Lemme nerd out for 2 mins here. lm fucking Ash Ketchum and you bitches are all just the first Gym Leader. l jumped back into Pokemon after being out of it since 2010 and look at me.... 2 weeks in and lm 49-10. You should see the charts l have. The preplanning on the team and the moves. It was A LOT of work. First beat the game, get pokemon l want, breed and level up, EV train and get the moves l need. Then a gameplan - the biggest thing. Its just like building a deck in Magic the Gathering or making your 3v3 team in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. Spent 80 some hours playing till l was 'battle ready' and l def came in fully prepared.
As always - l found something really dirty and really smart. Pretty much taking advantage of the current Metagame of what l noticed and abusing people's predictions. Gameplan pretty much is a team of Mixed Attackers. Mixed Attacker - Pokemon w a bunch of different type of moves so it can be 'super effective' and deal 2x or more damage to a wide range of pokemon. Pretty simple right? It is. So here's where my team gets more intelligent. People love Gengar and l do too. He was one of my favorites since Pokemon Red the 1st Pokemon game. People love giving him the item to go Mega Gengar and turn him into a beast. Thats what lm not doing but lm sure people are assuming so. Anyway... l gave him 3 attacks and Destiny Bond which takes out their Pokemon if Gengar gets knocked out by them. The Item l gave him was Focus Sash so he can survive OneHitKO's meaning a move that would take Gengar from 100% to 0% in a single hit. Mewtwo goes Mega Y increase special attack damage and speed and Yveltal has high powered up Dark moves so IF Mewtwo gets knocked out, he prob got knocked out by a Bug Ghost or Dark move cause you'll need to OneHitKO him. Yveltal is resistant to Ghost and Dark and neutral to Bug since its two types, one helps, other hurts so it goes neutral. Either way..... if you used a Bug or Ghost pokemon - your third Pokemon is dead as he's got a high powered Flying move for Bug, a high powered Dark move for Ghost. He is both types AND they deal 2x damage against those types that are good against Mewtwo AND Dark moves are even boosted more from his ability.
Simply put - if my Mewtwo SOMEHOW gets taken out - my Yveltal is set up to 'Revenge Kill' the guy who took him out.
Match starts - Gengar usually hits first cause l jacked up his speed. He does 50% or more damage to opponent's Pokemon. Opponent's Pokemon either gets KO'ed or survives and hits back and Gengar survives regardless because he cant get OneHitKO'ed. Gengar then finishes them off if he didnt already. Next Pokemon comes in. If Gengar is at full or good health - l attack again. If he's under 50% - l choose Destiny Bond and wait for their attack to take me out. Gengar gets KO'ed - Destiny Bond KO's their Pokemon. Gengar takes out 2 Pokemon by himself tho getting taken out himself. Now its Mega Mewtwo Y and Yveltal who covers Mewtwo vs their 1 Pokemon.
Also l gave Yveltal Sucker Punch. Not only does it do a lot of damage being a STAB move(Yveltal is Dark and the move is ALSO Dark so it's boosted by 50% damage) but it hits first if they picked an attack. So for Pokemon who are faster than Yveltal.... l dont care... if you attack, l hit first and Mewtwo prob almost killed you.
This is how my matches have been playing out. l wanna build 2 more teams w gameplans. Maybe another team w the Gengar start again cause Gengar alone is 1 or 2 Pokemon down and then a gameplan for a 2v1 so that regardless who lm up against, the plan is set to work. Pokemon A should take care of their last Pokemon but if it doesnt, Pokemon B is set up to finish off the weaknesses Pokemon A has. Its a good guarantee. We'll see. Its all about setting people up.
Pokemon Competitive Battling is VERY FUN. Its like Chess and Magic because its turn base but more so Magic the Gathering because it's not two fully balanced opponents and there are hidden factors - which moves, abilities, items, EV located, nature. This greatly changes how the Pokemon is used. So yea.... its a lot like Magic the Gathering. You'll see on the surface some info but you dont know the whole deal because - like in Magic where you cant see your opponents deck - you cant see the details of your opponents Pokemon.
Pokemon is a lot of fun when you understand how complicated it really is. All games are very fun when played at high level. You see how and appreciate great plays.

