I re-give that piece of advice that if you do your best and circumstances out of your control occur and things dont go as planned, you know you atleast did the best you could and not to be upset about it.
But hearing a friend say it to me, I realize it’s not so easy.
A lot of negative stuff has been happening at once. It’s kinda helpless knowing there is nothing I coulda done to prevent it. Some serious stuff, some minor ‘ughh wtf’ moments, changes I’m not going to like and just how I’m put so low on the priority list for other people including my family(even though my relationship with my parents is getting much better).
Thankfully, just with talking to a lot of friends. Brown, Vince, the guys over my house, Shemmay, Tina, my sister and some other friends, l’m staying slightly positive. That whole concept of ‘you cant control things that happen to you but you can control how you react’ is very true. Maybe this is all a good thing. A little motivator for some positive change. Not everything that has happened def pushes me in that direction as some shit is just SHIT that just happens but we’ll see in the next few weeks.
Luck is really strange term since a lot of what happens to someone is just a result of a chain of events that we don’t really see, so we see something as bad luck or good luck. Obviously if you put yourself in a good position and something good happens, that was likely. Not good luck. But then there are moments where something just HAPPENS ya know? Something good or bad. The whole thing with going into determinism, free will, fate and all of that is in the end…. You end up with a big ass headache thinking bout it. I would know. I wrote a 25 research paper for my Philosophy graduation on the topic and I am STILL lost with how l feel on the topic lol.
Anyway…. In the end…. I’m actually just big spoiled greedy kid cause in the big picture, l have my friends, my careers, a home and car lm very happy with, a lot of freedom and a lot of fun and l really shouldnt be complaining.
I’m just waiting for that really lucky thing to happen to me soon where I’m happy about all the bad things that recently happened to me. Something that makes it all worth it.
I’m going to Vegas on weds. Just gotta win $5 million and l’ll be satisfied. $5 Million after taxes. If l can’t get that, l’ll accept a cute rich girlfriend lol.

Tues still up, got Vince at 5am for the airport. Got home and couldnt stop watching Baki again. GOD its so good. Just awesome fights. Good simple story. Got up in the evening and just worked. Small shit going down but l’ll solve it. Headed out to house showings w Joy and Will. Saw a home we really like and hung out for a while. Watching Stephanie play the drums, piano and pool. Def a nice evening.
Got shisha, then dumplings, then gas and hit home to set up and clean up and light the hookah and make mad dumplings for everyone. Made 4lbs of dumplings and just had a lil Samurai Shodown tournament and took 4th aiodsghoaihsdgoiahgoi really messed up in some games. Played some Street Fighter V and talked bout all sorts of shit. Booked homes for the next day and then back down to hang w the guys.
Cleaned the house and me and ChrisHouse watched the show House lol. Ate food and icecream and did gaming news. Also found a new excel spreadsheet w better Samurai Shodown frame date. No active or recovery frames of invic info and stuff like that but enough that really helps. Also found a wiki that is really good for info. Studying while smoking hookah w Jeremiah and watching Netflix.
Weds got up early and visited Lynn since l missed her birthday. Met her cousin Miranda and the 3 of us went out for food and drinks around their area. We hit this cool spot where you pour as much beer as you want and it charges this card that charges you for how much you poured so you can taste test a lot. Me and Miranda liked a lot of the fruity beers lol. The Tea Tax which is a lemon beer didnt even taste like beer. I really liked it a lot. We ordered food and caught up on a lot. Hit upstairs for the arcade games and just messed around some games. The girls beat me in foosball aisghioahgioahgioa the last 2 points were so quick. I dunno what happened. Played some other older games and it was a really nice chill time. Glad we got to find time to chill.
Afterwards l visited my god grandmother Nancy since she only lives 15 mins away. Really nice that a big trip was totally fine since l got to see so many people. Danny and Sharon were home as well and we caught up for a few hours. Talking bout just everything and l think its pretty cool my grandma is on facebook and stuff. My parents are getting more into social media too. Me and my grandmother went over some stuff on facebook. Bout sending messages, audio and video chat and sending pictures in messages and how to save and a ton of stuff. We went over filters last which she enjoyed. We had fun going through it before l had to leave. I def need to visit them more. I feel like a bad grandson for not calling and visiting as much but lm glad my grandma is mad social and always out w people.
Hit back home and had to do work. Some stuff going down for closings coming up lm trying to make better and a new offer to write up yayyyy!!!
