Sup Guys, this June everyone wants to do everything.
My social life is returning to what it use to be and its fun. But l dunno if l’ll ever fully go back to how ridiculous it once was. I LIKE that other people make plans, l just gotta follow instructions and venmo whoever for whatever. Its so nice. Not planning. Not stressing bout the ‘maybes’ since they make the cost/ride/room or whatever else situations more difficult. Making sure everyones having a good time. Getting receipts, splitting costs of every little thing. Problem solving anything that comes up. All of that. Its nice not being the planner.
I use to love being the planner cause l knew, if l planned it, it would go right. But its really nice being on the other side. Just go, venmo and have fun.
Obviously, things didnt go perfectly smooth as there was multiple things on some weekends. So l sadly missed Bobby/Sara’s bbq and Albeana’s Pokemon Birthday. But here is a shiton of pics and shit from the past 3 weeks.
5/26 Thurs after chilling in the evening, it was PARTYYYY TIMEE!!!!!!11 YEEEEE MOTHERFUCKERRR lol. Vee was back home and we hit up the new Pace and Blossom in UCity. Congrats Kenny and David on the new spot. High ceilings feel great. So its a ‘friends and family event’ but l shouldve known better. Got Vee and got there at 10pm, met up w Solena and Chris and went in. So at first, it was a lot of friends and family. Got situated and the center table and o0o l felt so special lol. That center table is gonna be ‘The Table’ tho lol. It holds a good number of people and you can dance ontop of the seating backside area all around the L. Very important for having fun and for making the lounge look good. Ran around socializing and doing shots w everyone. I miss everyone. Im so lame now.
Really nice just running around and socialziing and then the heavy drinking started. So bottles of Azul, Ace and some other big thing. It looked like the word Ciroc but w more letters. It was wasted on me since l cant appreciate the finer things in life and solely only drank it to be cool, cause lm still corny. Dancing on fresh new furniture ahhh l love it. Danced a lot. Met a lot of new people who were friends of friends. Partied for a couple of hours till our main squad started to dip out. Vee was also pretty beat. Drove Vee back and then hit home to eat pizza and watch Supernatural w a lit hookah.
Friday got up and drove to Maryland. 4.5 hour drive, listening to AMC stock news the whole drive down. Its been a while since lve done a really long drive, esp solo. I thought it’d be daunting but it wasnt that bad at all. I think just having nothing but time to myself was nice.
Got to the air bnb as we were celebrating JackieL’s birthday. Happy Birthday Jackie!! Settled in my room and got drinks and the hookah lit. Hung out w everyone and Goof made steaks. Had a solid squad as it was Jackie, Goof and the Red Royals and other friends of Jackie’s. This group is really solidified and its nice seeing how close they are. They’re like Charmed or something like that, but there’s more of them.. And they dance. And asian. None of them are witches. Its actually nothing like Charmed.
Anyway, hit a walk and then back to the air bnb for games. Played a lot of Smash Bros Ultimate and then played the viet gambling game and then learned Spot It. So like, they were flipping out and its easy to get but w 8 things on each card to match w the card thats down, its a lot. I found it easier to focus on 3 things on my card and just look out for that. Later on, Goof made crabs that were banging. We were eating really good.
Later on played Black Jack Truth or Dare that was fun since we got the fun of 2 games in one. Nothing crazy as everyone there was just really nice lol. Alice suggested this drinking game Paranoia which is actually a really cool interesting game of simply telling secrets and needing to drink or out drink someone to find out what was said about them. But you could get baited and it could be about nothing. Still curious what Alice said to Amanda bout me. Im sure its bullshit but l hate wondering.
Late night, Jackie said she was going to bed soon but ended up staying up late w a few of us. Somehow turned into a mega late night hip hop dance party but yo l was loving it. Dancing on shit is fun. Stayed up till about 5am ish w Alicia talking bout music, dance, gaming and our siblings. Usually the LATE night talk always ends in the same 3 topics.

