l just need to close on a few more homes this summer and l'll be set through winter. Be very nice to just.... sit on money lol.
Tues started off the day w a lot of work followed up by a house showing in NJ. A bit of a long trip overall but the home showed really well so it was worth the time. Come home to Vicky in my room which is always nice haha and then got a call that Brown's offer has been accepted. Def a good Tues so far. Me and Vicky pced out to get groceries and milkshakes lol. Dunno why l get milkshakes and l act like l dont care when an hour later... l do care. l regret it and l feel stupid as a mudslide is flowing outta my asshole lol.
Later on had a good time cooking a nice pasta w garlic shrimp and broc. Def a really good dish we made. Even the sauce. We really do a good job when we focus on cooking. It is a lot of work but its really nice eating something good and knowing we made it. Go Team lol. So we ate food while watching the movie Identity Theif. Enjoyable movie but kinda predictable. Def a chill evening.
Weds had more work in the morning. Oddly l have the most amount of work when Vicky is over lately lol. Submitted an application to Eventhubs to be a writer. l figured, l love writing, l love gaming and l'd actually be around to tournaments and stuff to report anyway... might as well do it... and its a paying job too. Not sure how much but l dont care about the pay.
We hit up AC Moore, Michaels Arts and Crafts and the mall to shop around as Vicky wanted to build a nice Graduation Gift basket for Allison for Graduating High School. Pintrest helped her ideas and we went out to get a ton of stuff. Hit up the mall and got more V neck shirts from H&M... Yooooo so they arent super deep v necks where l look to metrosexual. l admit, back in the day, l cared about my looks a lot a lot and was kinda metro but it was a phase. Anyway... these shirts are like $8.... MADDDD comfy, long on the bottom and look nice. Oh yea, they go w a lot of shorts. So like.... l may be going to buy more lol. For real - l like them a lot.
Hit back home and took out all the stuff to work on the gift for Allison. After building it.... it was actually really really well done. l was pretty proud.... of Vicky's work lol. Its a girl thing l guess. l think girls aim for cute where guy's ideas of gifts are more for utility. We took a nice long nap and woke up and made dinner while watching the movie 21 and Over. Just pasta, mac n cheese and stuffing/mashpotatoes lol. Simple but so good. Thanxgiving like dinners are always nice. Def a good few days w her and took her back late night.
Thurs had tons of work followed by Allison's graduation. Nice seeing some old teachers again and hit home. Afterwards gave Allison her Graduation Gift. She really liked it. lm glad. It took us forever to get and make lol. But whatever, Allison is my kid sister and l'll prob always see her that way. lm glad she was happy.
Kept it really simple that night. Kinda just played Ultra Street Fighter 4 all night lol. Really really working hard w Hugo. l think he is a bit gimmicky too tho. l mean - if a set up is dash up to someone and command grab them.... that is a gimmick itself. Same w stand over a downed opponent and guess between anti air grab and on the ground command grab. lm just yolo'ing my estimated guess of what they're going to do. As much as a good player can determine what you are going to do..... by making the moves just hard reads to those educated guesses.... its still in the end an educated guess. Its not.... smart. Its just.... l guessed right or l guessed wrong. l dunno.... but he has big health so he can keep going in those situations and win because he can guess wrong a lot more. Guessing right leads to a combo or command grab or Ultra lol.... guessing wrong leads to eating a DP or them just getting away. Its worth putting yourself into those situations if you got mad health and do mad damage. We'll see. l really do believe Hugo is better than where people place him as 'bottom tier' right now.
Fri started w work for a while when l woke and got a headache. Lead up to a nap lol. yayy more sleep. Later on hit up Mike's place and Eric and Andres came through. The 4 of us played Ultra Street Fighter 4 for 5 hours lol. Smoking hookah, teaching Mike and having matches. Def a really good time. Thank you Andres for bringing a second set up. Had a really good time nerding out and smoked a lot of hookah.
Afterwards pced out to Whisper, DNA event for Brian's bday. Def a good time and met some people and other friends came through. Nothing too different than usual. Just a good time on the dance floor and enjoyed being out. Happy Birthday Brian. l still gotta hit him up, he was walking around w some random cute girl later on in the night and earlier he was looking for a girl to dance w. Wondered what happened there lol. Hit back late night and bullshitted online before passing out.
Sat hit up Matt and Gif's bbq all day. A full day event. Tons of our friends came through, just eating burgers and other bbq foods. Brought the hookah of course and Beerio Kart w the new Mario Kart 8 inside. Simply just did that all day and it was amazing. l really fucking love bbqs. Its like a CHILL party but as long as theres friends and food... yooo.. lm durr. But good catching up w some other friends l dont get to see often and l loved eating icecream cake and then chugging beers for Beerio Kart 8. Happy Birthday Matt and SteveC!!!!!!!11111 It was also Quigs and Stacey's going away party. Its sad but then again.... l talk to Quigs frequent and we play games together online where l wont feel like l will really MISS him from talking to him often enough to like you know... whatever.... plus theres facebook. Theres really no MISSING anyone and feeling disconnected from someone anymore. You can bother someone easily whenever, see what they've been up to and joke around w them casually any moment you like. l like the digital world. Sure in person is always the best but you cant be in person w everyone you care about often enough as you'd like due to real life shit that happens lol.
