lm happy tho. My friends wanna kill me when l say l gotta wake up at 10am and complain about it - then it reminds me how good l have it. Just my sleeping and eating habits gotta get fixed. We'll see. Its rough when l can accomplish more at night but at the same time, real life works during the day.
Also from all the dancing, running around, zoo walking and everything else..... my legs have been ridiculously sore lately. Oh yea the nights where l get 2-3 hours of sleep cause l have house showings, open houses and meetings and stuff...... My legs tho..... l seriously feel like l could destroy things w my kicks. My horse legs are getting ridiculous. l gotta find a way to have fun and burn my sides tho. l dont have a spare tire but lm not happy w my sides. Arms and legs are totally fine. l always wanted more of a Spider-Man body than a Thor body ya know?
KK so last 2 weeks.
Friday started off taking my sister to work. From there hit up Bounme's and just got there just as he got home from work. Ordered some pizza's, lit the hookah and played some Street Fighter 4 along w Peter. Vee came through as well and the 4 of us chilled and had a good time bumming it and gaming before going out.
We hit up Red Maple in Baltimore and Alem was already there to greet us. Mike Lisby was DJing so the music was gonna have a great variety of dance music. Stuff to vogue, to krump(pretend Krump), to get hype to and to grove to. Very dope variety. Anna and Nate also made it out for my birthday and it was really good seeing them two as l havent seen them since Oct in DC.
So we had a really solid group to party w. All dancers and had our lil circle. Not a show off dance circle but just our group together in a circle. Fun playing w the music and pretending like l could do different dance styles like salsa, vogue and shit. l really really do want to learn to vogue on the side. Not take it mad serious but learn some more foundational moves besides the duck walk and the make up move lol. Its just - theres A LOT of personality in it and thats what makes it(for me) really entertaing to watch and to do.
We seriously danced like crazy as l was needing water and a seat on and off. Had to go outside to cool off as well a few times. But our squad was so fun, it couldnt have been helped. My legs and bottoms of my feet were extremely sore. This is why my legs are still in well shape tho my midsection has gone to complete ass. Dancing burns off my limbs really well but my midsection isnt really doing much when party dancing. Thank you guys all for coming out for my birthday ROUND 1!!
We got food and hit back to Bounme's and me Bounme and Vee just ate, drank gatorade, smoked hookah and talked about all sorts of stuff. Hung out for a while and then got a shower and me and Vee ended up talking and catching up about everything for another 2 hours lol. It felt like grade school sleep overs where you end the night just laying there talking about everything. Tho it doesnt feel like Vee and Dan moved to Maryland, l didnt realize till talking all night how much there was to catch up on. Really good late night convo before passing out.
Sat woke up and hit up Dmoe's Street Fighter 4 tournament. So the past few weeks, ESP the last 2 weeks, l've been playing like a mad man. l learned so much. Really applied my patient game and have been doing really well. There was 4 players l was nervous to play, just solid players and l had to play 3 of the 4. The 4th being Dmoe. Hung out, helped set up, lit the hookah and warmed up.
Tournament started and well... had to face solid players which lm not a fan of. l rather play people who jump a lot, who DP a lot so l can simply chill and punish. Essentially..... let them make mistakes and them damage them for it. But all my matches were pretty grueling. Not a lot of big damage but it was a very long grind down process of many correct choices being made to slowly whittle down my opponents. Faced Nader's Ryu, Phil's Gouken and Alex's Ryu in Winner's finals, he then beat Nader in loser's finals(Nader beat everyone in the loser's bracket all the way up to loser's finals) and then Alex won and l faced Alex again in Grand Finals. They only slipped up once each to jump in which l used Ultra 1. But in general.... l didnt land a lot of Ultra and Super off in the tournament. Everyone was very well aware of it and safe to avoid it. But lm glad my fundamentals was enough to win the tournament and l didnt have to depend on the Super and Ultra like l do a good amount of time online.
But yea, won the tournament and met a lot of cool players and will be fun to play, practice and learn w them. With Ultra Street Fighter 4 coming out in June...... the scene is gonna blow up again, everyone will be hype to play and learn and its gonna be a really really fun summer.