It was cool to get to know Alicia as l never really got to know her as well as the others over the past few years.
Sat got up around 12pm to chill. The girls were doing dances and we played the Charades game on the phone for a while. Had a lot of fun as Aria and Alice were on my team. I wanted to take it easy in the afternoon but ended up getting drinks again for the night. Kept up w the AMC news and took a lil nap.
Got up later and it was bbq time. Goof grilled us mad food and yoo, l kept eating tho l was full because of how good it was. But also had to save some room for the cheesecake that Amanda got. The cheesecakes were both really solid too and l felt mad fat. Random note, Teanna plays w her food lol.
We took pics outside and downstairs and also got to use to hot tub for a while. Drinking Mike’s Hard Lemonade cause the taste of tequila from all thurs and fri was killing me. More Smash bros and had to go after G mostly since he really plays. Next on my hit list was Teanna since l could tell she knows how to play well too. She got the other girls all playing Kirby too, showing them how to do different taunts. The ganging up was real.
Alice suggesting more great games again suggested this wrestling like game where there is an outside circle w each person paired w an inside circle person who they fight towards the center to touch the center person’s head. So we removed the carpet to avoid carpet burn. The floor was seriously the same floor at my house. Really slippery. So it was all bout locking people down, throwing legs and getting out of the starting position. A lot of us really got hurt lol. Alice banged her ankle and l was seriously worried for a second for how much pain she looked like she was in. Ariel got one of her fingers really bent up. Alicia left heel kicked my left nut. And Alicia also got kicked in the same way too by Jackie lol. On Sunday, l found more bruises and realized 2 of my fingers had cuts from being dragged across the floor. Good games everyone! The only good thing is Jackie was laughing really hard so atleast there’s that.
More Blacjack truth or dare where half the group ended up wall twerking or giving someone a lapdance lol. Some good Truths though. Nothing too dark. Just seriously jw questions about each other. Ended the night playing Kings till 6am. Laughed a lot before passing out around 7am.
Sunday got up and said bye to everyone. Thanks for having me guys!! Got gas and hit the road to Bounme’s bbq. Got there and caught up w SteveC and also finally got to meet White Rob lol. I played games w Rob before w the rest of the Scumbag Squad but it was good to meet him in person finally. There was actually a lot of that at the bbq of people who’ve played games together but never met in real life. This happens all the time but l still think its cool that people can become friends w their friend’s friends through gaming and then weeks, months or even years later, meet in person but it wouldnt feel like the ‘first time meeting’ since they know each other so well by then. Kinda like my COD Squad. A lot of them slowly got to know each other over time where l dont need to be the center for them to feel comfortable to hang out w each other. I was more just the introduction.
So it was a bit of a mini Scumbag Squad reunion. Not everyone but a good number of us got to be there. We were talking bout old house parties throughout the bbq. Talking bout Bounme’s old epic house parties and then just crazy shit that happened in the past. Henry was showing us magic and l had no idea he did magic. SteveC was making everyone laugh as usual. Just had a really solid time w everyone. Smoking hookah, drinking soda cause l was done w alc. Though l ended up doing several shots. Met some new people as it was more a close knit bbq than Bounme’s usual bbqs. Not even a facebook event page this time. But actually, it was kinda nice having it a bit smaller and close. Food was banging of course w King Bounme cooking. Some of us were trying to convince others to join us for Magfest in half a year from now. Had a really good time just chilling w everyone.
Got back late and before l got home, l got more Mexican Pizzas and some tacos from Taco Bell. Ended the night just eating and watching youtube like a fatass. So much driving, socializing, drinking since thurs. I deserved to just be fat.
