Sup Guys, I need like a week to get everything together.
As l knock off shit off my literal to-do list. More stuff piles on. I dunno how I use to not have a to-do list cause there are so many things to always need to do outside of work. I just wanna be done w everything so l dont know what to do w my time. I'm never BORED and dont get how people get bored. If you're bored, you should be knocking things off your list and then working on whatever THING you're into. Even if it's watching a certain show.
Anyway... Past 2 weeks been nuts.
5/17 Thursday still up from weds worked on God of War and then Street Fighter V all night. Really broke down Zangief’s options after a H or EX SPD for myself and for DeanJ. Zangief was always one of my favorite to play characters but l never got THAT good w him. Just good enough to play casually.
In a few hours and a lot of testing and thinking.. I came up w a few pages. I try to keep things as simple as possible mentally.
Afterwards, stuffed face and finished watching Troy Fall of a City on Netflix which l really liked a lot. Went to bed at 10am finally.
Got up at 3pm and got hookah coals in NE Philly and hit Nicah’s to bum and lit the hookah. We got ready for her Women in Media event and it took forever to find parking. Finally got in, got drinks and found new friends l met from the previous week at Danielle and Manny’s engagement party. There was some nice speeches and pictures taken but then finally they dimmed the lights and there was dancing. Had a lot of fun as the DJ they were using was really good and got sweaty. Partied there till 10pm and then hit back to Nicah’s to chill. Ate pizza while watching Dexter before hitting home.
Friday got up and did work and played a lil Street Fighter V. Smoked hookah w the roomies for a while before hitting our chill night at Nicah’s. Getting a lot of the OG crew together just to hang. Mike and Sam came early and they brought this cool cranberry infused drink and we played Magic the Gathering. Goblin vs Merfolk and they’re so well balanced. Def had a lot of fun and both decks flood the board w their creature type and boost up.
A lot of friends made it out just to eat, drink and hookah and l was really happy everyone came through in general to chill. Its crazy how coupled up our group is but we are all older now. Hung out for a while and mostly smoked hookah lol. The fried rice was really good and l think the next chill night will be at my place. Ended the night eating and watching more Dexter.
Sat got up and hit Nicah’s performance w FISDU at an asian event that KeithM help set up. Found friends and met friend’s of friends and just hung out and watched some performances. Nicah performed the fan dance l saw her do last year and bummed a lil before hitting Chinatown.
Got food and Paola’s cake in Chinatown and hit Nicah’s to pack and eat. Got friends and we hit Atlantic City as Paola was DJing at Harrah’s The Pool. Went from having 3-5 friends to 13 friends come through after a few phone calls and got a solid squad together. Pregame was a lot of fun as always and just had a really good time chilling. Sang Happy Birthday to Paola and gave her the cake and we ate cake and drank more before hitting our VIP Hot Tubbbbbb!!!
Partied in the hot tub and danced later on. We always need to get everyone a few drinks in before it gets ratchet lol. The start is always chilling and pictures haha. Jeremiah passing the bottle around for people to just chug out of always helps lol. Partied there till 3am and then hit back up early to shower as Nicah was cold. People did food runs and we stuffed face and had a fun after party till late. Hit back to Philly and dropped friends off. No joke, at 6am, there was a second after party as we lit the hookah, people were eating and drinking again. At 7am, finally went to bed lol.
Sunday got up and hit Local Host to play Street Fighter V. Only went 1-2 sadly. Had fun and someone even brought the Sailormoon fighting game that people are really into. It’s so broken but entertaining cause everyone is OP as fuck.
Got back to Nicah’s to watch Baywatch movie that was really funny and good. Before leaving, me and Nicah started to talk about Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat and l ranted for a while. Then we watched Fatality collage and l didnt leave till 515am lol.
5/21 Monday still up, got home and got dunkin donuts iced coffee and did work and chilled for a while. Caught up on gaming news till 1130am and finally went to sleep. Got up at 6pm to do more work and have a small bbq w the roomies. Talking bout possibly getting a house cat and what we can do to the house and stuff. Later on hit Vince’s for poker and went even. I love poker. I got them into Omaha and Vince LOVES it haha.
Got home to do more work and watch Netflix Evil Genius while stuffing face and then worked on Sam and Nicah’s Cat Tribal deck till 830am cause Sam wants a cute deck but l want it good as shit so lm gonna make both girls a copy.
Tuesday got up late and did work for a while and then got mad food for FGC night. The guys helped cook and AdamN always helps out so much on bringing stuff and helping cook. FGC night was a lot of fun and there was more Magic the Gathering too in the kitchen. Literally kitchen table Magic lol. Had 3 set ups for fighting games and it was just a lot of fun. ScottD brought homecooked cupcakes aiohgaoihfdgaoi soo good. Played a ton of games and ended the night at 3am. Caught up on gaming news before knocking out.