Afterwards, me and Bounme got food at Khan's and got fried noodles w vegatables and stuff. Felt like college at Kutztown's main cafeteria on campus. l miss eating that. Stuffed face and checked out U Street Dance Hall. It was meh as a Birthday Round 2. Dance circles and shit and jumped in and saw old friends. Good seeing Rex too as l havent seen him in forever and it was really good catching up. The scene was very awkward tho. A lot of different types of people that.... it just wasnt hype. Very stand around, talk, half dancing here and there. We went for GrandMaster Flash. He was DJing so it was cool to see someone so old in the scene. The crowd was kinda meh tho... just everyone cramped in w their phone up recording. That was really it. No dancing or jumping around or anything. Just straight standing w phones up. Was thinking of hitting Echostage to see everyone else as many friends were there and Nervo was playing but my phone had 2% and Bounme's phone was dead and tickets were $50 at the door and it was already 130am. So just pced out and hit back to Bounme's to chill. Hookah and food to end our night and we gossiped like little girls. l loved it haha. We really got to catch up on A LOT this weekend which was really good. Thank you as always Bounme for having me over and taking me out!! lm hype as now hes been more into Street Fighter lately. Working w Ken. l think Ken would be a good path for him. Plus Ken is getting buffed, hes a shoto and he's solid but can be played mad tricky. Kara Throw is so OP. l fall for that shit for days.
Sunday hit up Hack's place for me and Gif's joint birthday w Scumbag Squad. So same squadron as always came through and had a really good time together. First Hack wanted me to do 5 shots, 7 shots and we can hookah outside. So..... l made a chaser of icetea and did 3 shots then the next 4.... l spit the shot into my chaser as l 'drank' the chaser. l was slick and only Joss noticed. Hookah outside and chilled w some of the neighbors as well. Chilled w drinks and hookah and me and Jieun did some shots. Eating pizza, thank you Scott and Jeni for that and had a really good time enjoying the weather.
So later on Joss texted Brown what l did and Brown sold me out for all my assholeness during Beerio Kart. So then l had to drink more to make up for it leading to me puking which is on video lol. Thanx Adam. Joe beat me twice in Beerio Kart and l was so sad. So instead of chugging most the beer in the start and then racing.... l like to stop at the finish line, chug it all then cross the finish line. Joe passed me by a second and l danced thinking l won. Ahhh damn it. Later on it was cake time, thank you guys for the cake!! There was 2 cakes - one for me and one for Gif, both were mad good. Walked around like an asshole cause Brown attached my stupid ass Sesame Street Balloon to my hoodie ughh.... l wasnt sure if it was my birthday or a Rob Zheng Roast Fest.
Played Drunk Quest but just went around one round in which everyone dropped all their cards to make me drink..... Yeaaa haha so that was a lot of fun but lm glad everyone came together as always. Very nice sunday w Scumbag Squad for my birthday Round 3. Joss drove me home lol. Thank you Joss.
Monday woke up early and picked up Allison and then had a meeting in Doylestown for a while. Felt like a champ l was good to go after such a crazy long 3 days. Got groceries later on and hit back home to eat chicken. Afterwards, Vicky came over and brought me her Birthday Present. A backmassager that attaches to chairs!! So l almost bought one a while back and she said 'no l dont need one' lol that snake.... she tricked me again. l think... she gets away w tricking me so much is because l dont expect it coming. l dont second thought anything she says. So she can play me well anytime she likes. Thank you for the amazing gift lol. l kinda use it a bit too much. Its really comfy. Round 4 of my birthday(on the actual birthday) was exactly how l wanted it to be. No club, no party, no debachary.... just a moment of peace w Vicky. Besides, l got really pretty drunk the night before.
Later just got dinner at Applebee's and stuffed face. l didnt feel like going far out. l just wanted wings and motz sticks lol. Hit back home and watched some Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood but by midnight.... l was blacking out. Just so little sleep since Thurs and such a long Monday, we knocked out a bit past midnight.
Tues she worked on homework and studying while l watched videos on Street Fighter 4 and shit lol. We hit up Doylestown to go out and walk around town but the wind was kinda rough lol. It LOOKED like a nice day anyway lol. We'll be doing the Zoo in Philly soon. Hopefully the weather is nice next week. Hit up some stores, saw Cyborg One the nerd spot of Doylestown. Got food at a pub and the burger was bad ass. Tasted like McDonald's Big Mac sauce. l gotta learn to make that for my sandwiches.
Hit back and napped and woke up making food. So we just made a mix of canned shit lol. We have been getting pretty lazy w our cooking as she mentioned to me. We use to make crazy stuff from scratch, pre-plan, go out and buy and figure out how to make food. Lately hahahaha 'chef boyodee? k cool' lol. Oh well. Next time, we'll make something and spend time on it. Ate and watched Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and enjoyed the rest of the night w her before she had to go. Def an amazing 2 days w the girlfriend and wouldnt have spent it any other way. lm so lucky to have her. Even w my small misfortunes l go through - lm not even bummed. HEHE!!
