10/23 Monday was still up late playing Street Fighter 5. Mostly Ed and messing w some unranked Abigail. First time using Abigail in a while. He’s def so fun but OMG so much work to play him well. Ed is much more direct and Ed can apply pressure easily. Made dumplings and watched The Defenders before finally going to bed around 10am lol.
Got up at 930pm and stayed up all night figuring out plans with Atlantic City as Paola is hooking us up w free rooms and bottles again. Very thankful she does that. Played a ton of Street Fighter 5 since when I won 80 ranked matches, l got mad Fight Money used to buy costume colors and other cosmetic bullshit l barely use lol. Made bulgogi and rice and watched more The Defenders and did MAD reading on Magic the Gathering, updating the Affinity list as what is most popular now.

I like the way to common high ranking Affinity Deck is looking now. It’s more about being solid, less risky and 4 Galvantic Blast’s are the norm which was my favorite route anyway not just because I have a red player background. It’s just versatile and aggressive. There are a VERY few small changes that lm gonna try out all 3 variants to see what I like best. One helping w hand recovery slightly w the Bomat Rourier but removing 1 Galvantic Blast. And then removing a Memnite and adding 1 Weilding Jar for more security and hassle. We’ll see. There’s also another version someone did well w that’s very risky but high damage.
With the vampire deck, l dunno if lm gonna spend time and money building a Vampire deck for Commander but I am gonna make one for Modern and if there is a Vampire deck that gets popular in Standard, l’ll be playing that too. Standard it’ll prob be Token heavy I’m betting. We’ll see.

Tuesday still up, making phone calls and text messages and my clients are probably wondering why I’m sending listings at 630am. Still messing w Magic the Gathering. Reading about BW Tokens in Standard that looks madddd fun as well. Finally slept a bit after noon.
Got up at 7pm and did work and hit Vince’s for Poker and had a lot of fun playing w the guys. But holy shit my luck was so bad. Only hitting shit on the river constantly but folding beforehand. Gahhh my luck was HORRIBLE seriously… could barely make a pair all night. But then… we started playing yolo poker like we use to at pregame back years ago… dish a hand, $1 just flip’em. NO SKILL REQUIRED!!! I started winning here and there but then we started to up the ante and won a $5 per hand game hahahahaha got my monies back… most of it anyway. Was only -$12 for the night compared to -$40 lol. We were all standing up, all hype hahaha. It’s fast paced and we were hype. It was a lot of fun. Its funny how it takes so long to play a single hand, win $1-3 and then at the end of the night, we are just blowing out money on no skill yolo poker. Throwing cash on the table and screaming and shit haha.

Weds morning got Paola from the airport at 930am and caught up a lot. Hit Nicah’s to chill and played w Paola’s 10 week old puppy Mochi OMFGGGG SOOO CUTEEE!! We hung out for a bit then finally back to sleep. Got as much sleep as l could cause l’d need it. Got up and smoked hookah and bummed and played w the puppy before leaving to AC.
Got Mica and EmilyL and we hit up Harrah’s The Pool and yoooo the new rooms IOHSGE:OIGHSROIG
SO FUCKING NICE!!!! So big ass mirrors, big make up mirror for the girls, 2 long benches(l love benches for pregame cause its a lot of seating) and then mad soft nice lay out sofa thing good for seating and sleeping on. EFFICIENCYYY!!!!
So had a really fun pregame and just smoked hookah and did mini shots. What l like doing now like a bitch is having an ice cold drink and a ton of ice w a cup of vodka and just drinking both. When it’s mad cold, it’s good. We got stamped then came back up to drink more lol. Mini party till 1230am and then hit down and got bottles and partied in VIP. So we STARTED the dance floor.
It was a bit shallow and people seemed uncomfortable and we just went in and started the dance floor off right. A ton of people came onto the floor and joined us specifically. Random girls grinding on my ass w Nicah infront of me. Dudes all over the girls lol and random couples just like joining w us. Had a lot of fun on the dance floor for the next half an hour till we decided to hit back to the table and drink. Drank more and then later back to the room to get changed into bathing suits and lit the hookah and drank more lol. Then back downstairs to play in the hot tub. Felt nice just bumming it and being stupid in the hot tub. Had a lot of fun and Paola finished up a bit after 2 and joined us. We still had a ton of alc left so l gave it to 2 other couples who joined us at the hot tub so the alc didnt go to waste. Partied till 3am and then we hit back upstairs to hookah and eat mad food lol. Had a really good time with everyone and then pced out back to drop off Nicah and get Mochi back from Andy. Andy had the time of his life w Paola’s puppy. Hit back to my place and Mochi pooped in my room and finally laid down in the sofa to chill for an hour before my closing w Brown Thurs morning. Thurs still up, hit Brown’s closing and the closing was a lot of fun since it was just me Brown Jenny MikeD Mary and the listing agent/seller who is really cool Rob. Denise was doing title again and closing was just a big hang out while Brown signed papers lol. But just talked about a ton of stuff, laughed a lot and closing was smooth. Working w Rob was great through the whole process as he was not only ontop of his game but in general just a really chill dude. It’s kinda like when you get paired up in group projects in school and want someone who is reliable but it’s a bonus when they’re reliable and someone you get along w. It’s great and makes real estate in general a pleasure. I’m sure l’ll end up working w him again.
Mary Amie and Mike are already 2 staple friends that are on that small list of reliable people l work with who are also just cool people in general. Long is like that too. It’s just nice to keep the team small with people you like that get shit done.

