So looking at my records for things l try REALLY hard in within gaming.... lm only slightly better than average which for HOW HARD l try l should be higher. So a person that is COMPLETELY AVERAGE and l state average as in wins half the time, losses half the time has a 50% win rate.
Average Kill:Death Ratio in all COD games came to a 1.65... as in l'll kill 165 people for every 100 times l die. That gives me a 62.2%
Ultra Street Fighter 4 overall win percentage... 70%
Magic the Gathering overall win percentage 63%
l was reading this chart of how well you need to do consistently in a 256 man tournament and the chart slopes steeply up at the very end.... as in 60-70% isn't cutting it when it comes to Major tournaments. Yea for a 16 man tournament l'll take between 1st-4th place and l have made Top 8, Top 4 in 80+ people events.... but.... overall.... l should be doing better. Its just a bit frustrating l guess. l really do commit when l have time(amount of time greatly varies throughout the year depending on work/social life). Sometimes l can play for literally 40 hours one week and sometimes l wont be able to game for 3 weeks straight.

6/26 Friday played Magic till lunch time lol. Slept during the day and got up in the afternoon to do more work and work on my guestlist. Can never sleep too much on Fridays cause my phone is just going off. Eventually got up and headed out and got Cindy and Angel and we hit up Rumor for open bar. Little break from pregames. So they were curious bout different drinks soooo...
We tried out different girly drinks and killed 5 drinks in 70 mins... lol. Def had fun drinking Midori sours, baybreezes and other drinks and got a stomach ache lol. Def fun tho and got pretty buzzed right before dancing. So a ton of friends came through and set up a birthday of a friend of a friend. Happy Birthday Janette! Hit the dance floor and partied w new and old friends and was trying to play cupid a lil lol. Danced till 2am and the bottoms of my feet were really sore. Def been a while since l've been at the club for over 3 hours. Afterwards, we stuffed face w tacos at a new spot really really close to Rumor that was on the way back to the car. Really good tacos but pricey. .
Sat got up late and took care of my work and guestlist again. Stuffed face w burgers and chilled w Brown and Jenny in the evening. Sricha mayo is sooo bad ass. So afterwards, hit up Rita's place to smoke hookah. She's been so helpful lately lol. She was also the one who gave me the heads up about Abby needing a home which is closing early July. Smoked hookah and chilled w Rita and Chris for a while before heading back out.
Got EmilyD and hit up 1925 and chilled by the 'DNA bottle' lol. Had friends come through and JackK and all also made it out. Found NikkiL and Yan and introduced everyone together and we had a pretty nice sized group together to drink and chill. Also met Qing who is looking for a home so def happy l made it out. Afterwards we hit up Jack's place to smoke hookah, drink and chill for a lil while after. Def a good after party and just good being out and at Jack's again. Chilled till 430am or so and afterwards hit back late.
Stuffed face w edemame and slept lol.
Sunday spent the start taking care of work. Hit up Lush as Emily needed some stuff and we got SueQ and we stopped by Emily's parents so she could give her Dad a Father's Day gift. Afterwards, the 3 of us hit up korean bbq as l was just craving it for a while. l like A LOT of different food and the city spoils me but driving down to Philly just for a meal is a lot because l drove sooo much already ya know? So l dont get to eat whatever l want whenever l want because its pretty time consuming but lm glad l got to kill this craving. Kim chi mixed w white rice is soooo good too. All of kim chi.... l just grab random stuff and mix it in. Def a really good meal and good to get to know SueQ non-drunk lol.
Chilled at Sue's for a bit afterwards and killed bugs lol fun times!! Hit back home and me and Emily played Magic the Gathering and watched Shark Tank to end the night.
Monday we got up late and l hit up house showings in King of Prussia w Nancy and found a really great home we loved. Afterwards, hit up the King of Prussia mall and pooped while she shopped lol. Afterwards, hit my office to print out Magic cards for Steve and then got groceries and hit back. SteveC got the cards and l used it so he could move a ton of groceries for me. Small price he had to pay for my efforts. Thanks. Afterwards, more Shark Tank and Catfish while stuffing face. Def a good day.
Tues started w home inspection for DavidS on his accepted offer on his home last week. Home inspection went really smooth and lm glad we got it at a great price. Hit back home and slept all day as.... l kinda stayed up all night lol. Got up later and me and Emily hit up Cheesecake Factory.
Cheesecake Factory was really good and stuffed face w different pastas. Took a bit to get our food but whatever... we got it and it was banging. Ended w coffee and cheesecake and yooooo soo good. Kinda wanna do it more often. l dont make coffee tho so l may learn just for pairing it w cheesecake lol. Well l prob shouldn't do it too often being lactose intolerant. But anyway... food was dope.
