l bring it upon myself but my brain gets soooo bored of things fast and l just need something work on, to figure out ya know? Switching into the Modern Format of Magic the Gathering to overwhelm myself some more. Should be fun haha.... and expensiveeee :(
KK so my week.
Weds just worked and then hit up Boyd's place. Havent seen him seriously since 10th grade. l sat next to him in Comp Sci class at the tech school HALF a day for a full year in 10th grade when me Brown Colin and JeffP started taking classes and would have to shuttle to another school for half the day for it. Boyd always had tons of crazy stories and was always in a good mood for joking around. We've always kept in touched since but l havent seen him since then. So l was talking bout Venison and he has burgers since he hunts and said l could get some. WHAAAA so l swung by to hang out. Had pizza, smoked hookah and jumped in the pool.
He's got a dope place. But yoo.. the pool WITH ATTACHED HOT TUBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB aoerighoaidrhgoaihgaoihrgoairhgoaihrgaioh MY FAVORITE!!!!!111 Its seriously the best feeling in the world. And set the hookah next to the hot tub. Got to meet his wife Carly and she was mad cool and outgoing. Also checked out all the guns Boyd got and we plan to go shooting sometime soon. Hung out all evening and def plan to be back. l gotta bring him a thing of Venison Sausage too since l got so much and it'll be something different for him. Glad l got to see him.
Hit home and played some Payday 2 w the Scumbag Squad. Scott and Hack were on and we were just leveling up Hack. Payday 2 is a dope game but yoo..... its a pain.... its pretty much.... like a stealth or gunsblazing game but in a group. Its possible to do alone but its hard. Its easier w friends but at the same time, you need friends who know what they're doing. Its fustrating that way that you may do everything right for a while and someone keeps fucking up.
Thurs worked all day tho Vicky was over, felt bad but she understands. Just work has been blowing up. We had wings and fried rice and VENISONNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!! So yo... food was banging and then met up w the nerds for Guardians of the Galaxy... the scumbags of course. Thank you Hack and SteveC for FINALLY repaying me from Amazing Spider-Man 2 and the 2nd Hobbit movie..... lol they take forever. Movie was really dope and the jokes were very well on point. Def happy w that movie and it was nice being different, a fun lovin joke superhero movie.
Hit home and yooooo VENISON BURGERSSSS SEROIGHSOIGHSOIGHSIOGHSIORH so we had to mix it in w bacon so it wouldnt burn cause its so lean. Thank you Boyd again for the burgers. They were damn amazing. Vicky and me bummed it and napped a lil b4 she pced out a bit after midnight.
Afterwards, played Ultra Street Fighter 4 for 5 hours lol.
Fri took care of a lot of work and played Ultra Street Fighter 4 for a while. Working on my guestlists and shit. Had fun and always fun talking w my viewers/friends. l really gotten to know a lot of them over the time playing. Its just nice, to figure out things w friends and get advice. Had a good evening playing and talking w friends.
Pced out to pregame at Emily's. Just hookah, drinks and gambling haha. lm so addicted. Its really fun and us flipping shit when hands change by the river... its just fun. l love pregame mucho. Good time as always and then the #squadron came out w me to Rumor. The pre-party for the Tuner Evolution Car show. So we hit up Rumor and just had a good night out dancing. Just felt good acting out and seeing friends all over Philly. Stuck w the group all night and tried my best to play cupid between some friends lol. My cupid skills arent AS good as they use to be. Very good times and late night got Vicky hehe.
Sat we started the day w mini wontons. Yoooo soo good, def a big fan. Cooks quick and taste mad good. So we hit up the Tuner Evolution Car show event and found friends. Checked out the bboy competition where l met up w everyone and introduced Vicky to some friends and re-introduced her to others because l really forget who l DID and DID NOT introduce her to. Then sometimes, l dont introduce her to people cause l thought l did and then they call me rude for not introducing lol.... ughhhh... So saw some cars, checked out some models and had a good time being there. Watching the bboy competition and seeing some of the new generation along w my friends. Found MKV too and good seeing her and catching up as its been a while. Me and Vicky's favorite Import Model lol.
Later on, Vicky found out her parents got into a car accident so we met up w them and her family at the hospital. Glad they weren't seriously injured tho. Hospitals gives me the creeps. Met some of Vicky's family and just hung out and made sure they were going to be ok.
Afterwards, we got food at Boston Market and then hit up Mike's for pregame. More drinks hookah and gambling haha. Such a good time. So we had maddd alc from all the alc people bring and leave at Mike's pregame after pregame. Had some new people at pregame and pregame was a ton of fun in general as always. Its just very spacious and having a big group is just nice. Had Vicky pick the majority of my hands in our yolo pick up game of Texas Hold'em and l was up $17 from $1 games between 4-7 people. Then l started picking my own on $5 and $10 games and went under $20 lol ughh l shoulda just kept listening to her. Its not about the money, its about winning. And l did not win in the end.
