As tiring as it is being w friends nearly everyday. l really do love it. l love that ANY day is potential for having a good time. Like how great is that?! As much as l had an amazing childhood, high school was fun, l lived up college more than anyone could imagine..... having money and freedom to do whatever l want, whenever l want is absolutely the best feeling in the world. If l wanna go ANYWHERE, there's nothing holding me back. lm not a big travel person tho but just saying, if l wanted to lol. But seriously, knowing l can just feels good. That mental freedom. But right now the weather is amazing and everyone is also down for doing whatever. l still need to do an amusement park or two and a waterpark tho this summer. My goal EVERY summer is to do as many bbqs and pools as l can. Fuck the beach. Pools and hot tubs are 20x better. l lost count of how many times we bbq'd this summer and how many times l've gone swimming. Def more than any other summer in my life... Well besides camp maybe on the swimming. Swimming on a hot day is an AMAZING feeling. Anyway..... lm loving this summer and l love that my friends are always around to spend time w me.
7/14 Thurs l was still up from weds night. Doing a ton of bullshit like l always do. Getting lost reading bout shit. Looking up a new bag to carry shit for gaming that holds my PS4 and controllers comfortably. My old GAP bag is good for traveling w clothes and carrying external batteries, my Beats Pill, toothbrush and junk but l need a bigger bag w good shoulder padding for when l carry consoles for whatever reason. Caught up on gaming news and been reading up on the Magic the Gathering scene, trying to keep up to date. l really do love Magic the Gathering but the past yr, it's taken a full backseat. There's a lot of factors about it that push me away sadly like anyone can get mana screwed, the finacial cost of staying competitive and how it has to be my primary focus to do well.
Went to sleep in the middle of the day cause lm a vampire and got up in the evening to book house showings and headed out to get stuff for the hookah for myself and SteveC for his birthday since his sister got him a hookah. Hit up The Lab but everyone nearly was at Vegas for Evo. First place in Pokken!! Beating one guy that beat me before as we were the only entrants lol. l know l know, l wont count it. lm the 2nd place champion as since this past yr.... l think l have no lie around 20 2nd places from Street Fighter and Pokken Tournament.
Afterwards, hit home and just made some hot dogs and Rita Adam White Rob and Alex came through to smoke hookah and snack. Good mini hang out to end a long thurs. Played some Rainbox Six Siege as l love the hide and seek feeling of this shooter and its focused on that. Also downloaded for free(thanks Adam for the heads up) the game Furi that SteveC told me about. Its just boss fights that are hard. Its all about shooting, slashing, dashing and parrying. Its very simple and straight forward and is a lot about reaction speed and plotting where you will be going when you see slow moving beams or waves of shots coming out you from all over the place. It can get pretty insane and l got past the first boss on my first try but the second boss is really hard and l cant get my parry time down. Its free on PS4 Gold members till August 4th so def get it. That or on Steam for $25.
Friday had a ton of work and made a ton of phone calls to confirm for a lil open house l was holding for a rental property. White Rob came through and hit up Manayunk to open up the property and met some potential renters. Smooth evening. Afterwards, hit TeaDo and put down lure modulators and hunted Pokemon and got us food and bubble tea. l really love TeaDo as a simple hang out spot as you always run into friends there or working there and the bubble tea is good. But lately yooo... lm really all bout buying their lil snacks. They're all so good. Fish balls, wings, the rice w whatever and sushi paper chunk. So good to eat snacks, drink bubble tea and play.
Friends started to come through later on and a bunch of us hit the Gym(pokemon go gym) at the big arch gate and took down that gym and shoved our Pokemon in. Except some lil dbag rode along on his fucking bicycle and put a pokemon in while we were building it up. Lil bitch ass asian kid on his bicycle. l was so mad. We had 7 pokemon in there which l was happy bout. We hit the park close by and caught more Pokemon and even ran across a busy ass road just to take down another gym lol. Priorities.
Afterwards, hit OJ's party and went 6-0 in beer pong LIKE A GREEK GOD and smited the fuck out of my friends. l had to make a big scene about it and shit because lm annoying but that way the game is still hostile and means something. Very fun times drinking, smoking and playing pong and we headed out to Rumor and found friends as some were in VIP. However, some of the girls knew some of my other friends and said Zee bar so we hit that up and joined Izzy Chris and his friends for drinks. They got bottles as always and its been a lil bit since l've partied w Izzy and Chris. Fun being in VIP in the middle ground as thats the best spot in Zee bar. Had drinks and met some new people and saw some old friends in the industry. Ended the night getting chinese food at Fresh Grocer and it gave me the fucking shits. Great night!