Weds I hit up Philly to check out Matas and Q’s new TaskUp shared modern office space. Really well done and l really like this business model as an investment property/business. I’m def really curious to see numbers later on. The place looks great and lm excited to get it listed. Hit downstairs to her family’s business and good seeing her mother again too since our closing years ago.
Next up, got MinL to check out a ton of homes. We were ahead of sced towards the end and got a drink close by in Brewerytown. Saw more potential properties and then hit Nicah/Andy’s since Min had to go there anyway. Chilled and smoked hookah and then me and Nicah did a nice dinner at Del Frisco’s. OMG food so fucking good. I only been for restaurant week so it was nice to try something off the restaurant week menu. We got lamb and bone in prime rib and duddeeee… pricey but worth the money. The food was as perfect as could be. We stuffed face and dessert and also got lobster mac n cheese.
Hit back to her place to watch A Quiet Place as it was leaked but the subtitles for sign language was in korean in every version so we watched the The Titan which was really good. Chilled a lil before knocking out.
Thurs dropped Nicah off to class and did work all evening. Hit The Lab and took 1st place in our Round Robin. Only losing to Gabe 2-1 but beating the rest 2-0.

Not a lot of players but l’ll still take the win lol. Hit home to do work and worked on Magic the Gathering for a WHILE. Working on multiple decks. Ended up watching Netflix and eating left over steak as the steak was huge from Del Frisco’s.
Friday had house showings w Somanette and checked out some potential. Found nice places but they were pretty pricey. Hit home to do more work and then got to Nicah’s to set up pregame. Fraternity brothers and other friends came through and played a lot of beer pong going 4-1 w Vince. I love beer pong. 10 cup always. Higher probability of the better team winning.
We hit Johnnie Walker Lounge before midnight and danced allllll night but yooo l was so sweaty. Got drinks, ran around socializing… but mostly just dancing w Nicah’s ratchet ass. I love when she dances like a hoe hahaha. Afterwards, had a huge after party making more food and relighting the hookah. Played Jackbox 3 and just hung out till late.
Sat we got up to hit Mike and Sam’s place for coffee and food. Stuffed face and the coffee was really good. Mike really knows his shit so it was cool to see him make it and learn a lil about how he makes it. We played games and hung out for a while before hitting back to Nicah’s to nap cause we got no sleep the night before. Got up to pregame more and then hit up Johnnie again.
Found friends and just another night of dancing nonstop haha. Partied till closing and lm glad a lot of friends came through again. I feel like l know atleast 1/3rd of the entire lounge. It really is asian Cheers. Where everyone knows everyone.
Ended the night hitting home and watching My Hero and crafting Magic for a while again working on multiple decks.
Sunday got up and we hit Vince’s for poker. Won $10 and Nicah won $16 and had a lot of fun. Always good taking it easy and lm glad Brando and Alex are coming around more to Vince’s. Hit home to bum and eat while watching Dexter and that was pretty much the day since we had to try to sleep early(we didnt) for hiking the next day.
5/28 Monday we got up early to go hiking w Vince Thuy Mike and Sam. A place not too far and it was a chill hike. I was tired as fuck so lm glad it was chill. Took a lot of pics and goofed around but mostly… just hiking lol. We got ihop afterwards and then hit Vince’s to chill. We napped for practically 3 hours then played 13 and poker yayyy!! Lost $2 lol. Good hanging out. Hit back to my place for a lil then Giant and took Nicah back off. Hit home to bum and do work and made food and watched Top 8 Street Fighter V of Combobreaker w Jeremiah. Ordered cards for my first Brawl format deck. Depala Go Fast Brawl Deck. Seems mad fun and l like vehicles in general. I’m hype to try out Brawl. Watched my Lab matches on facetime w Nicah and knocked out late.
Tues got up and did work and hit AllStars card shop to trade in 2 high valued cards that will drop in value when it phases out of Standard but Warren wasnt in. Got mad groceries and hit back to set up FGC night. Friends helped grill and cook and we had a lot of fun. Burgers, hot dogs and salad. Stuffed face and played a ton of games. First a lot of Magic the Gathering. Me and Brown having fun w our classic Red Aggro deck that use to win us tournaments back in 2000. Of course it’s modified to adjust to the times but yea, it’s great lol. Me and Mike helped fix up Avery’s Ally deck to be more focused on the theme and now it triggers more and it is more aggressive. Had a lot of fun then switched to Street Fighter V for a lil. Food was on point and oaierhgoaihrg Adam does mushrooms right. He’s serious bout it. Doesnt just throw them on the pan. Had a lot of fun and we had 23 people come hang w us total. 3 set ups for fighting games and 4 players on Magic. Rotating in and out. We’re gonna need to do 4 set ups though so there is less waiting. Glad so many friends made it through. Hung out till 3am before heading up to do work, book homes and catch up on my gaming news.
