An audio book called me out but its right. Talking bout how the response of 'how you doing?' is 'busy, working a lot' that its a good proud thing to say. But at the same time, it really is. The more lm working, the better for my future..... even if l have no time for video games WAHHHHHH!!!
But for real tho, the last 2 months have been nonstop. But really thinking bout it.... lm just working w friends on my own sced all the time. l dont really get stressed but more so overwhelmed but know l'll be able to handle everything. Its so weird... you know... growing up. l got ideas and stuff.... just not enough money to do anything which really really really sucks. 'Takes money to make money' yea it really does.
l dont need a lot of money. l just need like $100,000 to start some ideas lol. Wanna donate?! Plz donate. Help me... plz l beg you.
Besides work tho.... everything else is as dope as ever. Minus no time for video games. But its ok.... lm waiting on the pros to figure out shit first before really commiting to Mortal Kombat X. lm gonna still of course keep playing and learning characters and stuff. But lm not saying 'YOU ARE MY MAIN CHARACTER' to anyone yet. Theres soooooo much when approaching a game and who you will be using. First is figuring out the game mechanics to determine whats good and whats bad. Is it worth using meter on EX moves more or more so for combo breakers or more so... WHEN is it more optimal for EX moves and WHEN is it more optimal for combo breakers. What elements are highly abusiable and what are mechanics are weak. Then you gotta find all the good things in that character and make sure execution is consistent.
Its a pain.
Kk so my past 2 weeks.
April 9th
Thurs got up mad late and just had to catch up on work. Later on swung by Ryan's place and Knuckles, Zack and Bill joined for champagne cheese and hookah lol. Almost classy. We celebrated Ryan's accepted offer on his new home and l knew that means l gotta really really focus on renting out his current place, both units in there. Def a good night chilling, smoking, drinking and eating. l know it sounds like l live such a healthly lifestyle lol but its a happy lifestyle.... not like lm snorting cocaine lol. Chilled till 2am and hit back home.
Watching Mortal Kombat X videos as l was getting up and stayed up all night.
Friday did some running around for work w checks and got Subway and worked on Ryan's homes in tons of ways. Just worked through the evening and then later on hit up pregame at May Wu's. JohnV brough a group too for his friend's birthday and met up w my group and had a fun pregame. Drinking, playing ping pong which l beat everyone except ChrisJ. Def wanna play him again. Got a sweat on lol... may have to bring another T shirt when l pregame there. Def had a fun pregame and hit up Rumor.
So we just danced like crazy and l had a total of 2 more seperate times of getting a gross sweat on. l dont like to get THAT sweaty where my shirt sticks to me and l cant even move my arms up but def was having fun acting rowdy. JohnV's group was really cool to party w and blended along really well w my usual squadron. Partied till 2am and its always nice making new friends. A bunch of people came out to meet up for my birthday. Thank you everyone for making it out hehe. l really appreciate it!!
Ended my night w me and Brown eating cheese and talking bout tons of stuff. Def an easy ending haha.
Sat got up early and had house showings w Scott and saw some interesting homes. But one stood out. Def another chill day of house showings and we both hit back home and he came back to my place later on as Eric came through and Michelle and Nicky also came out as l havent seen them in a bit. Smoking hookah and snacking on pizza hut l got. Had a good time at a somewhat pregame and Brown and Joss came home to join too. The weather was sooo nice just had to ya know?
Followed it up by hitting up JohnP's party. Big group came through and John did his basement up really nice. Lit the hookah and played some beer pong. Me and EmilyL went 7-1 in beer pong haha. Def the best streak of the night but lost the Weili and Kyle eventually. Had a lot of fun being stupid and after drinks were drank and shots were shot, people started drawing on each other lol. Had dicks all over me. Drawn on me that is. Playing more beer pong, socializing all over the place and just had a really good night being w friends. Glad Michelle came all the way from VA and Eric came from Lebanon. Partied till late and hit back to eat and pass out. Eric warned me he snores really really bad. Even had nasal strips. Well they didnt work. Finally went to sleep when Brown left early in the morning w Adam to go Shopppping hayyyyy at 9am and Eric got up lol.