Thurs didnt have too much of a day. Woke up and suited up and did house showings w Dhruv and his family. Saw and re looked at some previous homes and had a good time w them. Nothing too crazy and from there pced out to Kutztown University to see the fraternity brothers.
Got there in the evening to the fraternity house and set up the hookah and went right into drinking lol. They freaking love my hookah and always make fun of me 'brother Zheng always brings his hookah and a handle of pinaccle whipped' but yo...... they ALWAYS have beer and for girls that dont drink beer, its something. They invited some girls over and stuff and we just spent the night smoking hookah, drinking and playing beer pong. Met some new people and had a really good night hanging out w the brothers currently in college. It was really nice seeing the house and the items that were up from the past. Banners, composites and the shield. Its just nostalgic. Kinda like driving by your old elementary school and seeing the playground you use to spend an hour on every mon-fri.
Passed out at 3am or so playing Pokemon lol.
Fri woke up and the guys were already asking if l could pack the hookah and give them rides to class lol. Drove some to class and then lit the hookah and smoked and killed a burrito for breakfast. Took more to class and played some Pokemon and smoked more hookah and had a full bummage day w the guys as brothers were in and out of the house just hanging out here and there. Playing Pokemon while chilling w the guys as some were playing other video games and junk. Pretty much the day consisted of eating smoking and video games lol. College life is nice.
In the afternoon friends started stopping by. EricM Jackson and MattC came through and it was good just having us all in one room. Felt like 07-09 lol. Lit the hookah and started drinking and catching up. Had a really good time w the guys and we also stopped by the AST house w some of the brothers. Got to see and catch up w a ton of the sisters and meet the new girls who got in within the past yr who l didnt meet or met at hayride a year ago.
Hit back to the house playing more beer pong and chilling and later on mad people started coming through. Turned into a good sized party for not having kegs and no actual real plan to be a party lol. Honestly a lot of girls came through to the point where girls left since they were just talking among themselves. Partied till late, met a ton of people and played a good amount of beer pong. Played beer pong w some girl and broke her 6 winstreak record by going 7-1. lm still awesome. Pretty much one big hang out day. Def enjoyed it mucho.
Sat woke up to the guys waking me up as pledges showed up to help clean the house and junk. Set up the house and it was looking nice b4 the rest of my alumni brothers came through. The guys were making eggs and we got a keg and had a fun morning hanging out, hitting the hookah, stuffing face w eggs and drinking. Didnt drink too much as l knew l'd be running around all day. Through the day more and more friends and brothers came through the house. Drinking and socializing all day and it was just really nice having so many of us back together. Doing the chant, taking a big group pic and caught up in general.
Hit up the Football game w Ian and his gf and met up w the new and old KU Dance Team. Ran in, caught up and watched the new team perform. Very nostalgic. Just seeing them dance infront of the crowd. Had a good time seeing them and lm glad l went as Meg and Bree wouldnt be around at night.
The day just kinda flowed into one big party and had to lay down a bit in the evening. Friends told me they attempted to lit the hookah without me but didnt fair so well lol. Continued to meet a ton of people, drink, run around the house, play beer pong and yea it was a good night. LaurenS Kait and Tonya came through and l havent seen those 3 together in forever including Ashlee. Good catching up w some of my old friends and also met Kait's younger sister who is a freshmen at KU and her friends. They reminded me of Lauren Kait Tonya and Ashlee.
We pced out to check out two parties and drove/ran around KU as if we were still in college here. Wont lie, there was several moments where l just mentally believed l was still in school cause my old habits were kicking in and l was behaving like l was 4-7 yrs younger lol. Oh well it was fun and all the alumni were getting into old habits. Maturity is a funny word. l feel most people stay the same after they are 17. Yea they gotta grow up somewhat but personality of just how you are in general remains.
After pcing out from a party we hit up Shorty's and caught up w a TON of alumni. Friends from different sororities, fraternities, sports team, dance team, cheerleaders and just friends in general. Drank, socialized and danced w a ton of different friends through the night. Danced w Lauren for the biggest part along w Felicia and ChristinaB. But it was really good partying w so many old friends. Some who l havent partied w since 09. God l feel old as fuck saying that. Anyway just had a really good time partying w so many people who l use to see every weekend. It was just really nice ya know? l love nostalgic shit. Ended the night getting Lauren's ride back lol.... someone got too drunk. Hung out w brothers and smoked hookah and eating my massive meatball parm from Mama's till late night. Stayed up w other brothers and alumni brothers till about 330am and knocked out as my car was blocked in lol.
