BUT IT FEELS SOO GOOD. So like l got into sports betting after winning that money from the Superbowl and slowly making it grow. Now past $2k profits and yoo... l came close to losing it all on yolo plays. But JESUS IS MAH FRIEND. He gives me luck and great parking spots.
Anyway, l've always like gambling in moderation cause lm too poor to have a gambling problem. Well now l have a gambling problem. Oops.
KK past few weeks.
2/16 Weds got up at a reasonable time. Got a lot of stuff done. Just real estate classes online, paying for my floors, getting claims from statefarm, tax papers, figuring out how to toss the old tv… just like a lot of stuff.. Its crazy how much stuff l need to take care of that isnt work.
Picked up Paula and hung out, watching whatever, smoking hookah. Ryan Titus Moses all came through too. Ordered chinese food, did mad sports betting and got past $700. We watched Looper, finished Book of Boba Fett, Get Smart then ended w Disturbia lol. A lot of media. Just a mad chill night.
Ended the night getting work done late night and watching the movie Glass on the side.
Thurs got up doing calls w a referral from JackyT and the new buyer agent l set them up w. Back to sleep for a bit and then back up to chill downstairs. Watched Rush Hour 3 w Paula before taking her back. Got Popeyes and hit Amy and Emily’s office to meet up, talk real estate and thought ld be there for an hour or two. We ended up hanging out for 5 hours. Hookah, tequila, chicken, talking bout anime to long term capital gains, back to real estate, to the philly party scene lol. I had a lot of fun.
Afterwards, hit poker at Zack/Marisa’s and had fun yolo betting cause l didnt care cause lm up $761 in 4 days of sports betting on fanduel. Its crazy. I JUST STARTED… GOT REALLY LUCKY TWICE from basketball and now basketball season is coming to a close. Boo… But still. $290 from Superbowl. Accidently bet on the overscore or whatever it is, then got lucky on weds bet as a 3 point shot literally made me over $400 cause l was betting on the unfavored team and did an overscore bet as well. Simply just put 3 $15 bets on overscores on 3 different basketball games cause l couldnt pay attention to it and all 3 won me $13ish lol. Dunno why SO MANY basketball games always hit that ‘overscore’ whatever it is, l dunno what its called. But l keep betting on it and it keeps hitting. I also lost money cause l bet the ‘underscore’.
Anyway, fun times gambling and hanging w everyone. Nothing too crazy. Just a chill night. Hit back home and ate more Popeyes and watching Curb your Enthusiasm before passing out at 4am. Slept really well.
Friday got up fresh at 12pm. I LOVE SLEEPING W NO ALARMS. Solid 8 hours of sleep. Perfection. Eating Popeyes and catching up on my AMC/BB news. Watched Capcom Pro Tour Finals Day 1 while taking care of small work for clients. Really chill night. Did some more work at night. Ate like a child while watching Curb Your Enthusiasm and ended the night w a lot of Street Fighter V. Def a chill night.
Sat got up late and chilled w Jeremiah for a bit downstairs. Headed out to Chris/Solena’s to chill w everyone. Eat a ton, play games w the kids and also to give them their presents l’ve had since Christmas lol. I love those kids. There was mad food and enjoyed nearly a bit of everything. Ripped tequila shots and friends sang karaoke. Good spending time w Vee as always since she’s here for a little longer. Congrats again Solena and Chris on getting engaged!! Got fat and was food coma’d for a bit till one of the kids hit me in the gut w a ball or something while l was half outta it lol.
Got home late and played some Street Fighter V, not too good honestly. Smoked hookah w Jeremiah and watched youtube into Sunday morning at 730am lol.
Sunday got up late. Did work for a little and then headed out to get mad groceries. Mad fat boy shit. Cheesecake, icecream, pudding, pound cake. Made pasta and creamed spinach and it wasnt bad for mostly yoloing it tho l def made too much sauce.
Chilled and watched Capcom Pro Tour and the NBA Allstars game. Kelly actually ended up betting on it too. Cool to have someone on the same side w me to talk w during the game. I really think betting(within means) is really fun. You can get hype over anything if you’re betting lol. I know that sounds bad but when youre invested financially in something, you care. Won all my bets besides the $10 on Lebron being mvp. Won another $245 total by betting on Lebron’s team and that Curry and Lebron would each make 20 points. Also won the Over score whatever its called bet. Up to $906 in 8 days of sports betting(5 days l bet on). It’s been a fun run but now basketball season is over. Dunno if l’ll bet on other things or just chill till lm at someone’s house when a UFC fight is on. Cool seeing the Capcom Pro Tour for Street Fighter V. Seeing some friends, Smug and RobTV on there and really happy for how long they’ve come in Street Fighter. At the end, Street Fighter 6. A trailer of Luke and Ryu. Def happy since, l knew Luke would be in Street Fighter 6 but lm really liking him in Street Fighter V right now and lm glad l already have a set character but who knows if l’ll switch because they’ll be so many to pick from.