Sunday going from the night before, l finally slept and people just got food and had drinks and hookah outback. So got up at 2pm hearing friends laughing and stuff and l was like 'that sounds really fun' and forced myself up to hang out. Started the day eating fries and mayo w hookah lol. Healthy. l complain a lot how l eat and sleep like shit but l really do love having a social life lol. Had a good time and Michelle had a bus at around 530pm ish. Dropped her off at the bus and good seeing her again and glad she came through. Had a quick lil meeting w Long about everything going on and hit back quickly to get pizza and food from Giant and Adam Zen and Sam came through and we watched the first episode of Daredevil on Netflix. Chilled and stuffed face and then ended the night working and sleeping.
Monday took care of a lot of work for Ryan and ran errands all day. Started off the day taking care of soooo much stuff. Deserved an awesome nap. Slept all evening and then got up to meet up w Long for some food and JohnV came through and had a nice short meeting. Talking a lot bout our big event coming up and it was nice to talk about setting up events in general. Afterwards, met up w Vicky just to talk a lil. Nice talk and lm glad we did. You hear that you butt?! l know you reading this you creeper lol. Afterwards, hit back and FINALLY MORTAL KOMBAT X!!
So played the fuck outta it and def feeling multiple characters. Played some Story mode too and Story Mode is def wayyyy more entertaining than another other Fighting game Story mode. Since most games have barely nothing lol. It's really clever how they did it. Played that into Tues.
Tues slept all day and had house showings on Ryan's rental in the evening which went well. Took care of a lot of work and then played more Mortal Kombat X like.... all fucking night. Kotal Kahn, Scorpion, Ferra/Torr and Goro lm liking but mostly Goro. Its really hard first figuring out alllll mechanics of the game... weighing pros and cons then going through alllllllllllllllll 75 variations of the characters and then figuring out who is most optimal. Here is my check list for a game in GENERAL
How easy it is to get in on an opponent
How much damage can l do for each of my options
Do l have a reliable, on reaction, anti air
Do l have any major flaws that are fully exploitable
Are there any ridiculous unbalanced match ups that could be counterpicked
How easy are the combos
Is there a vortex
The fact you can hit throw and then meter burn it so they are stunned to go for whatever you want now means.... for one meter..... you get a full combo off throw.... as in.... throw is powerful, not just your third option on high/low/throw that tho beats both blockhigh/blocklow but now has equal damage. l dunno if people realize how powerful that is. Instead of say example high-30%damage/low-32%damage/throw-12%damage.... now throw is about 25-30%damage which means the likelyhood it'll be used will be higher and for good damage. Not.... shit he got me w throw but atleast its low damage. l think its INTERESTING they added that into the game for spending one meter but yooo.... may be a bit too powerful... same w overheads being even speed to other stuff. l just feel like.... whoever is on offense in this game is at great advantage. This game is all bout offense and setting people up. If options are safe, even better. Damage is so high as is.... guessing wrong twice could practically lead to game over. After being knocked down... basic high/low/throw... you have to guess how to dodge it RIGHT meaning 1/3 chance you will dodge and 2/3 chance you will eat 30-35% damage.
K so weds, started off hitting Philly w Sam and Suzie at Drexel that Pla told me were down to give out flyers. Hung out, they passed out flyers and got them lunch at a food truck and saw Hanjoo by chance who joined us for lunch. Hung out eating and it was a chill start to the day.
Afterwards, hit up Soundgarden Hall for the Runway show rehearsal and just chilled, met new people and gave my input on the performance. Small tweaks that made it look nice. Always nice hanging out in Soundgarden Hall while its not an event. Its crazy how long ago l use to party there and how that place started it all for my club life lol. Met some cool people and afterwards, hit back to chill for only a lil then back out to show Ryan's property again and that went well. House showings in the evening and then spent the rest of the night peacefully just sending out stuff to clients.
Thurs morning had a home inspection for Ryan's new home which went really well. Hung out w the inspector and Ryan and then afterwards hit up Temple to get my Street Team aka Allison/Jenna/Kimmi lol to pass out flyers for our event from 1130-130pm at the Temple Bell Tower. Watched their bags, ate Jenna's food and read my Game Informer while they ran around passing out flyers/reduced passes. Long stopped by too w more flyers and caught up a lil before the girls finished up the flyers. Also Allison brought me a birthday gift. Some non alcoholic Chardonnay so l can act fancy and a really nice white express hoodie. Its nice cause its white and clean.