5/30 Monday Memorial Day got up late. Didnt set any alarms and it felt great. Got a pizza and then Vee came through. Invited a lot of the OG squad to spend time w us since Vee would be flying back the next day. RyanW, Brown, Hack, AdamW all made it over. Jeremiah joined too and we just hung out downstairs, talking bout all sorts of shit for a few hours. Tossed on Kpop in the back. Good to see Hack leave his house too. I still gotta figure out another night for a squad dinner. So many squads to spend time w lol. But this group has been w me since as early as high school days. Ryan since 8th grade and Brown since 2nd grade. Crazy how we gotta plan so hard to get together but lm glad we still make it work.
Later on, got on COD and Peter wanted 10 birthday wins. We actually got him 9 wins but it was 2am and he said he couldnt do another game lol. Got it w Steve Kenny Peter and Dmoe. Ended the night watching some Supernatural.
Tues got up late again. Felt great. Booking homes and sending Seller’s Disclosures to clients. Answering questions and taking care of adult life shit. Eating left over pizza and hit up AndyD aka Citi for some Street Fighter Matches. Just been trying to hit up friends more often for First to 5’s for Street Fighter practice. Andy beat my ass w his E.Honda, Sakura and Menat. I knew his Menat would be the roughest since l think that’s his best character AND because its a bad match up against Luke. Had fun getting my ass beat and saved the fights in 15 min clips to study later. Thank you Andy for the matches homie. Great to play with him as always and hopefully l’ll get to chill w him soon enough as that guy is always great to chill and talk w.
By chance right after, Ricky invited me for matches since l asked him when he posted he’d be streaming. Beat Ricky’s Zangief 5-3 and then lost to him 5-1. I was surprised. He doesnt throw out charged HP as much which is good and its also good he’ll call out vshifts now. Happy for his improvements. Will def help me against the match up as well.
Next up, got on COD w Peter Kenny and Gary and we got some wins on Rebirth. Havent kept up w the meta as much as l use to. I dont take COD Warzone as serious as l use to and its kinda nice. I think its cause the number of viable guns now is much better than what it use to be so keeping up w the meta isnt as important.
Speaking up keeping up w metas. I kinda wanna get back into Magic the Gathering but yoo, right now, my time literally cant fit something else in w the commitment level of MTG right now. And then what if l get a girlfriend or something soon? Id be screwed lol. I dunno, l miss Magic but theres soooo much stuff to work on that isnt work related already. Then theres so many shows l need to catch up on. Its ridiculous.
After COD, started the new season of Stranger Things. I hate everyones haircut on that show l swear. I think thats the other thing that annoys me w that show. Worked on editing gaming clips. Getting mad lazy, kinda just throwing them together and gonna post them on youtube for my storage of looking back on.
Weds hit house showings w Esteban and Chelsey and saw 2 properties not too far away. My car was just mangled from the weather, bird shit and stuff so l got a quick car wash and got some groceries. RyanW came over and l made baked potatoes but in the sliced whatever way. I liked it but l think lm gonna stick to the classic way of doing it. It was like more work for not really much benefit. We watched Kenobi and yo lm loving it. So much Marvel and Star Wars since Disney+ just took it and ran w it.
Later on just bummed, watching Street Fighter V videos and staying up really late. Fucking up my sleep sced. Watched Stranger Things into thursday.
Thurs got up for my oil change and car inspection. Of course there’s something up and l ended up spending a little over $600. Esteban picked me up from my house while my car was at the Honda Dealer and we checked out some homes during the day.
Got my car and got home and played some Street Fighter V w friends. Played BobbyG’s Cammy and Seth for a while. Then was playing Ranked matches and ended up playing VictorT and he messaged me and we did some sets too against his Cammy. Got to record all the matches so l can study later.
Got on COD Warzone and we got 5 wins. Later on at night, Street Fighter 6 reveal trailer. So much info dropping nonstop. They’re doing a good job on keeping it hype and having people talk about it. It potentially could be the best Street Fighter game yet looking at it. The mechanics seems fun and fair. I just think lights and throws will be more powerful as they seem to stop a lot of the defensive mechanics if they are like how they were in the past. We’ll see.