Sat got up at 12pm to watch Evo and watched a ton of matches and eat. Got maddd sleepy at 430pm and slept till 630pm and got back up to watch Evo all evening. Headed out to get JessP and AngieL and then got EileenH and VictoriaC and hit OJ's to pregame w him Lexi and Brett. Just lit the hookah, did some shots and lost twice in beer pong going 0-2 WTFFF ESP TO OJ... ALL FUCKING HELL BROKE LOOSE!!!!!!!!!!1111 Ughhhhh losing sucks so bad... esp twice. Usually after l take a loss, lm down for the night.
Afterwards hit up Coda to party. Got in, got drinks and just partied most the night in front at the dance floor. Glad Jess and Angie arent shy about dancing. Later on some random dude trying to dance w Jess started shit w OJ and was about to have him thrown out till he started appologizing to me. His friends appologizing saying he's drunk but he wasn't. Just a dude who wants to act tough. Being a 'tough guy' is sooooo corny. l get acting that way if someone is like 16 but not when you're finished school. Partied till 3am and thank you Mario for the drink passes. Afterwards, smoked and ate food at OJs and stayed up pretty late.
Sunday got up and obviously couldnt make it to the Magic the Gathering pre-release. Pretty sad to miss it but its just rough it starts so early. Took the girls back home and played some Rainbow Six Siege while watching Evo all night. Evo was amazing and cool seeing Street Fighter 5 on ESPN 2 and glad they had the ESPN commentary for people new to watching things but the stream was for the hardcore gamers. Catering to both crowds. Actually passed out at a somewhat normal time afterwards.
7/18 Monday got up for house showings w Brian and Somanette to check out some potential spots. Timing was smooth and afterwards hit up Philly to get Mary and hosted a bbq. Friends came through and l tried to cook and finish off all the food we had left over from past bbqs. Stuffed face and holy shit, so full. l love bbqs. Had the hookah lit and it was just a really good evening.
Afterwards, me and Mary watched Annabelle for The Conjuring storyline even tho its not directly related. Bullshitted all night late night and passed out. Eventually got up and dropped her off at 5am lol.
Tues was still up doing work after dropping off Mary. Watched the Boruto movie which l enjoyed A LOT because it was cool seeing a new generation now. Slept during the day and got up in the evening to hit up a rental appointment in which they signed ahhhhh finally signed off my Manayunk property. Got food and chilled and played Furi and King of Fighters 14 demo. Did the Hitman Summer Bonus and then played Street Fighter 5 all night into weds learning Balrog.
Weds still up from last night playing Street Fighter 5, learned a lot w Balrog. Very fun character, massive damage. Passed out at 930am. Got up at 4pm and did a lot of work and hit my office for a lil. Its like going to the library back in college. Joined Brown Jenny and Domkey for Pokemon Go in Bristol and we had a nice evening walking and playing. Weather has been so nice for it lately.
Got back at midnight and JohnR invited me out to Deliahs... YOLOOOOO went out and had a great time. Chris got several bottles and we had VIP in the middle top. Met some girls and some of their friends and caught up w other old friends. Had shots and got a massage and afterwards we hit up Zee Bar. Saw some friends and JennieN and LisaL joined us as well. Had bottles and did shots and just had a really good time drinking and chilling. Met a lot of new people and partied all the way till 330am.
Hit home and stuffed face and watched Its Always Sunny.
Thurs had a ton of work to catch up first and then hit up The Lab. Went 3-2 in Pokken having a VERY close match w Matt aka Plural in the final game final round final hit lol. Very good games. Street Fighter 5, not so hot going only 1-2. Hit home as the 7th Elusive Target came out for Hitman. Killed him and got away. So far... l missed the 1st 3 not realizing they would come so quickly and then failed 2 and passed 2. Watched a ton of the matches of Street Fighter 5 Evo from Sat night that l missed and knocked out.
Friday got up late and did work all evening. Got Mary and we hit up Poke Bowl which is sooo fucking good. Glad she found out about this spot. Afterwards, we hit up OJs for pregame. Friends came through to smoke drink and play beer pong. Won some games, beat vince 11-1 in our single shot game and then lost 3-2 later on against fucking OJ..... l hate him so much. He teamed up w Zack and ughhhh... Hit up Rumor and had a great time partying w new friends. Was mixing it up between the hip hop and edm room a lot. Partied till 2am and hit back and knocked out.