We hit up Soundgarden Hall and ran around, had drinks and found friends. The staff can be a bit... difficult tho to work w... esp the power crazed members of staff. Anyone that gets TOO authoritize is always annoying. Hooked up JackK on getting VIP tables and met his friends and cool to see some friends perform again on the main stage. Other friends gogo dancing and throwing on ummm flashy big sticks... Pretty much at most EDM events ya know. They are... fun tho lol, just fist pumping w them. It gives effect. It sounds stupid l know but when you are there, it adds onto the environment. Pced out and helped Jenna and Dan get home first and then dropped off Vicky.
Sunday house showings early afternoon w Ivan and Grace. Went well and saw some cool things in some homes. Kinda.... just played Ultra Street Fighter 4 from 730pm-330am. Just stuck w Cammy and Akuma all night. Ranked up fast but yo... my Cammy... trying out new things w her - not working out too well for me. lm pretty good at just playing footsie and punishing w her but doing the whole rushdown part... lm not too good. lm terrible at getting a good angle to jump and divekick in. l can only get good divekicks when l use Meter. We'll see. My Akuma is getting better tho. Slowly getting in combos more often and getting use to reacting properly. l just REALLY have to focus on it for a while till it becomes second nature. The problem is.... l never wanna practice, l just wanna whip ass and go on Ranked and fight people. When l go into training room, l can get into the zone, learn and study but then theres these moments when lm like 'gahh l need to test this on real people' and sign on Ranked lol. But yea... that was my night.
Monday took care of a lot of work and well.... lm a bit of a fail. l'll leave it at that. SIORGHOSRHGOSRIgho not everything works out but whatever, l got a lot of reading l need to do. Later on, me Brown and Joss re-looked at the home. Pretty hype. Everything is now smooth w that. Finally lol. Hit Chinatown and got food from David's Mai Lai Wah w Shrimp Eggrolls, Salt and pepper wings and fried wontons - alllll which are amazing and good to snack on. Hit up Karen's hotel as shes finally back around. Crazy l havent seen her in 4 months, it felt like it was more recent. Caught up w everything, smoked hookah, got drinks and played Chess. Game 1 was a good long smart game till l made a big mistake losing my Queen and then Game 2 l was still arigharighadi from Game 1 and well... failed really really early. Had to just retire after that. Fucking around w people on Tinder and cockblocking and having a good time making fun of people and testing to see how cool(dorky) some guys really were. Def a very fun night and glad l got to see Karen again. l miss that whole posse of Villanova Sigmas. We def do need to have an AC reunion. Later on pced out and said late to Karen.
Tues aosuirhgaouirhgaio work was all over the place. It really is people skills and problem solving. A lot of calling and emailing but lm confident. Spent a lot of time doing research on the Affinity deck for Magic the Gathering in the Modern Format. In Standard it was so dominating, it was the result of the most people quitting magic because you simply played Affinity or you played Anti-affinity lol. Shit like that happens time to time. Usually theres like 6 decks that are popular that play a metagame off each other but yea...... its kinda like when Phoenix got mad popular in Marvel vs Capcom 3. Phoenix teams and Anti-Phoenix teams. But yea... this deck is maddddd interesting. Sooooo many mini combos that blend well together. Its like my old classic Modern/Legacy Red Deck. Its rushdown but theres A LOT of like combos that nearly anything can combo together. A bunch of cards that aren't individually good alone but together, make up for a lot of power. Just learning how to play it PROPERLY will take practice. Theres A LOT to learn to just... JUMP INTO MODERN FORMAT lol but lm sure l can get use to it quick. Theres under 10 decks l gotta mostly worry about.... learn how to play against them w Affinity and a big part is learning what to sideboard in and out and when to go for the quick kill and when to bait and trick. A lot to learn in the next weeks.
Later on, got Vicky and we got mad sushi from Shogun. ALWAYS love sushi and hit back and we watched Tyrant and Pretty Little Liars while eating and cuddling dawWwWww very nice evening. She passed out right after Pretty Little Liars at 2am and l slept 2 hours later after doing more reading on Affinity. Theres other decks that interest me in Modern but for now, Affinity REALLY interests me.... Merfolk, RG Tron, Melira Pod all interest me too.
Weds started the day off w mini wontons again haha. Loved it. So we pced out and got my car fixed up at the Honda dealer thanx to Sean. Fixing up my brakes as they been bad for a while and oil change. Hit up the mall and Vicky got some stuff as l ate icecream lol. Simple day. Got the Ultra Street Fighter 4 guide soley for the hitboxes. Maybe theres something in there thats new to me but either way, l'll enjoy reading through it time to time.
Later on got cheesesteaks from Steve's Prince of Steaks and hit back watching shows, eating and napping. Had a really simple rest of the night and l loved it. Wahhh l miss her. So yea, dropping her off, we got Insomniac cookies which are always mad good lol. She loves her snacks like that. That and macaroons and frozen yogurt. Whatever makes her happy. Dropped her off around midnight and it was sad. Hit back and played Rust w Breslin and people the rest of the night. Very chill.
