Monday was relaxing. Took care of work early and kinda bullshitted the evening away. Streamed Ultra Street Fighter w the roomies as Joss and Jieun joined in. A ton of friends joined in on stream and it was pretty much me playing and my friends just talking to each other in chat and next to me. Bounme Kotey and Anna had me laughing a lot. We later on went out to smoke hookah and drink a lil. One glass of wine is pretty relaxing. Ended the night cooking and studying some Street Fighter lol. Not a bad day right?
Tues l went to get my lil sister at Temple and bring her to work back home and we got to catch up and see how she was liking Temple. Shes got a crazy few months ahead and l dunno how often l'll see her but lm sure l'll see her soon enough. Got maddd groceries and was kinda nervous if l was filling up the fridge and pantry too much. Played some World of Tanks and then later on Vicky came through w Viet food yayyyy partyyyy lol so we ate and watched Pretty Little Liars. Like OMG l was totally wrong about who diesssssss.... haha but def did enjoy watching it and played Rust a little w Breslin and friends.
He got a group a total of 11 of us to raid the admin base and yoooo it was mad fun. Sooo many guns, sooo much C4 and a squad of 11!!! It was wreckless. We all wear radiation pants so we know whose who but the problem is, later on the enemy started dressing like us. Def a really good time ruining a crazy big base.
Rust is like playing w digital legos. Building is pretty fun - going to someones Lego castle and destroying it is pretty fun too - getting your Lego Castle kicked into pieces really sucks..... Its the exact same thing.... just digital.
Weds me and Vicky woke up early to hit up DC. The main priority was to go to the Zoo there since there was pandas and she really really wanted to see pandas. A bit of a hike for just a day but its boyfriend points lol. So she wanted to see pandas and we saw them. Pretty cute. Like a bear but doesnt seem as threatening. Saw a ton of other animals and it was aiight. l mean.... just cool to see them in person tho they dont really do anything. Lions just slept. Wolves just walked around. Seals swam lol... what'd you expect ya know? But yea... my legs were burnt from all the running around. So followed up the Zoo w food.
So posted a status asking friends wheres a good place to eat by the Zoo and people mentioned Hot and Juicy Crawfish and l dont think l ever ate crawfish before and its like a hotspot and something different so we hit that up. Really cool how this place works and yooo.... that sauce w crawfish and shrimp. The corn and potatoe and sausages all go well w the sauce too. So you just dig in w your hands and it was seriously a really really good meal. Crawfish is pretty dope even tho theres like no meat when you get to it... the meat you do get does taste good. Totally worth it to me.
Afterwards hit the Washington Monument.... the only thing of history l was curious to check out for the sake of it. Something drew me to it. Wanted to get a cool pic w the reflecting pool at the Monument but it was a farrrr walk. Walked half way there and then just kinda quit. My legs were just donezo from all the walking that day. We later on hit up The Sweet Lobby for cupcakes and macaroons as that was a spot she wanted to cehck out. Got that and hit up Starbucks and just rested and drank up. Had a smooth ride home and just kinda bummed it and passed out lol. Def a fun day w the girlfriend even tho half of it was in the car.
Thurs me and Vicky ran errands like crazy. Had to set up for the weekend for my Salty Suite. So we hit Newtown and got liquor and tobacco for the hookah and then hit up HMart and Giant for food. Watched the movie Neighbors which we saw some in theaters before the power shut down so we had to finish it off. Not bad but def not cult classic. Had a good time making a nice steak dinner and we ended the night smoking hookah w the roomies. Def simple and peaceful. After weds, l needed a bum day. Also got a nice massage. lm an old man. Thank you Vicky for comingggg.