Friday RyanW came through so we could start season 3 of The Boys. This show is so ridiculous but its like crack. Watched Ep 1 and 2 and then worked on an offer. Got on COD Warzone and got 3 wins w the guys and then played Street Fighter V for a while. Ended the night watching this movie The Gentlemen which was really good. Ended up passing out early sat morning.
Sat got up late and hit Matt Chua’s birthday. Hype to see old friends and Happy Birthday Matt!!!! So first great to finally meet his girlfriend Andrea finally. Got to hang w RichL and MattH and also meet MattH’s family. Met a lot of new people, lit the hookah, got drinks and mad food and just had a chill night talking bout old college days. So l thought I’d be there for 3-4 hours but ended up hanging out way later and we all ended up staying till 2am. Since Covid, l havent gotten to see these guys for 3 years. Im gonna figure out something sooner to all hang again. It does suck, growing up and needing to plan ahead so hard to spend time w everyone but atleast we still do get to do it ya know? Had a great time w everyone and didnt get home till like 3am or so. Played some Street Fighter V before going to bed at 6am.
Sunday got up late and missed Bobby’s bbq. I totally slept through my alarms to go. The guys were over playing D&D at my house and l hung out w them for a bit, smoking hookah and making bad nerd jokes. Made burgers and played some Street Fighter V and then RyanW came over to watch The Boys. Just catching up on shows as we got so much to watch. Its good tho to stay up to date. Very important lol. Good hanging w Ryan as always and then afterwards just played some Street Fighter V and chilled w Jeremiah till really late.
6/6 Monday still up hanging w Jeremiah cause lm irresponsible. Slept midday and got up in the afternoon to bum and played COD w the guys. Got 3 wins as usual and then watched some Supernatural. Really short kinda day. Ended the night played Street Fighter V late night again. Trying to get my Luke to Super Diamond. At 19,000 League Points and its 20,000 to get there so lm pretty close. I just always play Rematch, regardless how badly l just lost. I know l could get to Super Diamond by simply not rematching anyone that slaughtered me who lm just gonna lose more points to but as much as I wanna hit Super Diamond, l care about improving more. Getting your ass beat is the fastest way to learn to some point. If you get slaughtered SOOO bad when youre new to the game. You dont even understand whats going on to even level up. But when you get the game, getting slaughtered opens up new ideas. If anything, you see new stuff to defend against.
Tues still up from playing Street Fighter V, l caught up to Stranger Things and then finally went to sleep. Got up later for Dumpling Sessions and just played some Street Fighter V, lit the hookah and chilled all night. Some of the guys were playing King of Fighters and had a good time chilling till 2am. Afterwards, more Street Fighter V ranked all night and then some youtube w Jeremiah into weds lol.
Weds was still up all day, trying to fix my sleep sced. Watching documentaries and doing some real estate work. Got on Street Fighter V for some Ranked matches and later Jeremiah got home. We watched some Supernatural till RyanW came through. Made spaghetti and meatballs since l was craving it and watched Ms Marvel and Kenobi. Disney+ knows how to keep it steady. Smoked hookah and watched some youtube afterwards. Just a really chill day and finally knocked out really hard after Ryan headed out.
Thurs got up in the afternoon. Fuck. Sleep sced still fucked. Did work and watched some youtube w Jeremiah for a lil till l got more sleepy. Was up for 30 some hours the day before so l napped. Sleep sced even more fucked. Got up later to get on COD w the guys. Me Johnny Kenny and Peter were going for the Specialist easter egg a lot. We were doing really well. Got 6 wins. Mad fun throwing snapshot grenades all the time before pushing a team. Ended the night watching a lot of Supernatural. Almost getting close to done as we’re on season 13 of 15.