Weds playing email and phone call games. Nothing difficult. Brown and Joss took me out for a birthday dinner at Red Lobster. Thank you guys. Dinner was really good and omg the biscuits. Two different lobsters asorighaiosrhgoaihgoaihr.... lol really good time w two of my oldest friends. lm really glad these still have stuck around this long lol. Amazing ass dinner and really good night out. Hit back home and had a really productive long night. A lot of reading, a bit of studying, a few distractions on Facebook, and knocked off a few things on my Get Done checklist. Lists mentally calm me down so much. Really good weds in general.
Thurs late in the afternoon, stopped by Eric's for lots of Street Fighter 4 and hookah. Good time as always and damn.... he really knows me. l gotta switch up my game w him but he just knows how l think so well. Against my Cammy the game is a bit different. Joe chilled w us for a bit as well and ended up staying longer than expected. Late night Adam came through to make me dinner for my birthday. Chilled w him and Allison for a while and lit the hookah and caught up on a lot. He made dope pasta and made a shitload so l had some quick meals later on. This guy lol..... l was gonna tear up my kitchen but we'll see how things play out. lm such a lil girl but it was an entertaining night. Watched Vikings late night and passed out.
Friday started off the day taking Allison to Philly and then hit up Vicky's place. We bummed it and damn.... l just love taking it easy w her. So we hit up Rumor as DNA was there as my Birthday Round 5 a ton of friends made it out. The start was w a small group as we started off the night w the free open bar till midnight and enjoyed that mucho. Getting everyone together - we hit the hip hop room and it was flooded. Found room and just had a really really good night dancing. Vicky was pretty wild again lol..... just 2 drinks and shes on my level haha l love it. Also really crazy seeing Bianca there as l havent seen her since Echostage in DC. Also Jinny came through w a squadron and turned out shes roomates w Christine whose birthday l just set up a few weeks back. Philly asians..... all networked together lol. So was playing to hit up Whisper at 1am but then some friends just got into Rumor late so l stayed till 2am.
At 2am, we hit up Whisper at thank you everyone at Whisper for surprising me w the bottle service!! So got a bottle of Ciroc and the bottle service girls poured everyone a glass and we drank, did shots, more friends l saw here and there came in and did shots w me and hit up the dance floor. Had a good time extending the night and dancing more. Some guy made it rain and l pocketed $25..... l dont have shame. $25 is still $25 and it pays for something. Back and forth from the dance floor to the table and had a really good time playing VIP lol. Bonus fun is always nice. Jinny and Jaime jumping in the dance circles and it was exactly how l wanted my Philly birthday to be. For the first time ever l tripped up on the red rope handing tip to the bottle service girl. l was pretty embarassed that l was almost that guy. But yea.... a surprise bottle of Ciroc that we had to destroy will do that. l really got to spend time w a lot of friends and at my 2 favorite spots. l really dont go anywhere else often outside of Philly. Thank you everyone for coming out!! End of the night, took Vicky back and SteveO rode w me and had to pass out quick.
Sat woke up for house showings deep into NJ. 2 hour round trip but l got good guy points for taking the far trip out. Really nice house but had a good number of iffy issues. The 2 hour round trip wasnt too bad tho as the weather was nice and the drive was refreshing.
Literally got home, ate food in 20 mins and went right back out onto the road. Got Brown and Jieun and then Adam and Sam and we hit up Brown's shore house to hookah and drink. Had a good time pregamming and yoooo being in that shore house. SO MANY GOOD MEMORIES there!! Its just so many nights that we bring up over and over and over again. l love that house lol.
So we hit up Haven and it was $25 for guys, free for girls before 11pm. So we got in at 1040pm lol and yo.... so l thought being AC.... its gonna be kinda lame till 1230am and we just gotta chill and maintain the booze in our system for an hour and half. Well it was actually pretty hype already at 11pm. So found Justin - Happy Birthday man!! and the rest of the ISK bboys and friends and got drinks. Introduced my squadron w to the MD crowd and also met Justin's girlfriend and a few others l never met before. While looking at my wallet, a napkin slaps my wallet and l look up to see SteveS bartends there lol. So got drinks and caught up w him and introduced him to some friends and he has guestlist as well which l'll be using. Always nice having hooks up everywhere l go.