Friday woke up w no sleep and then hit up the Holiday Inn Stadium in South Philly for the Fighting game tournament by BigEgaming hosting Summer Jam 8. Got my room and ran errands to get my flu shot, extension cords and food. Victor and Bounme came through later on. Had friends over later on for drinks, hookah and Street Fighter lol. It was pretty much a full pregame. Had a guestlist to take care of for Rumor but l had guests here so l didnt go out. Had a good time making the girls play each other and having people pick a girl and if your girl lost, you had to do a shot. Also just funny watching people button mash. Def a really chill night. Sadly no stream since Arturo got sick. l didnt think l drank THAT much but yoo.... l was hurting a lil. Prob from all the shitty walmart food l ate lol.
Sat woke up next to Bounme and got my room situation fixed up, just annoying shit l had to deal w and then it was tournament time. Eventually went 2 wins and 2 loses. Won game 1, lost game 2, won game 3 and lost game 4. Kinda bummed but yoo.... it happens. Game 2 tho l felt l couldve won if l didnt lose my cool. But still.. had a good time. Got interviewed about my Salty Suite and introduced Brian to other players and people that would prob be good for him to interview.
So later on hit my room and chilled w Victor Bounme and some of TEAM PIE. Smug and Poem both made it past the pools and Smug came to train for a little bit and chill. Showered, bullshitted and watched some Ultra Street Fighter 4 and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and then Vicky came through. We got pho close by and stuffed face and hit back. Poop shower gingerale and some good pho woke me up and l wasnt a bum anymore.
Set up the party and moved furniture around like crazy to make it more accessible. A ton of friends came through and introduced different groups of friends to each other. Glad EricM came through as well to really hang out for a while. Played some matches, commentated and thank you Andy for helping us get that running. Drank, smoked and had a really good time. Threw the girls infront of stream as much as possible haha. Its important. But yea, we had a ton of girls over for a Salty Suite. Everyone was having fun screwing around w Street Fighter and had 2 set ups. Cops eventually shut us down at 2am which sux but well... not much to do about it. l was thinking of trying to see if l could bribe him but..... there wasnt a good feeling on it. But l mean.... if he woulda took $50 and just walk away w a warning... l woulda been happy just to get away w it. Theres a ton of people.... actually.... nearly everyone will take a bribe for the right price. People have a price... on everything hahahaha that sounds so wrong. Anyway... tho we got shut down at 2am... l did have a ton of fun and my friends came over at 9pm anyway. Glad to spend time w everyone in general and just from 230-430am me and Eric streamed people playing and just had a fun time commentating like it was a radio show. Def had a great time making jokes and dying laughing from terrible puns. Eric was a big hit in general. All my friends loved him, the stream loved him. Very popular guy that night. We chilled till 430am and knocked out afterwards hahaha.
Sunday cleaning up sucked sooo fucking bad but thats just part of it. Back in college, having pledges was the shitttttt but now cleaning sux again. Hosting in general is always ALWAYS a lot more work than people realize. l love hosting tho.... whether house party, pregame, salty suite, people over for drinks and hookah.. whatever... l just like setting things up so a bunch of friends can just meet up in one spot and just chill. But yea, checked out and watched some matches and chilled w some friends here and there. Pced home and got lazy.
Me and Brown hit my office and printed a fuck of proxy cards for Magic the Gathering for Modern Format to test play a shitloada mainstream decks and see what we like. l plan to really feel out Affinity and see if it becomes my thing. Ate some food Joss made and had a chill evening as me Brown and Joss sat around watching Twitch for the Summer Jam 8 watching Ultra Street Fighter 4 Top 8 and some Magic the Gathering Legacy Grand Prix. Cutting out and organizing decks. It was tiring but chill just having Brown and Joss w me. It really was nothing but its a big reason why l moved in, evenings like that. Its just really nice. We dont have to call and make plans to meet up and stuff cause we're lazy. We just go 'yo, want food?' 'come down and chill' and we're all hanging out. l just really really really like it. Last chance to do it before l move out on my own so l might as well live w two of my oldest best friends and Jieun lol. Jieun is mad social tho she adds to the house fun.