Sunday woke up and chilled w the guys for a bit before heading back. Got home, cleaned up and right back out to nerd night. Lots of Magic the Gathering and Pokemon. Testing out decks, eating food and being douchy. Had a good time. Nothing too crazy. Just games and food really. Magic is getting arosihgaoirhg as its so well balanced that l cant decide on which deck l wanna use the most. RDW Aggro is dope when it plays out well but youre just kinda throwing it out there. Gruul and Mono Green Aggro overall seem to have more control over what is happening where red you're playing YOLO all day err day. Late night hit back home and more Pokemon lol and caught up on some work.
Mon worked w Allison on parallel parking. She was learning pretty fast actually. But maybe lm an awesome teacher. Took care of work and played some negotiations. Setting up my week and sending out listings. Not a HUGE work day but its monday. Spontaneously pre ordered Battlefield 4 and played Pokemon all night setting up my guys. Playing for 80 hours and not even battle ready yet lol. Got Battlefield at midnight and got it all working and shit by 3am cause of all this crap lol. But yo 64 players in a server. Its fun. Sniping is dope after you get a good spot far enough from the action to pick people off but close enough where your bullets arent taking 4 seconds to travel and missing all moving targets. But yea, was still playing Pokemon on the side training my Pokemon lol. Fun night!
Tues was pretty simple. Hit my office to take care of some work and also took my sister to school and junk. Was kinda just home on the phone w clients sending out listings and looking up stuff. Didnt really do much at all besides work from home and playing Battlefield 4 and Pokemon. Wrecking Japanese and US players alike. And they are serious players too. Why? How do l know? They have over 400+ eggs hatched. l hatched 37...... big difference. Just l have a really good grasp of the current metagame. Just on Free Battle tho. l'll have to learn the metagame w the Rating battles soon aka non legendaries. Besides that - yeaaaa just a lot of gaming.
Weds drove around w Allison for a while, getting her from work and running around. Just a lot of work on the phone w clients but really kept it a really low key day. Completely. Just straight up gaming after all my work was done. Nothing special about the day at all but l needed it and l liked it as l knew l had a crazy 3 days ahead.
Thurs had house showings at night and a lot of negotiations to work on. Pced out to JessH's to pregame along w Adam and Domkey. Met up w Lori Ryan Karen Ash David and Diamond. Had a fun pregame downstairs w people that lived in the complex and drank and smoked hookah. Met people and junk and just in general had a really good pregame.
Pced out from there and hit up Whisper Lounge for Halloween night. Vicky Lisa Minh and Ahjie met up w us and just had a great night going apeshit dancing. Friends everywhere came through and it was just a good night of dancing. Didnt drink too much as we were on the dance floor most the night. Ran around w friends, laughing at the 'make out corner' in the upstairs balcony as people were just going at it up there. Acting really immature and yooo costumes everywhere was making me laugh all night. Dance circles and junk and everyone just acting retarded. The caveman who jumped in the dance circle had me laughing hard.
Some drunk ass piece of shit was running and shoving people and started shit w someone and got kicked out by the bouncers. Karen posed for a pic during the struggle LOL. Had a lot of fun acting stupid w Vicky. She's more into partying lately hehehehehe lm getting to her. My influence is strong. Diamond and some of her friends all got in for free dressing up as Minions lol. Had a really good time cause l had a solid squadron and it was Halloween night. l love Halloween. Its just extra crazy because of the costumes. Thats why themed house parties in college were always more fun.
Fri woke up and picked up Allison from work and went to train to get her an ID for Sat night for Soundgarden Hall. Dropped her off at the train station and worked on my guestlist all day and l knew it'd be a bit rough as a ton of my friends were coming late because of the bboy jam on that same night. Later pced out to Adam's and he drove me and Domkey to Jeff's to pregame. Had a good time drinking and smoking hookah w everyone and met up w more friends. MikeF came through and David and Diamond also came to meet up w us.