Later made food for me and Jeremiah and played COD BO4 w Jeremiah and Goofball and we got 4 wins. Oh yea Matt(imsofakingnasty) was w us for a win. Night started off rough but we got there. Even w all these ridiculous outside open circles where anything can happen. Josh picked me up some Taco Bell, thank youuu and then more video games. Making more rice and bulgogi and more hookah. The new Kill-la-kill beta as Chris and Jeremiah were playing while l did Magic the Gathering Arena online on the side w the new core 2020 set. Meh I suck. Went 0-2.
Thursday got up late, did work and headed out right away to get Vee from her parents like old times. We hit up Bonchon in Ucity and a ton of friends are working there. Thought EmilyD was going to be our server but switched to Paula. Solena, Eric and Kosal joined us and we just ordered a ton of food. The spicy wings are still a bit too spicy for me. Vee calls me a bitch for this. Good to catch up w Solena, Eric and Kosal though as l havent seen them since the last time Vee visited home.
We checked out downstairs for the new lounge called West and Down. I do like the neon everywhere and the event started at 9pm. It was suppose to end at midnight but changed till 2am… So we kinda just drank for a long time lol. Serena came through as well and then around 1030pm it started getting packed. Pretty much EVERYONE came through lol. It was a really good night, lots of dancing, lots of introducing. Ran around from downstairs back upstairs to Bonchon to chill w people and then back down. Dancing like an idiot and just kept running around socializing everywhere. Chris and the usual squad got a table, was running in bathrooms w people, running back up to hang w friends working/chilling in Bonchon, lost count of my shots. It was a pretty good night. Stayed and hung out in Bonchon w friends till 240am as Hang had way more wings and l was hungry again. Afterwards, me and Vee hit back home. Was simply a good night.
Got home as Jeremiah and ChrisH were hanging in the living room, lit the hookah and smoked a lil then me and Jeremiah passed out downstairs. I was awake for a total of 11 hours…..

Friday got up early as balls. 4 hours of sleep but l was only awake for 11 hours the day before and l got 12 hours of sleep before that. Hit this breakfast thing for work. Was a nice breakfast and l thought it was just gonna be socializing and breakfast but it was a lot of speeches and talking bout how successful everyone is and how they got there lol. Pretty much watching people verbally jerk off to themselves haha.

Afterwards, worked on fixing a small dent in my front bumper w ChrisH and Brown and then later hit house showings w Joy and Will and re looked at home we really liked. We decided to make a move on it and hit home to write up the offer. Got a nap and got up to party.
Got Jordyn and Jenna and we hit Chris’ pregame and a bunch of friends made it through. Had a chill pregame talking bout a ton of junk and we hit Johnnie Walker Lounge. Met some new people and split bottles and had a lot of fun dancing w friends and some of the new people. Laura came w a squad and Tina also made it over. DavidH also made it out. I’m glad he’s coming out more. Had a really good time and introduced friends to friends. One of my old fraternity brothers made it through too w his squad as well. Partied till closing then after party at Chris’ rooftop pool and hot tub.
So got drinks, lit the hookah and people ordered food. Had a chill pool party and yoo the hot tub was pretty damn hot but we got in there on and off. We said we’d hang till 4am this time but ended up at 530am anyway lol. Dropped off Jordyn and hit home and knocked out.
Sat slept all day. Woke up only to do a lil work and yyayyy accepted offer!! Got up later to chill w ChrisH and we were watching Andy’s tournament he holds each year called Defend the North in NYC. Lit the hookah and Brando brought me food. Thank you man. Ate ChicFilla and then back to sleep lol. Got up later to do more work on the accepted offer and stuff for Dom/Rose’s new home coming up.
Headed out to Vince’s party for DavidV’s birthday and me and Vince started the night w 4 wins in a row in beer pong. Super cocky. I play better when lm mad arrogant. Played dice games and smoked and hung out w everyone. Tons of friends came through later and just had a good time chilling. Me and Brown somehow losttttt aodghasodghoiahdgoiahgoa then me and Vince played together and lost too asioghaoighoaihgoaigaig when lm not feeling it… my mental state is just broke lol. Hung out pretty late around the island talking bout tons of shit and ended up trying to redeem myself w the bottle cap challenge that didnt go so great lol. Hit home late night and the roomates were still up so we hung till 630am.
Sunday picked up my mom at 7am from the train station and finally slept. Was gonna do Vesper for the owner Tim’s birthday as a ton of friends went but was sooo dead from 3 nights of drinking. I’m old now. Slept all day and had total fomo seeing everyone’s Instagram stories aodfghalghadhga life isnt fair. Got up later to do work again and then pick up my Dad at the train station. Had dinner w my parents and caught up on their trip and then hit home to do more work. Got on COD BO4 w the guys and we got another 3 wins. We just have our gameplan so down pat and also we’re just good shooters, some of them being really beastly.
