Sun late night JennaD stopped by to chill and eat. Had pasta and we watched The Grudge and god damn. l flipped a shit a few times through the movie. Had a good time and talked about a lot of stuff through the night. Def a fun night lol.
Monday morning she pced out and l slept on and off through the day and had to take care of some stuff for my closing early Sept. Slept again and woke up later to play CS w Joss and MattH. Had a good time and l wanna play competitive but its rough getting a group together. Thats how alllll team competitive play is tho. You gotta really pre-plan shit. Thats why its easier to play games that are 1v1. So ended the night finishing up on Hitman Absolution. SUCH A GREAT GAME and had such a great time. Sadly at the same time, Black Nasty posted there was a gaming tournament in Philly the next day. TOTALLY UNPREPARED as l've been playing Hitman the last month. Havent touched Injustice in almost 2 months.
Tues l got up and got lunch w JennaD at Shogun and stuffed face w sushi. Tried out new special rolls as always and wrote down my rating in my lil notepad on my iphone as l plan to try every single one to find out which are my favorites lol. It was good chilling w Jenna even if it was for a little bit and glad she made time for me.
Afterwards, hit home napped for a bit and then woke and played only 2 hours of Injustice, first time playing in over a month. Just got so caught up w Hitman Absolution and had no idea about this tournament until Monday from Black Nasty(thank you for letting me know). So yea.... def not enough practice b4 a tournament and totally unprepared. Also barely played Street Fighter lately. l wanted to beat Hitman earlier so l'd start practicing for Summer Jam NEC a tournament the weekend of the 16-18th where me and friends of Midnight Fights have a room and will be there all weekend. So yea... swung by and got smashed in both Injustice and Street Fighter. Didnt get to warm up in the games either. Just went on and played. Did aiight but overall lost to each of my opponents and that was that. My overall worst gaming competition of my life, not a good feeling but it was mostly from lack of practice and having barely no preparation and no warm up. Warming up is important and preparation is pretty important as well. Still had fun and saw some friends and Black Nasty came through to chill as well. Ended the night stopping by Vicky's to pick up a few things. We talked for a while and l dunno. Its just odd right now. Kinda lost for words.
Weds hit the office first thing to take care of work. Wasnt feeling too well tho all day. My head was just throbbing like ass. Didnt really do too much. Just took care of work and was feeling sick. l got Cafe Soho chicken as l wasnt too far from it earlier running errands. Stuffed face but yo... spicy chicken is so damn ridiculously spicy. l remember the 1st time l ordered it, l could only eat like 6 and then l had to stop. So l got half soy sauce, half spicy chicken. But anyway.... from not feeling well, prob from the weekend(l know l really party too much and lm old) l just went to bed early.
Thurs hit the office and took care of work during the evening. Put on nice clothes and ordered chinese food from a restaurant where my Team Leader Kathy told the owner is looking for a home in Newtown but has a language barrier making it difficult. Well... l speak manderin... kinda. So got food and introduced myself and gave her my card. Honestly, she seemed shocked l was a real estate agent. l was dressed up and everything, maybe just how old l look. Its like the only time looking young is a bad thing. Stuffed face w chinese food and bummed it in the evening. Jenna came through later and we watched The Avengers. First time seeing it since theatres. Such a good movie. Just Joss Weadon is SUCH an amazing writer. l dont know writers and stuff like that but l just always loved Buffy and Angel. l just like his humor and how the villians always have a sense of humor in his writing. Had a good time chilling w Jenna and glad she came through. Afterwards, knocked out early again.
Friday woke up at 4am since l went to bed so early. Stuffed face w more chinese food and then Adam got me and Brown and we hit up Otakon and got our tickets. First thing we did was text friends to meet up and we checked out the dealer room and looked at stuff for a while. Met up w friends and Bounme stuck w us for the rest of the evening. Looked half way through b4 l had to shit lol. From there Me Goof and Akuma performed outside of the gaming room by the water fountain as we do every year but usually w more people. Had fun performing. Also hit up the gaming room to see about the tournament. They didnt have Street Fighter 4 as a main thing tho on Friday night. l was kinda sad but whatever.
Later on in the night we left to hit up Vee's place and pregammed w Vee Dan and Bounme. So we slammed some shots and oh mannn the thing Dan had made. Pinapple w spices in dark liquor. It was quite a burn. We hit up Red Maple and it wasnt as packed as usual but then we just didnt care. We just had a blast acting retarded. Mikey was DJing and so the music was really on point. We did dance w some random girls there. Brown getting bent over and then turning around the girl and bending her over was beyond hilarious. l cant wait for the pics to come up. Had a great time acting wild and it was just a really good time in general. We ended the night getting korean bbq, always a great way to end any party night in the DMV area. Stuffed face real good and we didnt get home to sleep till around 330am or so.
Woke up late on sat and l knew there was no way l was making it to the Injustice Tournament where sign ups were at 10am. 10AM!!!!!!11111 Sorry but to be at a location at 10am sat is just a ridiculous request. Even if the location is 10 mins away. So we hit up Five Guys and stuffed face nom nom nommm and felt fat as fuck. Hit up Otakon and found friends and ran around all evening.