Friday got up and hit NYC. Got my sister, Vince, Kathleen and Andrew and we hit costco for stuff for the lakehouse. I chilled in the car w the 3 dogs lol. Hit the lakehouse and started off eating. Nick was our chef for korean bbq cause he’s korean and the only one qualified to do it. Good work as always Nick. Had drinks, lit the hookah and settled in. Started playing Blackjack for drinks. Start off w 10 chips. If you run out, you get 10 more but gotta do a shot. If you’re up, you can trade in 10 chips to give out a shot. It was a good pace as l let people bet 1-3 chips and so the shots weren’t nonstop but they weren’t coming up too slow either. Teaching Allison a lot but yo… she was hitting at like 15 16 and getting to 20 21 a lot. So l had a few hundred in $1s incase they wanted to play in cash but l got lucky they didnt cause they were doing well as a group. Also met Vincente’s girlfriend Michelle who was really cool and outgoing and fit well into the group quickly.
We hit downstairs and started to play Rage Cage and yo, we been playing this game mad serious for years now and its crazy how well the flow is. The bounce, cage, pass, bounce, pass back, bounce, cage. The flow is just really smooth. Esp Nick and Terrance. It was good to have them both 2 away from me as there was a lot of funny caging. Played some beer pong and we partied all night downstairs. Ended the night w mad food before passing out.
Sat l slept late. Came out to chill out back w everyone for a while. We just bummed the day away. It was nice. Hookah, drinks, laying out, 3 dogs chilling. It was really nice. Started the firepit as it got cold and stuffed face before playing games. Smoked hookah and went over hookah tricks for a while w Allison Kathleen and Andrew. Got really light headed lol. They were getting the tornado down pretty quickly. Kathleen was really trying to French Inhale but it was funny as it was only going up one nostril since her nose was stuffy lol.
Played a game of guessing the word someone’s holding up but the second round you can only say one word and then last round you can only act it out so you gotta memorize what the cards were in previous games. Def interesting since tho it gets harder, you remember the cards for previous rounds. Played a lot of beer pong. Went 2-1 w my sister. Xi’s new best friend was Kiwi as he held her all night lol. More Rage Cage and massive caging. I felt cursed as l was making the bitch cup full of beer and Jameson and somehow, our safe spot got hit as people were making the ridiculously high tower and the cups kept coming closer to me even tho it was only one cup away. I got hit and had to chug that terribleness.
Worked on more hookah tricks at the little bar on the side for a while and also played some Vietcong lol. So many bong balls. Eisenhower says Nuke them!!!!!1111 Me and Allison are dumb lol. Played games way later than l expected and even tho everyone was pretty dead in the evening, we lasted past 4am again. Ended the night w mad food again and hanging till everyone passed out. Def had a really good weekend but sad how quickly the weekend went. Thank you Cliff as always for having us.
Sunday drove back and my car people got stuff for their homes from Costco. Swung by Allison’s to check it out all furnished now. She’s always been good managing her space. She’s an ideal minimalist. It’s clean. Hit home and just bummed. Took a hot shower cause l didnt shower all weekend w the hot water being out at the lakehouse. Straight up did nothing. It was great. Started the show Love Death and Robots and lm really liking it.
6/13 Monday l slept all day. I was so dead. Got up being irresponsible, playing COD w Johnny Steve and Peter and got 5 wins doing the Specialist Keycard a lot. Def mad fun and then later on got 2 more wins w dmoe fugtteboutit and Vince.
More gaming cause thats what Monday is for. Played some Street Fighter V ranked and almost got to Super Diamond. Played late and watched youtube and smoked hookah w Jeremiah till 5am lol. Good start to the week!!
Tues got up for house showingw Estaban and Chelsey. Checked out a couple of spots that had some potential. Got home to bum and smoke for a lil. Then back out for more house showings w Harvey and Sandy. Checking out some spots. First time seeing them in a while. Got home and cooked rice and bulgogi and yoo… dumpling sauce and rice seasoning. Soo fucking good.