Hung w the guys at my house and they made me do the old ass Spicy Ramen challenge. That shit burned like a bitch after a minute. It was my lips that were on fire that hurt the most. Chilled late night w the guys and slept actually before 4am.
7/22 Monday got up late and did work and ate chef boyodee while reading gaming news. Hit Joy and Will’s home to go over everything for the next few weeks w their accepted offer on a new home and then hit the office of the listing agent’s to drop off the deposit check and then got mad food at Giant. I always spent more than l expect to cause l see food and l go when lm hungry which is always dumb. Made wings in the air fryer w 3 diff buffalo wild wing sauces and me and the guys and chilled. Back on COD BO4 w the guys to get another 5 wins. 3 in a row which was really nice. We were just on fire. Afterwards, posted the wins of the last 2 nights while hanging w Jeremiah and ChrisH as Chris was playing Street Fighter 5 online. Ended the night playing against ChrisH on Street Fighter 5. He beat me 18-21 lol. We couldnt stop.
Tuesday worked all evening and then later picked up Kyle from the train station. Made pasta and did more work. Stuffed face and friends came over for FGC dumpling sessions. Had a lot of fun playing Samurai Shodown w friends and because l’ve been focusing back on Street Fighter 5, my brain was all confused playing Samurai Shodown again. New friends I made recently out at gaming events also came through and it’s nice just seeing our group grow. Just another good night playing games w the guys. Hung out pretty late watching on youtube different animal fights lol.
Weds hit inspection for Joy and Will and went over the entire home with the inspector. Afterwards, hit Hmart and got a ton of food. Hit home to do work all evening and later on ate ramen and watched Baki. I really like this chicken brand ramen whatever it is. There’s a bunch of different flavors and lm trying to figure out which one is my favorite. I’m lame so l made a list and lm gonna rate them lol.
Later on just played a lot of Street Fighter V online and ate burgers.
Thursday morning started off with Dom and Rose’s closing!! Congrats guys!!! Closing took a bit longer than usual and I’m very happy the seller is very adamant about being around for any repairs needed in the first year as all new construction homes have things settle and pop in the first year. We hit back to their new place and started moving stuff. Thank the Jesus LORD for the cart OMFG l thought we were moving boxes by hand the entire time. Moving like 6-9 boxes at a time on a cart was so amazing. Whoever invented the cart, l want to resurrect them just to say thank you.
So moving bigger stuff… yea lm weak. Got it done but omggg… my body was so done. Headed out for house showings and then my haircut but then when l got there, Happy’s next appointment was in 10 mins and we resced. Got Penang and hit back to stuff face at their new place. Coke(soda) is so good. It’s so bad how l just need some sugar. Moved a lil more before hitting home.
Got home to shower and sloth. Out of everything, the bottom’s of my feet hurt the most since I have flat feet. Got on COD BO4 w the guys and we just got 1 win. Started watching this show Last Man w Jeremiah and yoooo l really really like it. The music, the fights, the story and l LOVE how vulgar it is. Honestly… the world is VERY vulgar and the reason l like it is because when someone is vulgar, they’re being honest, real, themselves whatever you wanna call it. I hate that fake proper shit. It’s so suffocating. This show doesn’t hold back. Yo the music is so fucking good during the fight scenes. Like just check it out. Watched a ton of this show while smoking hookah and eating ramen.
Friday got up and took ChrisH to the train station and found out I have a tire problem. Filled it w air thinking maybe its just something stupid and hit home to do work all evening peacefully. Later got dinner w my family. Hung out w my sister for a lil just catching up and my Mom made lobster and shrimp along w other stuff. Ahhh l love lobster so much.
Pced out and hit home and did more work on this inspection report and then headed back out to help Dom and Rose move. Oscar helped them move a lot of stuff too during the day time which was really nice. We took care of a few big things and yooo…. Powered it out bringing it up the stairs.
Hit home and hung w Jeremiah watching more Last Man, smoking hookah and eating. 2 days of moving, I’m too fat to party afterwards.
Sat got up and sent out listings to clients and headed out to Chinatown. Had an appointment w Happy and yooo this man cuts my hair so great. A lil pricier than other spots but totally worth it.
On my way to Local Host, my car’s right tire again was sooo flat, l took it to a gas station by Noto and happened to see Brian. Talked bout events and he helped me find someone to change my tire to my spare at the garage. Thank you Brian! Got to Local Host JUST in time. Thankfully friends signed me up ahead of time as l texted in the FGC Dumpling Sessions FB chat and Andres got me in there. Literally paid and ‘Rob good you’re hearing, you’re playing now’.