Hit home and did work and ended the night playing a bunch of Magic the Gathering.
Weds l was still up reading and playing Magic the Gathering. Sooo into it again. Spent the day working on a ton of stuff starting at 9am and l do my best not to call people earlier than 10am. Got A TON OF WORK done and ahhh so relieving. Watched some Naruto and got my haircut and got gift cards for a few clients who have closings in the next few weeks. Hit back home and slept really early... like 6pm lol.
Thurs got up mad early... like 3am or so. Watching Naruto and stuffing face and spent the morning focusing on Magic the Gathering. Next up, hit up Philly and did the final walk through w Esteban for his home and hit up closing at my office. Closed on Esteban's new home and def happy for him and his brother to have a big spacious open layout home that we were looking for. They have been pretty picky but in the end... picky clients are actually easier to work w because they jump on what they love rather than being undecided. But yayyy closing.. always a good day for everyone.
Afterwards, played some Magic the Gathering w SteveC and had to whip his ass a few times w my Affinity deck lol. But fun games and def learned a lot. Talked w him a lot on BW Token's deck as well. Another deck that interests me but l'd just be rocking it online for fun to enjoy... prob not tournament. But... maybe.... this is the only other deck l would ever consider.... that and GR Tron too... damn it..... Also may get into Commander format... damn it........ l feel like now that lm making spurts of money... l wanna spend it and Magic the Gathering is expensive... but yeaa..... if l spend $1500 total on Magic in 3 months.... ughh but then again, its decks that hold their value this time, not like playing Standard and Draft. Not sure.... its kinda like buying a cool Marvel statue like Brown... they hold their value, it's enjoyable and if l really really really ever needed my money back, l can sell it for 90% of its value. But.... l dont think l'll ever get into a state where l NEED $300 that bad that l dont have. lm not that terrible w my money as much as lm plotting on buying more decks lol.
Anyway... afterwards, hit Rita's to smoke hookah w Rita and Chris just to hang. Good times and she got me a new hose and rubber piece for the bowl and new coals that are really nice. Big donut coals that lit well. Thank you Rita!!!! Chilled till a bit past 8pm and good times. Hit home and had to sleep. Was awake wayyy too early lol. l coulda went clubbing but gaurioghaoirhgoairg..
Friday started booking house showings and then got lunch w Jenny as she slept over Thurs but Brown had to hit work. We ordered mad chinese food and stuffed face and then l had a headache probably because normal sleep sceds kill me.... had to lay down and slept for a while lol. Got up again and ran mad errands and then yayyyyy guestlist and pregames. Setting up birthdays again and got Cindy and Angel and hit pregame at MayW's. Friends came through, played pool and had drinks and had a good time tho the building is becoming much more strict.
Headed out and we got Anna and her group of friends too. JennaZ even had a birthday list as well. Between all promoters, we had a massive group and just gave up on introductions and finding and getting everyone in one spot. Just ran around dancing w friends and it was a really good time. Partied till 2am before taking everyone back home.
Sat work up slightly late and ate and chilled for a few hours before pcing out to AC. So went w Allison and Chris and thank you Chris for driving. So nice not to be driving whenever l can. l like having the control but ahh its so nice just sitting and being able to play on my phone lol. So set up pregame at the hotel and tons of friends came through for Dayu's birthday.
Su did a really good job setting it up. Big group came through and Dayu and Su brought out their deadly Bacardi 151. Ohhhh fucking goddddddddd so we had to drink Bacardi 151. Chris straight up passed out because of it lol. More and more friends came through and we quickly went downstairs to get stamped for Mur Mur then back up to the room for more drinking and smoking lol. Drank till 1am and some people gambled and then came back to the room.
Finally club time and hit downstairs. Ahhh dunno who was DJing but the DJ was on point. A lot of hype tracks that made everyone excited and dancing was mad fun as we took over a good chunk of the center of the dance floor. Mur Mur has always been a consistently great spot in AC for years. Right now l would say Mur Mur, Haven and Dusk would be someone's best bet for maximizing fun for Atlantic City. Partied till about 3am and def glad to be out.
Ended the night w more gambling and yooooo our whole squad wasnt doing so hot lol... nooO00OoOoo0o0oOoOO!!!!!11
So hit the room, smoked and chilled w everyone till a lil bit after 4am or so. Good times w everyone and nice seeing some people l havent since just about a year ago. Thank you Dayu and Su for inviting me out!! Chris drove me and Allison back home and got in before 7am ughh lol.