So me and the guys went hardcore. Me Vince and Dmoe along w a rotating 4th Steve, Gary, Joon. We got 13 damn wins in a single night going for Specialist keycard. It was fucking crazy. So we played 830pm-230am cause we wanted to hit 13 wins so break the record for most Rebirth Island wins in a night for my personal record. Easily clearing Vince and Dmoe’s record as well. 13 wins, 7 losses. It was insane. Had mad fun. Afterwards, just mad Supernatural till 630am.
Weds got up and hit house showings w Harvey and Sandy again. Saw an open house that was really nice but dude… some mom’s really have no life. You should see this baby room. I swear, some people care more about what their friends will think of the baby room than anything else. Just so fake and cringy.
Hit home to do work for a while and then RyanW came through. Made more rice+bulgogi and sauced it up. Ryan destroys food so fast lol. Thanks for the Thor ticket Ryan. So we watched Ms Marvel and Kenobi and then some Screencrush on the episodes. We got so many shows, so many screencrush as screencrush def likes the shows we like lol. Hung out for a while and then ended the night w youtube. Catching up w the ‘w friends’ playlist.
Thurs l slept all day. Life is rough. Got up to do work for a while and then later on chilled w Brown and Jeremiah watching the Netflix Documentary Our Father which is pretty crazy. Hopped on COD w the guys for just 2 hours… quick 5 wins lol. We’re so use to winning now, its getting nuts. Slowly ended the night w a lot of Street Fighter V ranked and then youtube w Jeremiah.
Friday got up early for house showings w Sandy. Checked out some new spots and then played some Street Fighter V after getting home. Smoked hookah w Jeremiah and some of the Dumpling Sessions Squad came through to play D&D. Hung out for a lil before hitting NYC.
Got to my sister’s new place and mad people came through. First shots, hookah and socializing in the new spot. Then outback, just chilling and beer pong. Got to see a lot of friends and its crazy how big this group really is. Got to see a lot of people l met a few months ago from Vince’s birthday. Hit back inside and ended up talking bout gaming w some dudes for a while. Elden Ring and Street Fighter. More hookah and shots and hanging out late. Just a really social night. Very happy for my sister’s new place along w Carolyn and Sara. Had a group shot of Lakehouse Squad lol. Telling and showing Andrew Omeo and Kathleen the blog lol. Andrew was talking bout Indo Ramen w egg, which everyone loves and then l just ended up making some. But then it seemed people were hungry and since l was in a system, l just kept making more and more for people. Indo ramen and fried egg. Made 8 bowls, dished them out and then hung out late.
Ended the night giving friends a ride back and then hitting home. Caught up on all the things l saved on my Watch Later for youtube since lve been on the road so damn much. Listened to various artists on Pokemon Gym Leader and Trainer battle music. The classics. Its kinda crazy how old this music is but the general melody is so damn good. Then these remixes making it even better w their own twists.
Got home at 5am something and watched Supernatural w Jeremiah while eating dumplings and smoking hookah.

Seriously over the last few years, my appreciation for southeast asian food really has grown. Just like everything you order is good ya know? Thai, Malaysian and Viet food is all seriously really solid. Oh yea congrats to MattK and Amy on the new food truck Thai It Up. Im hype to try it. Tho l know Amy’s cooking is amazing lol. Im very happy for them. Ok back to dinner, dinner was chill, food was solid, talking a ton of bullshit and had a good time chilling w everyone. Was gonna head out for drinks w everyone but l was so dead from lack of sleep the last few days and all the driving, l just hit back to sleep. Got up later to play a bit of Street Fighter V and hit Super Diamond w Luke finally. Watched some Love Death Robots w Jeremiah before sleeping more.
Sunday got up for house showings w Sandy and saw one w potential. Hit back home and got groceries and just ate left overs while watching Animal on Netflix. 6/20 Monday got up at 4am. Baked potatoes, did real estate work and did some cod video editing.