Haven't even played much Samurai Shodown since lve been slacking on Street Fighter 5 and putting in more time w that. Had to remind myself of the game in general lol. Went 2-2 and took 13th of 32 people. Losing to MistaFoo in Losers cause l accidentally jumped forward when he Bursted and he got me w Issen when the game was pretty much mine. In Street Fighter 5 l also went 2-2 and took 9th of 24th players. Losing to REC|Punk in my 3rd match going into Loser’s bracket. Had fun hanging w everyone and just good to be in a tournament scene. Socialized w friends all evening and good catching up w some friends and also making new friends from other friends, from playing them or from just talking w people around me.
Next up got Chinese food at some hood spot and got this drink in a container called ‘homemade blue’ and got a yellow one too. Got candy and hit Nicah/Andy’s for pregame. Stuffed face and got a shower and then had pregame. Met a lot of new people and drank a lot of Soju. Got a stomach ache from how much l drank lol. Lit the hookah and had a fun pregame. Pregame was pretty huge.
We then hit West and Down and omg the line. Thankfully Hang got us to cut the line. I really enjoyed cutting that huge ass line w the guys. I felt really special lol. Hung out ran around and socialized. Saw a lot of friends and l was wondering if anyone was at Johnnie but texting w Tina, she said Johnnie Walker was still packed too which is good. Was still feeling off though from everything going on and some more bad news l got in the evening. Headed home and just got a shower, watched Ancient Aliens and Baki while eating.
Sunday got up and did some work and then back to sleep. I just wanted to sleep and kill time till this bad luck is over. Seemsssss to be getting better as nothing bad happened. Texting w Tina and calling Vince, talked about a lot and felt a lot better. More so… yea things suck but what am l going to do going forward. Started to do some stuff for my future and yoo… August l really wanted to focus on either my NJ license or learning Manderin before l get toooo busy when Voix opens but wont be able to.
Checked on my car as Tiago decaled my car for only $70 and was also doing ALL of Brown’s cars. He was out there for 12 hours. He did an amazing job and l rather give a friend money for a job than a stranger. Also it was cheaper which is nice. Thank you Tiago.
Did work and the guys were over for board games. Hung out, Titus got me Taco Bell and MattK also got me a Chun Li mouse pad. Really nice as her tits is the wrist rest lol. Its actually mad comfy and l’ll be using it. Played some Coup w the guys l still really enjoy it. I love all these deductive lying games. Got on COD BO4 w JeremiahW Beezer and Goof and yooo we got 4 wins real quick. 4 wins, 3 losses and 2 of the 3 losses were 2nd places. We were on fire. Lately we’ve been racking up wins faster and really increasing my win ratio. Afterwards, more taco bell and hookah as the guys played more board games. Chilled late watching and finishing Last Man which l really enjoyed. I wanna look up what else that writer has done.
7/29 Monday got up and did work and hit Firestone to get my tire replaced which was pretty fast. Hit home and opened amazon packages of stuff l needed for the house and packed for a while for Vegas as we’re hitting Evo.
Later on friends came over for Dungeons and Dragons, the hottest game of earth lol. But actually its still mad popular and really old so it kinda is one of the hottest games on earth for real. Played COD BO4 w Peter Beezer and Vince and we got 2 wins and then bummed. Later hopped back on COD BO4 so l could get a gold crate and got the Tigershark gun for my Blackjack boxes now. I def like they added in these guns you can only get from these crates in game. The Peacekeeper is so far my favorite cause its an amazing close range weapon. Did work mega late night before going to bed.
Tuesday got up late and worked on listings w clients and got ready to head to VA for the day. Kinda crazy to do like 7-8 hours of driving in one day for a video but…. Yolo lol. Got down to VA and had some drinks and went over the video shoot. Good seeing a lot of newer friends l’ve made in this area and we went inside and got ready. The girls helped me w my makeup and had a lot of fun doing this shoot. Pretty much a lot of farce comedy which l always loved. A lot of my fav tv shows use farce - Its Always Sunny, Curb your Enthusiasm, South Park.
Some scenes we had to retake a few times due to noise or screw ups or angles but it all went pretty smoothly. Overall, though we just drove around 7 hours total to hang w people for 4 hours, it was worth it. Im hype for the final product and l know Goof will do a good job on the editing side as the editing can make or break anything. Hit back home late and lit a hookah and watched Kakegurui s2 live action which l like cause they do new games and then some Baki before going to bed.