Even some friends who dont come out too often made it out and also got to announce Hack selling his house earlier that day. Introduced Pearson and his friend Dan to everyone and glad they had no problem easily making new friends. DavidH had the best costume on. Partied till l had to leave for my DNA event to run.

Next up hit up Voltage for our Halloween DNA Event. HOLY SHIT the line at 1150pm was long. When I got inside from cutting line, the place was packed. VERY HAPPY how successful the event was already set to be. Ran in w Nicah Mica and Jeremiah and lm very thankful for them for helping me run the costume contest. Had the MC aka one of the security guards announce we were looking for contestants and just picked out costumes from the stage of what we could see being the best.
Decided with 7 guys and 7 girls as having 10 of each always felt dragged out. Its funny how I’ve been running costume contests for 5 yrs now but technically… lve only done it 5 times haha but its really straight forward. Find contestants, tell them how its gonna be run, run it and judge. Mica helped me keep the line in check. Nicah and Jeremiah helped me judge and its so much fun judging. It always ends up as a popularity contest though and the 2 winners both had a big organization backing them up. Had fun and danced for a lil and paid out the winners who were really happy about the cash prize.

Just played a ton of games and it was a chill night. Ended the night w Nicah watching Curb your Enthusiasm and eating Boston Market.

Tuesday got up at 3am and watched The Defenders and ate and did some work. Played a lil Dark Souls 3 and then switched over to Street Fighter 5. Felt good to be gaming. Dropped of my car to get tires changed and oil change and hit back. Took lil mental break to finish up the season of The Defenders and then hopped on Magic the Gathering online for some wins w the adjusted Affinity Deck. Every year there are very small changes but good changes to it. When I first started playing Affinity 3 yrs ago, it was aggressive but had some safety nets to defend against really bad game changing events. Now everyone plays the deck aggressive out the ass and l love it. Just how l like to play. It can literally drop the entire hand in one turn.
Afterwards, was looking at older cards and l do wanna do another deck. Maybe Vampires. Maybe tokens and not even sure if l wanna do standard or another modern deck but we’ll see. We hit Noto for Deorro and yo… trying to get into the dance floor was quite the journey. More difficult than Frodo and the Fellowship. We failed and just went into Erick’s VIP instead lol. Saved our night as we had room to dance and breathe and just jumped around ontop of the seating area. They like that spot a lot cause of the extra space infront of the VIP bottles and to stand ontop of the seating around the back. Partied hard and just had a really good fucking time as the music was balls the wall apeshit crazy. Deorro played a ton of his hits 130-2am and was glad the night happened the way it did. Avengers, Captain America 2, Spiderman and IronMan 2 are some of my favorites. Pretty much awesome fights, funny as it makes fun of super serious epicness as lots of Marvel movies do. Joss Whedon does that in a lot of his writing(also wrote Avengers) where he has something super serious happen then theres a joke to make fun of how over the top epic it was. The Black Panther movie looks really good too.

Second people feel they should go out if all other nights will be chill. Dropped off Nicah and Andy and hit home to do work and read gaming news while watching the movie Sully before knocking out.
Sunday got up and me and Jeremiah hit up The Lab in Hatboro. Had to make appointment calls at The Lab as games were starting late anyway and set up house showings and returned calls to other friends/clients. Played a ton of games as I entered Pokken Tournament and Street Fighter 5. So for some nights, when l play Pokken at Nicah’s, l’ll play a fuckload and it helped even tho it was 2 weeks ago or more. Came in 3rd place only losing to Jeremiah(Mezza) twice. Also took 3rd place in Street Fighter 5. Was feeling better about my gameplay. I didnt enter Marvel cause I havent touched it in 2 weeks and I’m currently in character crisis mode. We’ll see. Jeremiah is gonna teach me everything Monster Hunter and lm gonna see if she’s gonna be my Point Character with Thanos as my Anchor. If not, maybe back to Jedah or Ultron. We’ll see but Marvel really isnt my kinda game. Its fun yea but the way l like to play doesnt totally fit. We’ll see.