Afterwards, got Vicky to check out Furious 7 which was a fun movie. Def the ending was sad tho. We got Luke's Lobster, thank you!! It was a birthday dinner and it was sooo good. The buttered buns they use too is soo good. l really like that spot. Afterwards, swung by Mike's afterwards as she needed to get Cookie butter cookies from Trader Joes next door to him and we stopped in to smoke hookah and catch up a lil since a lot of the time lm w Mike is during big ass pregames/parties lol. Afterwards, dropped off Vicky and hit home and just passed out as l got no sleep the night before since l had to wake up so early.

Friday stopped by Mary's to drop off the elec key and talk about real estate and then hit Matt's home before we sell it just to double check everything is fine. Had a mini home walk through by myself and it was fine. Spent the evening working on booking house showings and Ryan's rental now that he will have a full multi unit apartment and then afterwards, straight to Ryan's for a second showing for potential renters who signed the lease. lm an awesome friend l know l know l know.
So hit back, Brown hopped in my car and hit up Manayunk for looking at rentals for Steve Phil and Nick. Checked out a few spots and saw some potential. Got Subway and then picked up EmilyL and hit up MayW's pregame. Friends came through drank and played games and just had a really good pregame as always. Its always a mini house party lol. So hit up Coda and yoooooooooooooooo its..... a mixed crowd lol. l'll leave it at that. More a fan of the place when its DNA.... you know... chicks in tight black dresses. Not... something else. l dont wanna sound like a jerk but lm a jerk. Atleast we went squad deep and had fun with our group lol. Thats the good thing going squad deep. You're set w your friends. Had fun partying still and went a bit pic crazy.
Hit home and knocked out.
Got to May's and a ton of people came through. Drank and met new people as JohnV brought more new people from NJ. Got a lil upset stomach cause rum and burgers doesnt sound like a smart choice. l think l just cant drink rum anymore. l think lm just gonna stick w vodka and beer. As l get older, lm becoming more and more of a bitch. Not a complaint, just saying.
Hit up the DNA Event and tried to get my friends together in a group but its always a scattered night there. Ran around w Long and double checked on some things and was pretty much just on my phone for the first hour there. Some issues came up on the list and people getting stopped by the cops and aoiurhgoarhgaoihr but everything was going well overall. Got drinks, found friends and hit the dance floor. Tried to keep my entire group into one spot by the stage on the left because no matter where l went, friends were looking for friends and people kept moving. l just gave up lol and accepted the whole group wouldnt be one massive pile like usual. Went backstage to check up that performances were gonna be on time and the EDM Fashion went on first followed up by Ryan Banks' performance. Yooooo so l KNEW KNEW KNEW the Robots would be a hit. They got me hype anyway. Its so goofy but in the moment and environment l knew it would just work. Confetti blowing up and a ton of girls shaking ass on stage lol. The stage had quite a performance. Danced w friends more after Instant Party started to DJ and was able to relax a lil. Met some friends and re-met people l met before a long time ago lol. Def a really good night and def had a lot of laughs. Was so worn out tho. Afterwards, a ton of us got food at Tai Lake. Family styled it and stuffed face. l needed it as my stomach was dying from the alc. Good times as always and got back late night.
Hit the bed to sleep asap as l had house showings the next day. Def a very fun night and glad our event was hype. The robots lol.... so dope. l want them back.
Sunday woke up and started working as l had Matt Gif/Lisa's closing the next day and house showings w Esteban, Joe and their father and girlfriends. So was frantic all day and we saw 8 properties. Def some potential but def wanna show them some other areas too. Hit back just tired and bullshitted w Brown all evening and ate food and crap. Tried to go to bed early but just thought about tons of stuff. Shouldve just played Mortal Kombat X but l was a bit dizzy and theres really no point playing video games when not 100%.
Monday got up and did my closing for Lisa. Def glad that everything went smooth and happy that a nice young professional is the new home owner of Matt and Gif's old home. lm going to miss that place. That was my first real estate sale and now its my first real estate listing closed. Also my first double pop(duel agency - l was working w both buyer and seller). Lots of firsts in that home. Hit back, did work and fell asleep all evening. Got up and dropped off checks and been chilling w the roomates and burning butter and setting off fire alarms. Fun stuff. Loving Ancient Aliens on all night. Gonna finally do some Mortal Kombat X tonight.

Def exhausted from everything but a lot is getting done. Right now l really gotta find homes and get accepted offer for friends soon because more friends want to start searching in May and l dont want to be completely swarmed. Of course l wanna have a lot of work but l want to accepted offers lol, not just running homes everyday.