Anywayyyyy bbq was mad fun. Enjoyed my time there and helped clean up late night. Was soo damn tired and just decided to actually stay in that night. Weird right? l mean the BBQ was a full day social event as is anyway. Def exhausted and watched clips of Ultra Street Fighter 4 and junk and passed out.
Sunday got up and got to Vicky's. Her mother made Pho which was really good. l need to find those noodles so l can make pho myself. And learn how to make the soup. Pho is one of my overall favorite foods along w Lobster, Tom yum lemon drop soup, Mee Siam and Soho chicken lol. Roast pork noodle soup is getting up there too.
We pced out and get more food, Bubble Tea and hit up David's Mai lah wah for more late night food - salt and pepper chicken and walnut shrimp. Watched History Channel 2 and snacked haha. We ended up the night watching scary movies and l slept somewhat early.
So we hit up Rita Aid for tanning lotion and then got Rita's waterice afterwards. Hit back to make dinner which was just heating up meatballs her mother gave us along w dumplings and salt and pepper chicken. Watched the movie House at the end of the Street which was a really good psycho thriller - dope dope dope fucking twist. l enjoy horror mysteries. l was going to play some games but Vicky was passing out early. Like 1230am early. l just decided to make myself sleep so l wouldnt get woken up w 4 hours of sleep on and off and being tired all day Tues. The things l do for her... lol
Tues me and Vicky were off to build more gifts yayy!! Her sister Linda turning 21 so yea.... AC Moore, Michaels Arts and Crafts, Oxford Valley mall. Got Subway and got more V cut shirts lol. They're so soft and go w shorts well. Whatever, lm a very lazy dresser. l do the bare minimal to be somewhat fashionable. Its so bad. So took forever as she was undecided on everything picking out things to build Linda's gift. Pretty good looking gift tho in the end for her 21st.
We hit up the pool again, tanning and swimming and yo... in 2 days, we got a good amount of color. Pretty happy bout it lol. We afterwards, just had dinner and watched a lot of tv. Watched the movie Taken which makes me feel like parent cause l always worry about friends going to other areas outside the US running around. Esp my little sister running around China by herself l always felt uneasy about.
Also of course watched our favorite Pretty Little Liars omgomgomgomgomg lol and then watched the premier of this show called Tyrant. Looks mad interesting. l like it so far. Will be watching next week. Cuddled the rest of our time. Well lol cuddled kinda hehe. Took her back late night and as always, driving home after dropping her off is sad and lonely. But lm glad lately we've been getting a lot of time together compared to once a week as we use to.
Hit home and played a shitloada Tomb Raider(2013) as l got it on Summer Steam Sale for just $5!!! The game isnt even 2 yrs old and its a great game w great reviews lol l love summer sale. l got Bioshock Infinite, Batman Arkham Origins and other bullshit for under $10 each. The deals are crazy good.
Weds had home inspection w Brown, his Father and Jieun. Went pretty quick and took a lot of measurements. l was thinking of my room for a while how l'd make the set up. Theres so many factors to make things very...... convinent. Just having everything in reach. My room isn't too big so lm just accepting that my room will be tight but will be comfy. Lots of desk space, bed good angle to TV and computer monitor(when l watch movies w Vicky).
Hit back and chilled, played more Tomb Raider and its def what Tomb Raider shoulda been from the start but whatever, different times. You really are a Tomb Raider this game, an archialogist w guns lol.... Very The Mummy. But theres like history facts and by choice tombs you raid, puzzle solve and learn shit lol. Its honestly just a really great game. Combat system is simple and straight forward but entertaining enough. A bit brain dead tho. l never really had to THINK - auto pilot gets me through just fine through all the combat. The old Tomb Raider games tho did have great combat as well. It was a bit jagged then but still entertaining.
Later on house showings w Ivan and Grase in NJ which went well and always good to chill w them for a bit. Smooth ride there and back even tho l was going at rush hour. Afterwards - Rust hahahaha w Scumbag Squad. So...... SteveC, his bro Andrew, Corey, Hack and Fox joined in and yoooo we could not find each other forever. AFTER being established in that game and building your fort w friends and having guns and shit... the game is fun. But TRYING to find friends, not die to people w guns while you have rocks and shit... OMFGGG l hate that game lol. its so fustrating. l just wanna build my awesome fort w my backdoor 5 level drop trap to lure in suckers for free loot. Sniper tower and multi layered doors for easy defense. Anyway - we jumped off after 2 hours. Fucking game..
Ending the night watching the weekly weds night fight of Next Level in NY and then Level up in SoCal for Ultra Street Fighter 4. Thinking bout the room l'll have in Sept and the lay out. Good thing l got a huge closet, that helps a lot. Gonna sleep tho.
Not like l got a big day tomm. A LOT of phone calls and paperwork.