Sunday got up and was hurting. Hit house showings w ScottMcE. Checked out a few properties, one which l loved. Super modern home. It's a home that look like it was in the movies of some genius rich scientist... like Ex Machina or Iron-Man. Ok maybe not Iron-Man's home but it was modern as fuck. l loved it. Saw some really cool shit and it was a nice day out and good to catch up w Scott. Talked about cars for a bit too. l feel like lm sooo dumb compared to my friends sometimes about some everyday things such as cars.
Afterwards, got Emily and we got dim sum as the soup dumplings, soo0o good and l wanted more. Ordered a ton of stuff so we'd have variety and more to take home hehe. l love left overs. We also got some food from Nanzhao handdrawn noodles and duck cause l wanted duck and pun w that hoison sauce. Ended the night watching off the rest of Sherlock and stuffing face.
Tues we got up mad early cause we slept so early Monday. Started Tues w Magic the Gathering, warm cookies w vanilla icecream ontop along w a bowl of milk and some History channel. Def a good way to start the day lol. Watched more Shark Tank afterwards and then in the early afternoon, we got madddd sleepy and napped.
Got up and got more food in Philly. More dimsum!! So ordered a ton of stuff so l'd have.... LEFT OVERSSSSS hahahaha l feel like this is my move. Eat out, order a lot, bring home leftovers. We hit up Long's to have a little meeting and went over the next few months and def excited for the school yr to start to work on some of our bigger events again. That part is more fun than simply promoting weekend 21+ events. l like being highly involved. Good meeting and always good hanging out in general w Long outside of nightlife as well. Dropped off Emily and hit home and took care of a ton of work esp w my next closings and new clients. VERY happy l've been getting new clients lately just from chance of friends, new and old. Real estate has been VERY good to me.
Weds hit up house showings w Qing and her family. Really nice family and we checked out a bunch of homes in Philly and it was cool being in different waterfront condos. The view is pretty amazing but it comes with a price of course. Def saw some cool stuff and def interesting how some people live. If l had some of these spots, there would def be some cool different hang out spots around the house or outside of it. Esp on the roof overlooking the water at one property. Def really nice checking out homes in Philly again. l feel like l've been doing homes in waves between Philly, Bucks and Montgomery. But it's good as it's constant change in scenery and it keeps me well diversified. l have big goals this year and l already decided to change my goals because l already technically accomplished my 2015 goal. The only big fear l have, besides failure in general is that lm not AS 'successful' as l am the next yr as l was the previous year. lm sure it'll happen one year but l rather not have that be anytime soon.
After, got Emily to get food at Melting Pot. Thank you for the dinner Emily :DDDDD !! Def a different kinda place to eat at and its fun to dip in a variety of food into the melted cheese w other stuff and then later on do it w the wine and broth mixed together. The dessert is to do hot melted choc w fruits and stuff but we were wayyyy too stuffed to do it. We will def be coming back just to do dessert sometime soon tho. Just to experience it if anything.
Next up, got some bubble tea at Tea Do and then hit up Zahav to get a gift card for Abby for her closing for Thurs since it is her favorite place to eat at. Took forever to find because it's not right off the road and had to do some exploring. Def a cool place tho and will def have to try eating there in general. Finally last stop - Spruce Street Harbor. Walked around, layed out and no hammock luck but whatever. Took pics and just bummed it and it was really nice. The environment is just very chill. Bummed around for a while until taking Emily back.
Hit back home and just did A LOT of reading on Magic the Gathering.
Thurs got up and hit Abby's closing. Settlement went smooth and lm really happy for not only the home Abby got but how much she attained in equity. Congrats Abby!! Afterwards, hit my office and turned in my closing and hit back. Stuffed face and thank you Joss for the food and wasnt feeling too good. Not sure if its because of all the inconsistent sleep or if my body is preparing for the crazy weekend ahead. Slept at 8pm and got up at 130am and started playing Magic the Gathering online in tournaments and doing pretty well. Winning packs you can sell back. So its $6 to enter a tournament. l can win between 1-7 packs depending on how well l do. 7 packs if l go 4 wins 0 losses. Each pack can be sold back for $5.30. So as long as l dont suck really bad, l can keep playing, earn my QP points to enter the main big tournament and sell back the packs so its not costly. l just wanna do it big time this month. After that, then chill w the tournaments. We'll see. Been talking w friends about Magic the Gathering in tournaments, different decks and also may run the tournament at BIG E's Summer Jam 9 Northeast Championships which runs all Fighting Game tournaments but they want to add in Magic the Gathering too. We'll see.
Afterwards, helped Joss move back home. His wifey comes back next month so they are settling down. Ahhhhh life... glad we had this year together at housemates tho but he'll be around and gaming w us so its whatever.
