ali Wong’s other stand up on Netflix. I really love her. She doesnt give a fuck. We hit Bounme’s Last BBQ and lm pretty sad. Gonna miss that place and gonna miss Bounme being around as he is moving to Seattle. Bounme of course made banging ass food and yooo the chicken was so damn good. A lot of friends came through and its pretty nuts how much history is within this group overall. Been friends w Bounme for 8 years now and thinking of it, theres a lot of friendships l have there that are over a decade long. Domkey and Ryan being the longest being 20 yrs now. Time flew by. Just bummed all day, eating, smoking and drinking. The combo for any big gathering.

Hit the bboy bbq jam afterwards. Toyz was one of the judges, Fleg was DJing and Goof was MCing. Some old friends were entered in and yooo caught up w so many people. I do want to visit more bboy jams cause I’ve made a ton of great friendships during my time as a dancer. Got drinks and hung out all evening. Watching some of the battles and just had a great time being w everyone.

Afterwards, got korean bbq at Jon Kak where we stuffed face and l got a new spoon lol. They hate it but l love building my collection. Hit home late and got in to play more of the Samurai Shodown demo. Me and Jeremiah were testing SOOOO many questions I had in my head. The testing put my mind at rest. Chris helped out too when he got in. Def playing Genjuro. He’s got everything he needs, hits hard and has some set ups and nice mix ups. He feels like the Akuma of this game. He’s also the rival of the protagonist Haohmaru too. Ended the night watching Black Mirror.

 










Sunday got up late and did some work, booked some homes and friends were over playing games. Just did mad testing on Samurai Shodown and chilled w the guys till late. Chris woke up late and we watched Hi Score Girl, an anime about gamers in the 90s and then neon genesis evangelion which we both never saw into Monday morning.



6/24 Monday was still up and did work all morning. Watching Samurai Shodown clips and then hit Home depot to get tools and hit BJs for food. Got home to do more work and chilled w ChrisH for a while. Took a nap and got up late to do house showings w Joy and Will and saw one home we really like. Went home to do research on the home and ate and played COD BO4 w the guys but we only got 1 win.
 
Tuesday got up and yooo Samurai Shodown came out!!! LOVING ITTT!!!!1!11 Its my kinda game. Slow methodical decision making. Everyone talks about how they like the thinking process of the game.

Later the guys came over for FGC night and a lot of the guys were really into it. We had a 20 man tournament which l won. I ended up facing Antiquarius in finals and he 2-0’d me but l forgot its first to 3. I won the next 3 games for the win. Good games everyone. Using Genjuro because he has all tools to be well rounded but hits harder. Kinda like Akuma. He is the rival of the main character of the game w more options and hits harder so he really is like the Akuma of the game in that sense. FGC night was a lot of fun and we were breaking down the game big time. So fast how we can figure out stuff together. We had 5 set ups running.

Weds started the day off w work for all these closings coming up. 4 so far set. The most I’ve ever had at one moment. Really chill day. Just hung w ChrisH, eating food and we started watching Neon Evangelion. We really like it a lot. Did work and played more Samurai Shodown all night. Wasnt finding many good players. You can rematch someone in ranked as much as you want and sure, l could rack up wins but after 3 wins, ld leave as l wasnt learning anything and I had the Lab’s tournament the next day. Found a good Galford who was just using mix ups on me nonstop and beating me so l ended up playing w him for 1.5 hours.



Thurs got up late and hit up The Lab and entered the Samurai Shodown tournament. Me and Boom both using Genjuro. Won my first match against a Galford. GOOD THING I PLAYED THAT GALFORD FOR 1.5 HOURS LAST NIGHT!! Beat the player 2-0 and then lost to Boom but some mistakes and put in losers. Beat Kyle then lost to a Charlotte. Boom ended up winning and I took 4th. Afterwards…. I played the guys who took 2nd and 3rd and beat them both 3-0. Bad luck on my end but no prize for 2nd and 3rd anyway. So all that matters is 1st place. I gotta get my DPs on reaction on point which is easier since l can do qcf twice to get a dp motion out which is easier from crouching state. Had a lot of fun and played a ton of people. Showing other players the game and people were really loving it.

Ended up hanging w Brando Alex MattK Chris and Jeremiah late night doing Samurai Shodown like all night and watching clips. Testing stuff and lm glad lm surrounded by a bunch of smart friends to come up w ideas of how to punish things and get around some stuff in this game.

Friday got up late and did work before chilling w Jeremiah and Brando. Lit the hookah and watched Black Mirror and then headed out.

Got Jordyn and her friends Rylee and Molly and we hit up ChrisC’s pregame. Did some shots and smoked hookah and then hit Noto and got my fav table 110. Just a lot of space to dance and also a lot of space to dance up high. Me and the girls were all talking in the car how much better it is to dance ontop of shit.