Chilled w Jeremiah, playing Street Fighter V all night and watching youtube and smoking hookah. Ended the night around 6am lol.
2/21 Monday got up and met up w Amy Emily Paula Newlan and Dara. We were in the mood for oysters as lm always down for oysters. Hit Twisted Tails for oysters along w other food and we stuffed face. Dinner was really good and the happy hour special is really solid. Afterwards, did drinks hookah and games in their office. Had a lot of laughs and it was funny just partying in an office. Def the right size for the group. Playing Piccolo and other games all night. Stayed out way later than expected again w this squad.
Got home late and ate while watching Curb your Enthusiasm. I couldnt sleep so l stayed up all night w youtube.
Tues got up and was craving dairy. Cheesecake, pudding, icecream, pound cake all together for lunch. Was really good but yoo l got really sick. Watched Southpark and did work through the day. Working on a lot of small things like a group dinner, my statefarm insurance returns and later on got on Street Fighter V and then COD w the guys. Got 1 battle royale win and 1 rebirth win and yoo… Caldera really just sucks. Its just so boring compared to Verdansk. A big reason why we do rebirth much more. More Street Fighter V afterwards and later on Plural and Brando came through to chill and play the new King of Fighters. Was up for about 35 hours till l went to sleep.
Weds the Samsung TV guy came to fix the tv and worked w him all morning for that. Was feeling so tired and sick. Slept all day and got up as AdamW came through as we were doing a group kpot dinner but yoo l was too sick still from my dairy binge and had to bail. Just bullshitted the night away and slept more.
Thurs got up at 4am and just chilled till 8am. Getting shit done on the PC. Slept more and got up at 5pm and was finally feeling a little better. Got Buffalo Wild Wings and chilled w Jeremiah for a while. Got on COD w the guys and got another 6 wins on Rebirth Island.
THEN AT MIDNIGHT
ELDEN RING
So l am a massive FromSoftware fan. Been playing since Dark Souls 2. I LOVE the invading aspect. The high difficulty. Constantly thinking, not some easy mode run through game to make you feel good like Destiny(l hate Destiny). Played Elden Ring from midnight till 630am lol. LOVING IT.
Friday got up at 2pm and got on Elden Ring. On w Peter and Gary helping them through their worlds. Was on all day. SOOO MUCH in this game compared to Dark Souls games. Its cause its open world but still has dungeons where Dark Souls just had several levels and once you beat it, you beat it. Had youtube on the side all day and kinda just kept playing all night.
Sat got up at hit a zoom meeting w Amy and Emily. Working on our little project and l really like how they think. They’re very motivated. Its exciting to work on something new again. I guess w nightlife being on hold for me, l miss having that project ya know?
Afterwards, just Elden Ring obsessively all night into Sunday.
Sunday l couldnt stop. This shit is crack cocaine. Played till 3pm w Gary Brad and Peter. Going a strength build as thats the route w the most fun options for me usually. But now l may switch it up to a Blood Loss build. We’ll see. Enjoying the game a lot. Invading just kinda sucks cause its always 2v1 or 3v1… me being the 1 so l cant practice normal pvp. Im just gonna 1v1 more when my friends get invaded lol.
2/28 Monday got up at 3am. Started w Elden Ring till 10am. 10am is the appropriate time where calls are fair. I feel before 10am is too early and after 10am, they should be picking up. Just took it easy all day. Having Street Fighter V and world news on while doing work. More Elden Ring in the evening and slept early.
Tues got up early for the dentist. Adjusting the things on my teeth for my new invisalign trays. Got mad food from Mkee cause its amazing and then hit home to do work in the evening. God l love Mkee so much. Played Elden Ring all night. Brando and Plural came to chill too. Doing Fightclubs w the guys and had fun fighting and watching fights. Ended the night doing mad invasions.
Weds got up early and leveled up weapons like crazy from farming. Doing mad invasions and and then later on had a zoom team meeting w my real estate team. Cooked potatoes while in meeting and then afterwards, RyanW came through to eat and chill. Watching documentaries on netflix about drug dealing. Always interesting. Hung out pretty late and then later had a zoom meeting w Amy and Emily on our project. Mad chill time always brainstorming w them. Very exciting as always to be working on something new. Ended the night w more Elden Ring lol.