The thing about my social life.... its really cheap money wise. Having connections everywhere, networking friends and helping out their lists and junk.... l really just pay for gas and food. Plus the guestlist money l make from promotions(l dont count my nightlife money as a income factor but as a food gas and buy dumb stuff on amazon.com factor) oh yea someone made it rain at Haven too... another $18 lol. It doesnt end there tho.
But w the night - A bit after 11pm, there was def a crowd but people werent truly dancing yet. Just yolo ran in there w the squadron and we started dancing. The dance floor in 5 mins just filled in and people were dancing and it was hype. So it was more hip hop top 40 till around 1am and then it switched up to hype EDM. Ran around and danced up on stage and they let guys up on stage there. Also found ChristinaP from Kutztown and caught up big time. Really good seeing her again as l think the last time l saw her was 5 yrs ago. Kait was also working there and caught up a little as she does bottle service there.
Running around back and forth w friends and dancing all over the place. l really like Haven. Its as good as the hype everyone was giving. At 230am our bodies were just so beat lol. Took forever finding my car as we kinda forget where l parked. Afterwards gambled and won $100 on craps. lm not a huge gambler but while lm there, might as well play a little bit. So that alone paid for the entire trip lol. Having a really good birthday week right? Not a lot of money here and there but its more so the fact that everything has been more than covering my night life. Including gas, tolls, tip, food lol. So yea... around 4am hit back home and after dropping off everyone, got in a bit past 6am. Birthday Round 6 complete lol!!
Sunday woke up for my open house and hosted that. Nothing too crazy. Nice home and all but not a lot of people came through. Afterwards, hit home to watch the gaming tournament Civil War and caught the end of that and then hit back out for sushi at Shogun. Went a bit craycray but l havent been eating super well and ordered 5 rolls to myself(of course bringing some home). Matt set it up and had a really good dinner w a ton of friends. Laughing about a ton of different shit and enjoying sushi. Nothing crazy. It was just a really good way to end the weekend. W friends at an awesome sushi dinner. Didnt really do too much afterwards but just slept as my past week was sleep deprivation and random hours of sleep.
Monday hit Vicky's place and just pced back out to the Philadelphia Zoo. So we ran around and yooo the weather was SOOOOO GOOD for walking around the Zoo. It was a kinda hot day but had a breeze that was refreshing but not overpowering. The breeze is important. No breeze = too hot. Heavy breeze = cold and annoying. So yea... it was really good weather wise. Perfectly timed. It was actually a bit more cool than l expected for a Zoo lol. Seeing some variation of monkeys was the most interesting to watch as they really have no fear in heights and their mobility. It was cool to watch. Things like the Rhino was cool to see but it just stood there lol. Not fun to watch. But yea, having something to do in the nice weather was really nice. Thank you Allison for the pass lol. Vicky passed off pretending to be Allison even w photo ID and we got to do the Zoo and parking for free. Cheap social life lol. $90 saved is $90 saved.
Afterwards, we got burgers at Bobby's Burgers and stuffed face. Really good burgers and onion rings. Afterwards, got Gelato next door and it was really good and different. Cuddled and bummed it and got leg massages lol at Vicky's. l was just hurting. Thank you guu guu hehehehe. Very nice day w Vicky.
Afterwards, l hit up Karen's hotel and we smoked hookah and caught up on A LOT!! Our friends, her travels, work and everything else. Debating on different philosophies in life haha. My FOMA(fear of missing out) and Yomi, Okizeme, Game theory and Metagame in general. Blabbered my mouth off haha. Had drinks and food downstairs and more hookah. Chilled for about 5 hours and it was really good just to chill. Hit home and did some reading before sleeping.
Had the worst sleep tho, being too hot in my room and then the nightmares l had. Had SEVERAL nightmares last night and l kept waking up. Seriously, l think 4 or 5 nightmares. Woke up late for my class which l'll have to make up later on as l set my alarm for 7pm instead of 7am ughhhhhh.... But maybe this is a good thing. l wont be having a lot of time to study in the next few weeks and May will be more open(as of right now). Spent the day recovering. Eating and sleeping more and reading up on multiple things. My bookmarks are blowing up. l bookmark more things than l have time to read. l just get really curious about something end up reading about a topic for 30 mins to 2 hours. l hate wondering tho. Gonna play Street Fighter 4 online tonight first time in a while. Havent even had time to game outside of hitting up Eric's last week.
Life is still good. Just sore lol.