So we hit up Blockley's as Adam was set w this event but it turned out being very wack. Its sad cause Blockley's can be a dope spot but they prob just didnt promote this event well at all. It was empty as shit. Got a beer and pced out. People were just bummed that we paid to get in for nothing. Lucky Mike was w us and we hit up his fraternity's party.
So got to the house and just started drinking and goofying around. l told Diamond to take some Grey Goose bottle behind her and fill it w water and we started getting people to do water shots. People played along and pretended it was really Grey Goose and more people kept going who started to play along as soon as they realized it was water. We kept it going for a while till someone said it was water lol. Met some people and saw some other younger bboys in Philly and had a really good time. Laughed as Adam did his FIRST kegstand... 4 seconds hahahhahaha ahhh it was entertaining. So we partied there till 2am and then bounced to Whisper Lounge again since that was open till 3am.
Hit up Whisper and met up w friends and just danced the last hour out. Got drinks and introduced friends to friends as much as l could. Always a good time and was pretty much just on the dance floor the whole time acting rowdy. Ended the night late as we had to drop off Asil first then Mike then we got Vicky then dropped off Domkey then back to Adam's then back home lol. Got home at 5am ish.
Sat me and Vicky woke up at 9am for no reason and forced ourselves to keep sleeping till 2pm. We didnt really do much but make fried rice, watch The Walking Dead and we napped more. We started getting ready to go out at 6pm and got changed into costume and hit up Jieun's along w Adam. Brown was already there and Jieun's roomate had people over to pregame too. Met up w Allison to get her bag and pick up salt and pepper wings from David's Mai Lai Wah. So we smoked hookah, ate food and drank and l just really enjoyed the chill time before going out as always. Its just really nice and peaceful. l LOVE PREGAME lol. Salt and pepper wings are so dope too lol. So pced out at 1015ish and hit up Soundgarden Hall for the event. Early l know but the line gets stupid long.
Got in and got drinks and checked out the dance floor which was already filled. People going ham and it was a Halloween Event so absurd costumes and junk everywhere. Jumped in some circles and showed off cause l felt like it lol. Got Vee's squadron in the VIP Bottle Service Area. Her Chun Li and Dan's Ryu costume were so on point and they won their costume contest in Baltimore. Drank w them for a bit and then ran back and Lisa and Minh came through and along w Brown Jiuen and Adam we hit up the dance floor. Just had fun going all EDM lol without the Molly, thanx but no thanx.
Had a really good time running around and later on met up w Long and got the numbered passes to find people for the costume contest. Gave 1 to Vee and Dan as a pair. One to Thuy as l saw her and she did her idea that won her a previous DNA costume contest years ago as a Barbie Figure that was in the box. Ali got a pass along w Lisa and then some other random people. Had fun being backstage and seeing the contestants and chilling and me and Vicky hit up to VIP to get a good view of the contest.
Friends performed and danced and more people came through as they were getting out a bboy jam not too far away. More time on the dance floor and had a good time bouncing around w glowsticks lol - Vicky loved it. We hit the 21+ area again to meet up w more friends and drink and chill. We were really beat by then. Daylight savings time hit so we had an extra hour to party. Posing for pics and catching up w old friends. It was just a really great Halloween event. Had a great time and ended it w food in Chinatown while seeing some friends. Me Vicky Adam Dan and Vee got food and stuffed faced b4 dropping off Vee and Dan and getting Allison her stuff. Hit back late night and didnt get to bed till 6am lol.
Sun me and Vicky just bummed it. Watching shows and making food. Really didnt do much that we planned. We were so beat from the past few days. Rita came over to smoke hookah as well and catch up which was really nice. She helped me start up my car as l accidently killed the car battery again having a light on for 2 days lol. Oops. Thank you Rita!!! We were trying to learn hookah tricks but weren't doing soo well lol. Vee always post vine videos of hookah tricks and tells me how much l suck for how much hookah l smoke lol. Afterwards took Vicky back home. So happy we got time together like that again this week. Hit back and been eating, writing, uploading and tagging pics like crazy. Gonna play some Pokemon now lol.