Thurs got up and hit Mary’s to pick stuff up, got my haircut in Chinatown and dropped stuff off for Madz. Hit home and chilled for a lil only to go right back out. Hit the movies and met up w Ryan Ronnie Gunnar and other friends to see The Batman. It was really good but its hard to say if its the ‘best Batman’ movie ever. Being a long movie, things didnt seem rushed w all the characters they had in it. Robert Patterson also did really well. The casting in general was really good.
Got home to lose all my money in sports betting in basketball. Just wild how anything can happen. Ughhh lol. Won $906 and then lost it all. This shit is so damn addicting. Still… went back in with more money. Then back up $179 lol. Played Elden Ring to end the night.
Friday just had a real simple night. Just did work in the evening. More homes are slowly coming onto the market again and then later on just did Elden Ring all night. This is also crack cocaine levels of addiction. Not that l know what crack cocaine is like but lm pretty sure l face the same struggles as crackheads. Ended the night watching Ozark w Jeremiah.
Sat ChrisH came through. He mailed some stuff over by accident and it was time for a visit anyway. We hit Philly as Bounme and Clairesse were visiting us. Met up w the Dumpling Sessions Squad and we got pho. SteveC even joined us too. A lot of friends l dont get to see often. Pho was banging as always being my #1 fav food. Viet food in general is always solid. The rice plates, the spring rolls. Anything w pork lol.
Afterwards hit Ngoc/Alex’s for drinks, hookah and games. We did a lot of gambling. Doing the viet gambling game. I brought my nice pad and won $75 since l let people bet high when l was dealer since l brought $180 in $1s lol. Had mad fun gambling. They were saying I’d instantly win Bad Apples if l played but l didnt lol. Just a long night w everyone and glad to take it easy w everyone. Funny how ChrisH happened to just visit and always glad when SteveC comes through. He’s always good for making everyone laugh all night. Chilled late and hit back afterwards to play Elden Ring and talk gaming w Jeremiah and Chris.
Sunday got up and me and ChrisH left to Kyuramen w everyone for Plural’s birthday dinner. Had a great dinner w everyone and glad it was more reason for ChrisH to see everyone. I miss him being around w us all the time. As degenerate as we were lol. Good seeing Bounme and Clairesse a bit more too on their visit to Philly. Happy Birthday Matt!!!!
HIt back and played against ChrisH in Street Fighter V most the night against his Sagat. Had fun matches and ahh l miss him living w me. He’s just a really good person to theory fight w ya know? Bummed all night and played some Elden Ring pretty late.
3/7 Monday got up and hit a showing w Ryan. Saw a property that made a lot of sense and very hopeful we can work things out. Afterwards, got some Rita’s waterice for lunch cause lm an adult and hit home to do work for Ryan and other clients.
Played Elden Ring for a lil in the afternoon and got on COD w the guys. Got 2 Rebirth wins and it was a while since l played COD last. Mostly playing to just play w the guys in general. More Elden Ring at night. Just leveling up stuff, invading and taking care of other boss fights that were a bit too hard earlier as l got to them too quickly. Ended the night w Jeremiah finishing up Ozark season 4 which god damn…. This show.
Tues got up and smoked w Jeremiah for a lil before starting work. Did work all evening until people came over for Dumpling Sessions. Thank you Amy for the spring rolls!! Playing against Sam’s Kage and Ken and smoking hookah all night lol. So bad. Hit upstairs for zoom meeting w Amy and Emily again. Google docs is so great lol. Great meeting w them as always. Hit downstairs back for Dumpling Sessions. Won $775 in bball cause l make wild decisions lol. This game’s overall score average kept dropping…. So l did some nutty bets on the overscore since it got so low and got it. Yayyy lol. Im so fucking addicted. Elden Ring, sports betting, nicotine, sugar. This is why l dont try drugs lol. I WOULD BE THAT GUY. Hung w Jeremiah late and went to bed around 4am.