Hack found us wearing a scouter and what a way to say hi lol. He's always entertainment. Scott and Jeni found us later on too and we had a good time browsing the dealer room some more and saw a lot of cool shit. Mostly stuff thats there every year but this yr l was really into the statues and figurines. Sadly the one bad ass Vegeta one l liked wasnt sold seperately but part of a set and l just really wanted the one. Found JohnP Sam and the rest and chilled w them some of the time and then we checked out the Anime Music Video contest. Saw videos of stuff of things l was curious on watching. Soul Eater being one but l hear its mad kiddie. Also Attack on Titan which lm hearing great things.
We quickly got food after signing up for the Magic the Gathering Draft Tournament. Quickly got food at some place that had express pre-made food and stuffed face. Also met one of Vee's friends who plays Magic and he was pretty cool and entered w us. We hit back to the gaming room and me, Vee's friend(forgot his name tho) and Hack made it into the tournament. Sadly Brown didnt make it in. Drafted and l was planning on going either mono red or red mixed w black, green or white, prob white, but yoo the rares l was getting was perfect for aggro red lol l was laughing at the odds of that happening. Built a GREAT red deck and beat Vee's friend first 2-1. It shoulda been 2-0 but l made a single greedy mistake early in game 1. Lost to a solid green player later on tho in semi finals 1-2.
After that, thank you Brown for getting me the Street Fighter 4 tournament entree pass. l was #8 and sadly had no games to warm up on again. Jumped in and tournament nerves really hit me.

So game 1 l took out my opponent both games messing around. Makoto and her dash pressure is a bitch because her dash is so good to make up for her terrible walk speed. And that dash punch is annoying. So l jumped a lot so when he would dash up and go for grab or pressure l was already in the air(neutral jump) to come down on an attack so l was the one applying pressure, not him. But just in general. He wasn't tech throwing a lot so l got away w a lot of throws. 2nd game was close but the stick they got me l dunno why but l couldnt throw fireballs for shit. You see me whiff LP and HP like CRAZY. In the air and on ground. Pulled out basic tricks l have for Akuma that landed me the Super and Ultra back to back in one game lol. Beat my 2nd opponent in the final set, final round lol. Third opponent was Dio in Top 8 and lost to him in game 3. He had a solid Gouken and is one character l have trouble w when he gets his distance. lm not patient enough is my problem. Esp when not having the life lead, its a bitch cause he's even more calm. Very cool dude tho and hes down for entering the 3v3 w me for Street Fighter 4 at Summer Jam the following weekend since he was looking for people to enter w. Glad l got a third teammate who is a good player which l got along w really well. He made it to the finals where he lost to Happy Medicine's M.Bison who people consider the #1 M.Bison in the world when talking w people while watching. Good games and it was cool to see them play each other.
Afterwards we were gonna check out the rave just to check it out but the line as always is beyond ridiculously long. We hit up the car to get the hookah and liquor and get food and chasers and set up the party at John's room. So l hit up Kimily and a few others about our party and you know.... its Otakon.... girls wise... the ratio is expected to be terrible and the number of attractive girls is like a rare in a pack of Magic cards. You get 1 out of 15. So l just didnt expect much but to have a good time talking bout anime, gaming, some other bullshit while smoking and drinking and whatever. But yo... Kimily... good shit. She brought through a bunch of people, even ratio of girls and guys and the girls werent a ton of monsters lol so l was happy. Had a big hotel party and more people ran through later on. Had enough alc to supply for everyone and people really enjoyed the hookah and had a good time. Really good party, people talking about different anime, talking bout cosplay, talking bout gaming and what we were drinking and smoking. It was different but nice. Partied till around 4am and pced out. Walked back to the car and hit back to Vee's and had no problem passing out.
Sun hit the dealer room in the morning and got stuff for Ryan as he wanted some things and got myself a Sasuke little model. It was the dopest one of all of them. Found the Vegeta l wanted but it was part of a set wahh. Brown got some Gundam's and saw some friends running around. Pced home and it took all day lol. Oh well.... hit back and got dropped off. Thank you Adam for driving. We were thinking of doing Nerd Night but everyone was soo beat from driving back and stuff. Watched some Pretty Little Liars, ate and slept early.

Mon washed up and drove family to my mother's office. Cousin's of my mother and l guess my cousin, a little girl who is like 3. Really cute. My manderin is getting worse tho because l never use it so communicating is very basic lol. Hit my office and took care of some work as l needed the printer. Afterwards got my haircut and hit home and just felt very sluggish. Bummed it, looking up info, talking w friends about this weekend and next weekend. A lot of preplanning to get everything right. Didnt really do too much. Knocked out after that lol.
Tues today just got up a bit ago. Been working on my settlement for early Sept for a bit and gotta call some clients when its like 5pm 6pm ish when they get home. l gotta work on studying for my NJ License. Its just so annoying knowing l gotta pass both sections at the same time because the State portion is going to be SO difficult. Oh well.... second l get it done, l have it forever. Think l just need to eat and shower and it'll start off my day.