Did shots and danced all night. Im glad the overall group is just dancing more and socializing less when we’re out. Socializing is for pregame and after parties. Noto was a lot of fun and we didnt finish all our bottles again sidghdghlkahga lm too cheap for this lol.

We had an after party and just got food, lit the hookah and some of the guys were drinking. Stayed late before hitting home. We got wawa on the way back and then ate and lit the hookah while watching Black Mirror w Jeremiah. We later on finally watched Always be my Maybe which I REALLY LIKED A LOT! I really like Ali Wong’s humor. Since she was a writer for Fresh off the Boat, if you like that show, you’ll like this movie and her stand up. There is a good amount of slapstick but the slapstick is so good.

Me and Jeremiah testing a lot of stuff in Samurai since frame data and detailed info on moves arent out anywhere on the internet yet. Stayed up so late that CEO was on and we started watching that tournament along w Chris all into the morning.

 


Sat still up watching CEO and eating till 1130am lol. This is why l have a sleeping problem. Slept finally and got up and got David Vince and Thuy and we hit up Elwyn’s NJ home for his bday. A lot of friends came through and made some new friends. Lit the hookah, had drinks and the food was really good. We started playing a new drinking game thats horse racing w cards depending on which suit comes out. We’re suppose to bet shots but the 1st game we bet $1s. Game 2 someone did $20 and then yea… we ended up playing $20 per horse lol. But it got hype. Every card is a rush what it’ll be. Def was exciting and played a bunch of games going even. Happy Birthday Elwyn. Was really happy a lot of people came out and l really like a lot of the people l met through him over the past 2 yrs. Good job Bean really taking care of the party as always. She’s a really good host. Lost to David in $5 bet in beer pong on the last cup. Hit the inside of the last cup 6 times in a row… WTFFFFF!!! Lit the hookah again and chilled out back w friends late.

Hit home and hung w Jeremiah till 6am watching Imposters and smoking hookah.

 



Sunday got up and hit house showings w Joy and Will and saw a potential home that needs some new floors. Hit Marisa’s new place to help move in but they just finished as l got there. Got a hoagie and hit back home and the guys were over watching CEO. Watched Top 8 of Street Fighter V, Samurai Shodown and Mortal Kombat 11. The guys ended up playing Samurai Shodown and board games while l chilled, writing in this blog and bullshitting. Got maddd Amazon stuff.. $600 worth of stuff since l had $500 in gift cards from Wells Fargo credit card rewards points. New air filter for the hookah as it sucks up all the smoke. New air fryer and a bunch of small things. Ended the night doing more Samurai Shodown.



 


7/1 Monday got up early as balls and hit closing. Congrats Phil and Kristen on selling your home. The buyer was a really nice guy and lm happy all around on how smoothly things went in this transaction.

Hit Chinatown and got my haircut and got Bonchon to go. Hit my office to turn in the closing and hit home to do work. Real good start to a Monday. Ate Bonchon and watched a ton of Jessica Jones. Played Samurai Shodown online and didnt find any good players. Wish the ranking system could only pit you against other players your rank. I’m not learning shit. I literally beat everyone l played and got off to play COD BO4 w the guys lol. Had fun and we aimed for getting as many kills as we could rather than wins with 20 kills total as a team being our max.

Ended the night playing this game l was interested in called Hell Divers. Me Chris Jeremiah and Brando were running through the game till we found the hardest level possible to see how hard it was which we couldnt get past.

 

Tues got up mad late. Was so tired from Monday. Did house showings w Joy and Will and saw a really nice home in Holland that seemed to be pretty popular. There was showings before and after us. Hit home to do work and then hit downstairs for FGC night.

Mad friends made it through and some of my new friends I made at The Lab on thurs also came. Made dumplings w the new air fryer and fried rice. Salsa and chips and also lit the hookah. Lots of Samurai Shodown along w other games and Jeremiah did a mystery tournament which I took 3rd being 2 different games. First being Pillow Fight which is a crazy totally broken game.

Great having a new game that me and some of the guys who didnt play games against each other(because we play different games) are now guys l share tech w and play w. Boom and Antiqurious being on my level who l like playing and talking w about Samurai Shodown. MattK is also really good for that stuff but for all games. Hung out late and caught on my gaming news while hanging w the guys and it was in general a great Tues.

Ended the night… well watching MAD EPISODES OF IMPOSTERS w Jeremiah cause we CANT STOP… Started at 230am…..

.. ended at 9am… But we finished Season 1!!!!

Weds woke up late and hit BJs to get mad stuff for July 4th bbq. Hit home and hung w Jeremiah. We were both playing our games. Did some cod bo4 w the guys getting a win and then samurai shodown for a while beating a ton of mindless players and then Brando and Chris came back.

We watched on Netflix a movie that did amazingly well in China called The Wandering Earth project I really liked. Watching some speed runs and then drove my mom to the train station at 415am.