Weds got up and did work for clients. Friends wanting to make moves and helping friends just looking to rent a room from other friends who have rooms for rent. Played a lil Elden Ring and then started to cook. Made Red Lobster biscuits from this package they had and yooo its seriously the exact same. Its so good. The box is like $10 to make 4 batches. Made stuffed shells too, lit the hookah and Ryan came over as we watched Screencrush things we mightve missed in The Batman and the Obi trailer. Watched some Southpark and did some sports betting. Hedging and re-hedging my bets and then w a lil luck, even other bets that were suppose to lose, ended up winning so made $825 yayyy!! Gonna take it easy and test my betting strategy out some more. Im very happy w the profits though. Ended the night w a bit more Elden Ring as Jeremiah and Titus had The Suicide Squad on.
Thurs got up and did work for friends till 4pm. Setting up house showings and sending over spds. Watched a bit of youtube w Jeremiah downstairs w the hookah and then got a shower before heading out.
Hit David and Hang Taing’s place. Hanging w the kids, eating amazing food and just spending time w a lot of chill friends. Thanks Vee for the invite as always. Its crazy how long ago she moved out of PA but we really remained close. She’s always got my back. Did mad tequila shots cause thats whats popular now and it kills me. Had some soju that l brought cause lm a bitch and l cant take people’s opinion on me for the amount of tequila required of me to keep doing that. However, we played Poker and jeez l got killed. The blinds going up so quickly just forced you in bad positions, play now or lose half your chips to the blind and even if you win your next hand, youre back to where you were when you were big blind. Somehow l managed to get 2nd place in the second tournament which put me back into an ok position. I knew gambling w older asian guys, esp some who are like pro level was a bad idea. But the 2nd place split for the 2nd game helped me out a lot, living until everyone knocked each other out and l just survived the blinds to get by lol. Thank you guys for having me as always. The kids are so fun and yoooo l really love kids but allllll my friends say ‘wait till youre w them 24/7’ lol. I really gotta babysit some kids for a weekend to see if its for me or not. I love kids, they say the funniest things, make life not so serious and are just fun but l always just swing by, play games, give them gifts and peace out. I get that its prob totally different if its 24/7. I need to test this to see if l wanna be a parent or not. Like l even have a choice. I gotta date someone to start lol. Either way, had mad fun there and then headed out to Tango as a bunch of friends were there. Smoked hookah, did shots and ran around socializing. I miss nightlife but yooo lm so lazy now. Covid era really changed me. Hung out w a ton of friends. Had fun and gave rides back afterwards. Got home to hookah and youtube w Jeremiah till passing out cause l was drunk. Tequila is a killer.
Friday got up and Dan came through for a lil. Alex came too. Smoked hookah and watched some of Inventing Anna. Hit NYC and met up w my sister and everyone else at Chorus Karaoke in Ktown. Met a ton of people, had a drink and then we hit back to Sobe’s house. She had a chill spot. Just drinking games all night and lit the hookah. Slowly got to meet everyone or mostly everyone. Playing new drinking games that l wanna find the name of. Had mad fun and it was cool meeting a lot of new people. Hit back to Allison’s to eat dumplings and ramen.
Sat got up and started moving some of Allison’s stuff. We got food at Noodle House quickly and stuffed face. Vince came through too and then we headed out to pregame. This pregame was huge. Saw DianeL who l havent seen in forever and it was cool to catch up w her again. Lit the hookah, met new people, started bottle assassinating people and had a really fun pregame. There was cake and other birthday stuff for Vince. Happy Birthday Vince!!
Next up, we hit Whiskey Tavern. Just drinks and mad socializing. More friends met up and just ran around drinking and hanging out. Chill but nothing crazy. We then hit Den Social and got bottles upstairs. The squad was huge and there was soooo many Goose bottles lol. Music was ok, venue was really nice. Met more people from other tables. Acted dumb for a lil and then mostly just chilled cause we’ve been drinking for over 7 hours at this point. Im use to a good 3-4 hours of drinking. 7 hours is like St Patty’s Day college level lol. Had fun saying fucked up shit w KellyC cause she’s got dark humor too. Ditto. Oink Oink. l had to hold onto the railing to stop from collapsing on the floor. My sister and Angela got really drunk lol. Check the pics lol. Afterwards, gave Kirsten a ride back before we hit back to Allison’s again for more dumplings before passing out.
Sunday morning, more moving ughhhhh felt like hell. Thank god Allison got movers for the big stuff. Took a few trips dropping off stuff. Good seeing Annie again too. Our mom came through w the patio furniture l got Allison for her bday. Hit back home, got McDonalds on the way and just listened to Street Fighter related youtubes. Got my car wash since everyones car looks like ass after the snow. Did work at home in the afternoon and played Elden Ring at night lol. Some COD Warzone and got 2 rebirth wins w the guys and ended the night watching The Witcher season 2.