Sat me and Mary got up at 5pm...... wtfff lol. l thought it was like 1 or 2pm but yea... screwed that up. Head out to Philly and met up w Su and Dayu to check out changes made to their future home and hung out w the seller for a little bit. Afterwards, we got ramen w them and their friends and stuffed face. The spicy shoyu is soooo good but l wont be having it ever again(the poop later is too painful). Dropped off Mary afterwards and bummed at OJs.
Friends came through later on to chill and had a lil pregame before Coda. Very fun times as always and then headed out to Coda to party a bit early. So the night started off slow but we met some girls on the dance floor and partied w them the first half of the night. Later on tons of friends started coming through along w my old fraternity brother Rich. Glad to see him again as always. JenH came to join us on the dance floor as well and Jamie and her squad came through to party. Very good night that l was a bit worried about being too slow. Ended the night playing PokemonGo in Rittehouse Square lol.
Sunday still up from sat just eating mad food, catching up on my gaming news and bullshit that l have no idea how l kill so much time each night lol. Later on at 11am headed out and checked out a construction site w Linda and Kenny and talked about options for what made the most sense for them. Good seeing them as always and glad we're moving forward w the property that fits them best. Afterwards had to hit up another property to check up on things in Philly and then hit up Monarch as Chris Brad Izzy and John were having people come through to eat and drink. My lil sister and Jess came by and Mica and Angel came through as well to join us. Drank Patron and ate food and had a really good time bumming it. Swam on and off and holy shit it felt so good being in the water on such a hot day. Had a hookah and tons of food. Very good times.
Afterwards, we decided to hit Morgan's Pier but one girl forgot her ID and they were being mad strict so we decided to hit the private pool at Brad's place. Really nice spot and they had multiple grills to use as well. Riza and her friends jumped in my car and we got there faster than the rest cause they were getting food. Jumped over a wall and we chilled in the hot top till they got there. Lit my hookah and they started making food. Mixing it up between the massive pools and the hot tubs. Very nice meeting a lot of new people and esp Tiff who works in nightlife too. We know a ton of the same party people of course in Philly. Very fun times and took the girls back afterwards and hit back home to do work.
Real estate work first and then put up multiple event pages for the events coming up. l got so many things going on in August too its gonna be fun but tiring. Was up till 5am and was up for 37 hours total.
Monday got up at 6pm feeling great. Did work all evening and worked on editing and promoting the event pages. Paid out my subpromoters and played some Street Fighter 5. Did a ton of Pokemon Go Research and just stuffed face. Just did nothing but chill and it was a productive Monday lol.
Tues had house showings w Johnny and Kim. Saw 2 potentially great homes we are looking more into. They browse homes so fast, its nice. They know exactly what they want. Afterwards, Rita wanted to celebrate her new job. Rob and Rita came through and we had burgers and hot dogs and lit the hookah and bullshitted all evening. Did several shots of Goose too lol. Drinking on a Tuesday... Tues is a funny day to drink on. Josh and Char joined us later on too. Afterwads bought and played We Happy Few. l like weird worlds in video games w cool concepts. Def interesting. Pretty much the world you live in is like 1960s ish and its trashed so everyone takes 'joy' pills to see the world all nice but you decide to stop taking your pill and escape but now youre a 'downer' and they are trying to capture you. Very interesting.
Weds l started off doing some real estate work from home. Things have been picking up again and afterwards head out to get Mary. We hit up HMart to get some sushi stuff and then back to my place where tons of friends came over for Poke Bowl. So we had it the Friday before and l really liked it so l wanted to do it myself w friends. Alex and Rob brought a ton of the ingredients and Rita brought some drinks over and we worked together cutting up everything. Tons of stuff to dice up actually and made a fuckloada rice. The Poke Bowl was so good tho and its seriously sushi chiptole. Had the hookah lit and a few drinks and just had another really good nice night w friends over.
Afterwards, me and Mary bummed it and then watched Ex Machinma. Def love this movie and l like to watch it w people to see what they're thinking. l like that we are asking the same questions as the protaganist. Then there is a twist and the question changes. Def a really dope holy shit kinda movie. Talked and stuff all night and took her home again at 5am lol.
Thurs still up from weds, was doing work, reading up on gaming news and junk. Slept during the day and got up in the afternoon and hit my office to pick up checks and then hit The Lab to play. Went only 2-2 in Pokken and a terrible 0-2 in Street Fighter 5. First time in a while that happened.
